Jujutsu Zero Ten Shadows Cursed Technique Guide – Skills

The Ten Shadows Cursed Technique has finally arrived in Jujutsu Zero, bringing one of the most anticipated abilities in the game. Unlike most cursed techniques, you won’t unlock its full moveset immediately. Instead, you’ll need to progress through the new Shadow Island, complete quests, defeat powerful Shikigami bosses, and collect special materials before reaching its full potential.

If you’ve just obtained Ten Shadows and aren’t sure what to do next, this guide explains the complete progression system from start to finish.

Jujutsu Zero Ten Shadows Cursed Technique Guide – Skills

The Ten Shadows Cursed Technique is available through the game’s Special Banner.

After obtaining it, don’t expect to receive every skill immediately.

Instead, you’ll begin with only one ability, while the rest of the moves must be unlocked through the new progression system.

How to Unlock Shadow Island

Before you can upgrade Ten Shadows, you’ll first need access to Shadow Island.

Step 1: Get a ??? Ticket

The island requires a ??? Ticket to enter.

You can obtain this item by defeating Event Bosses located in the Summer Festival area.

Since the ticket has a relatively low drop chance, expect to defeat several bosses before one finally drops.

Step 2: Return to Jujutsu High

After obtaining the ticket, leave the event area and return to Jujutsu High.

You’ll notice a brand-new NPC standing near the spawn area.

Talk to this NPC to travel to Shadow Island.

Meet Megumi

Once you arrive on Shadow Island, press M to open your map.

Locate Megumi and speak with him.

Megumi serves as the main NPC for the Ten Shadows progression system.

Complete Megumi’s Quests

Megumi currently offers two different quests.

Each completed quest rewards you with:

  • Shadow Essence

Shadow Essence is one of the most important materials in the update, so you’ll be collecting a lot of it as you progress.

How to Summon the Shadow Island Raid Boss

After collecting approximately 6–7 Shadow Essences, head to the top of Shadow Island.

You’ll find a special summoning area where the Shadow Essences can be offered.

Doing this summons one of the island’s raid bosses.

All Shadow Island Raid Bosses

There are four possible raid bosses.

The boss you fight is completely random each time you perform the summon.

Instead of always fighting the same enemy, you may encounter different Ten Shadows Shikigami depending on your luck.

For example, one summon may give you Shiro, while another could summon a completely different Shikigami.

Because of this randomness, unlocking every skill requires farming multiple raid bosses.

Collect Shikigami Tags

Every raid boss drops its own unique Tag Item.

These tags are required to unlock additional abilities for the Ten Shadows Cursed Technique.

Each Shikigami provides a different material, meaning you’ll need to defeat multiple bosses if you want to fully complete the mastery.

Mastery Tree

All progression is tracked inside the Mastery Skill Tree.

Open the Mastery menu and select Ten Shadows to view:

  • Locked skills
  • Required materials
  • Progress toward future upgrades

Whenever you obtain new Tag Items or other required resources, you’ll be able to unlock additional parts of the technique here.

Mini Bosses

Besides the main raid bosses, Shadow Island also contains Mini Bosses.

These enemies spawn periodically around the island and can also reward:

  • Shadow Essence

Although they don’t replace the raid bosses, they’re an excellent way to gather extra materials between raid attempts.

Ten Shadows Showcase

One of the most interesting aspects of this cursed technique is that it doesn’t rely solely on your own attacks.

Instead, many of its abilities revolve around summoning Shikigami to fight alongside you.

As you unlock more skills through the Mastery Tree, your available summons continue to expand, giving the technique much more versatility than when you first obtain it.

Some abilities can even be activated directly through your summoned Shikigami, making combat feel very different from most other cursed techniques currently available.
