Boss fights are some of the most challenging parts of Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD, and each boss comes with its own mechanics that you need to understand before you start the battle. Some bosses are heavily protected against magic, while others have special abilities that can completely change how the fight works.
In this guide, I’ll go over the major bosses from the campaign, including Sarelgaz, Moglok-Hai, Lord Blackburn, and Vez’nan. I’ll cover their health, defenses, movement, attacks, special abilities, and the important things you need to watch out for during each fight.
Kingdom Rush 6 Genesis TD Bosses Guide – Stats, Stage
If you are preparing for these stages or simply want to understand what each boss does, this guide gives you the important information you need in one place.
Sarelgaz
Boss: Sarelgaz
Stage: 11 – Frostbite Nest
Campaign Area: Stormcloud Depths
Movement: Ground
Rank: Boss
Sarelgaz is the Spider Queen of the Northern Lands and one of the major bosses you will face in Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD. She is described as a deadly foe capable of destroying an entire encampment on her own.
Her fight is particularly interesting because she has multiple phases, and each phase introduces different spider enemies.
Sarelgaz Health
Sarelgaz has different health values depending on your difficulty:
| Difficulty | Health |
|---|---|
| Casual | 7,700 |
| Normal | 9,000 |
| Veteran | 11,000 |
| Impossible | 12,000 |
She also has 76% magic resistance, meaning magic damage against her is reduced by 76%.
This makes magic-based attacks much less effective against her, so I would keep her resistance in mind when planning your tower setup.
Sarelgaz Stats
- Armor: None
- Magic Resistance: High (76%)
- Speed: Slow (15)
- Impossible Speed: 16.5
- Gold per Kill: 1
- Lives Lost at Exit: All
- Movement: Ground
- Can Soldiers Block Her: Yes
If Sarelgaz reaches the end of the path, you lose the stage.
Sarelgaz’s Main Attack
Sarelgaz has an ability that makes her extremely dangerous to soldiers.
Eats Units: Every 4 seconds, Sarelgaz eats every unit within a radius of 45.
Because of this, keeping large groups of soldiers directly around her can be risky. Her ability can remove units very quickly.
Sarelgaz’s Three Phases
One of the biggest mechanics in the Sarelgaz fight is her three-phase battle.
At 75% health and again at 45% health, Sarelgaz leaps off the battlefield.
While she is gone:
- Her health bar is hidden.
- She cannot be targeted.
- She cannot take damage.
- The next set of spider waves begins.
- She returns to the path during that wave.
Her second phase introduces Sons of Sarelgaz, while her third phase introduces Spider Matriarchs.
So, when Sarelgaz disappears, don’t assume the fight is over. You need to prepare for the additional spider enemies before she returns.
What Happens When Sarelgaz Dies?
Sarelgaz has an important boss mechanic that makes killing her especially valuable.
When Sarelgaz dies, every enemy still on the battlefield dies with her.
This means you do not necessarily need to defeat every enemy individually once you have finally taken down the boss.
Where Does Sarelgaz Appear?
Sarelgaz appears in:
- Campaign: Frostbite Nest – Stage 11
- Classic Rush: Stage 11
Moglok-Hai
Boss: Moglok-Hai
Stage: 13 – Stormcloud Halls
Campaign Area: Stormcloud Depths
Movement: Ground
Rank: Boss
Moglok-Hai is the fierce troll king who hates sunlight and wants to destroy the Stormcloud Temple so the sorcerers can no longer use the power of the sun gems.
His fight is very different from Sarelgaz because his shield gives him extremely high protection until the Sunray Tower hits him.
Moglok-Hai Health
| Difficulty | Health |
|---|---|
| Casual | 9,000 |
| Normal | 10,500 |
| Veteran | 13,000 |
| Impossible | 17,000 |
While Moglok-Hai carries his shield, he has 98% armor and 98% magic resistance.
That makes him incredibly difficult to damage normally.
The Sunray Tower Is Important
The key to fighting Moglok-Hai is the Sunray Tower.
When the Sunray Tower’s beam hits him:
- His shield is knocked away.
- His 98% armor is removed.
- His 98% magic resistance is removed.
- He is stunned for 5 seconds.
So the Sunray Tower is not just another tower during this boss fight. It is essential for removing Moglok-Hai’s protection.
Moglok-Hai Stats
- Armor: None without shield
- Armor with Shield: 98%
- Magic Resistance: None without shield
- Magic Resistance with Shield: 98%
- Speed: Slow (13)
- Impossible Speed: 14.3
- Gold per Kill: 1
- Lives Lost at Exit: All
- Movement: Ground
- Can Soldiers Block Him: Yes
Moglok-Hai’s Melee Attack
Moglok-Hai attacks nearby units every 1 second.
His melee attack deals:
150–250 physical damage
The attack affects units within a radius of 75.
This makes keeping him surrounded by soldiers particularly dangerous.
Moglok-Hai Jumps Between Paths
Moglok-Hai has another important mechanic.
After the Sunray Tower’s stun ends, he jumps to the stage’s other path.
While he is in the air, he cannot be damaged.
When he lands, his shield returns and the next wave begins.
This means you need to repeat the process of using the Sunray Tower to remove his protection.
Moglok-Hai Attacks the Sunray Tower
You also need to protect the Sunray Tower itself.
When Moglok-Hai gets close to the end of his path, he attacks the Sunray Tower.
The Sunray Tower can survive 3 strikes.
After the third strike, the tower breaks and the stage is lost.
So while you are focusing on damaging Moglok-Hai, you also need to make sure he does not reach the tower.
What Happens When Moglok-Hai Dies?
Just like Sarelgaz, Moglok-Hai’s death ends the rest of the fight.
When he dies, every enemy still on the battlefield dies with him.
Where Does Moglok-Hai Appear?
Moglok-Hai appears in:
- Campaign: Stormcloud Halls – Stage 13
- Classic Rush: Stage 13
Lord Blackburn
Boss: Lord Blackburn
Stage: 15 – Castle Blackburn
Campaign Area: Eastern Regions
Movement: Ground
Rank: Boss
Lord Blackburn is the lord of Valardul. According to his story, he made a deal with dark powers to save his people and must now pay the price.
He is the boss of Stage 15, Castle Blackburn.
Lord Blackburn Health
| Difficulty | Health |
|---|---|
| Casual | 9,000 |
| Normal | 11,000 |
| Veteran | 12,000 |
| Impossible | 14,000 |
Lord Blackburn Stats
Lord Blackburn has medium armor and no magic resistance.
- Armor: Medium (60%)
- Casual Armor: 50%
- Impossible Armor: 74%
- Magic Resistance: None
- Speed: Slow (12)
- Impossible Speed: 13.2
- Gold per Kill: 1
- Lives Lost at Exit: All
- Movement: Ground
- Can Soldiers Block Him: Yes
His armor means physical damage is reduced, but unlike some other bosses, he does not have magic resistance.
Lord Blackburn’s Battle
Lord Blackburn does not have the complicated shield mechanic of Moglok-Hai or the multi-Vez’nan system you will encounter later.
However, his high health and armor still make him a serious threat.
Because he has no magic resistance, magic damage can be useful against him if you have the right towers available.
Vez’nan
Boss: Vez’nan
Stage: 18 – Vez’nan’s Tower
Campaign Area: Eastern Regions
Movement: Ground
Rank: Boss
Vez’nan is the dark wizard and one of the main enemies of the Kingdom Rush series. In Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD, his boss fight is one of the most unusual because you do not fight just one Vez’nan at the beginning.
Instead, the fight starts with three Vez’nans.
Only one of them is real.
Vez’nan Health
The listed boss health values are:
| Difficulty | Health |
|---|---|
| Casual | 5,666 |
| Normal | 6,666 |
| Veteran | 7,666 |
| Impossible | 8,666 |
The final real Vez’nan heals to a higher full-health value when he appears during the fight.
Vez’nan Stats
- Armor: None
- Magic Resistance: None
- Speed: Slow (10)
- Impossible Speed: 11
- Gold per Kill: 0
- Lives Lost at Exit: All
- Movement: Ground
- Can Soldiers Block Him: Yes
Vez’nan has no armor or magic resistance, but his special abilities make the encounter much more complicated than his basic stats suggest.
Three Vez’nans
At the beginning of the battle, three Vez’nans appear.
Two of them are illusions, while one is the real Vez’nan.
The first two Vez’nans you reduce to 0 health are always the illusions.
This means you cannot simply identify the real one immediately and focus all your attacks on him.
Vez’nan Illusions Explode
When an illusion reaches 0 health, it explodes.
The explosion instantly kills soldiers, heroes, and enemies within a radius of 200.
However, bosses and summons that cannot be killed outright are spared.
A Demon Lord also appears where the destroyed illusion was.
So I would be very careful about allowing your soldiers and heroes to stand close to a Vez’nan illusion when you are about to defeat it.
Vez’nan Illusions Can Lock Towers
The illusions also have another annoying ability.
Every 15 seconds, an illusion locks 2 towers within a radius of 300.
You then have a short window to free them.
On regular controls, tapping a locked tower 3 times within the first 4 seconds frees it.
On phones and tablets, you need to tap it 5 times.
If you do not free the tower in time, it stays locked for another 6 seconds.
The real Vez’nan does not lock towers.
This makes the illusion phase more than just a damage check. You also need to keep an eye on your towers.
The Real Vez’nan Appears
Once the second illusion is defeated, the remaining Vez’nan becomes the real one.
At this point, he:
- Teleports to the middle of the battlefield.
- Kills every other enemy.
- Starts the final wave.
His arrival also has some devastating effects.
Soldiers are killed outright, although summons that cannot be killed outright are spared.
Heroes are stunned for 14 seconds.
Vez’nan then heals back to his full health.
The listed full-health values for this final phase are:
- Casual: 5,999
- Normal: 6,999
- Veteran: 7,999
- Impossible: 9,999
So the final phase effectively gives you a fresh boss fight after the illusion phase.
Vez’nan’s Demonic Bolts
The real Vez’nan fires a demonic bolt every 5 seconds.
The bolt targets a unit between 100 and 260 range away and deals:
180–240 true damage
Because this is true damage, it ignores normal physical and magical defenses.
Vez’nan Siphons Souls
The real Vez’nan has another extremely dangerous ability.
Every 7 seconds, he can drain up to 5 units within a radius of 250.
Each affected unit takes:
550–750 true damage
If the damage would kill a soldier, Vez’nan consumes that soldier instead.
For every unit he drains, Vez’nan heals 100 health.
This means letting multiple units remain within the ability’s range can actually help Vez’nan recover health while damaging your forces.
What Happens When Vez’nan Dies?
Once you finally defeat the real Vez’nan, the fight ends.
Every enemy still on the battlefield dies with him.
This is especially useful because the final wave can contain other enemies that would otherwise require additional attention.
Vez’nan Illusion Variant
The Vez’nan illusions have slightly different abilities from the real Vez’nan.
An illusion can:
- Lock towers.
- Cast demonic bolts.
However, an illusion cannot siphon souls.
The soul-draining ability belongs to the real Vez’nan during the final phase.
Where Does Vez’nan Appear?
Vez’nan appears in:
- Campaign: Vez’nan’s Tower – Stage 18
- Classic Rush: Stage 18
The bosses in Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD each require a different approach. Sarelgaz relies on multiple phases and dangerous spider enemies, while Moglok-Hai is heavily protected by his shield and requires the Sunray Tower to remove it.
Lord Blackburn is more straightforward, but his armor and high health still make him a serious threat. Vez’nan is arguably the most mechanically complex of these encounters, with three versions, exploding illusions, tower locks, demonic bolts, and a powerful soul-draining ability.
When I prepare for these boss stages, I would not look only at the boss’s health. The special mechanics are just as important. Knowing when a boss disappears, when its defenses are removed, or when an ability is about to trigger can make the difference between losing the stage and finally taking the boss down.
