It may get outclassed by other skills if you’re very early in the game (before Hell 2) or later on (Heaven and Beyond).
Legend of Slime Best Build 2024 – Bird Build Guide
Relics:
- Pottery

Skills:
- Rage (NECESSARY)
- Reaper
- Pyrokinesis
- Blizzard
- Detonative Slime

Note: You can replace a skill with Warrior Breaker or Irradiating Comet if you’d like. I’d recommend replacing Pyrokinesis or Detonative Slime. However, it is best to test what works for you.
Treasures:

Companions: You want your 4 highest ATK Bird/Chicken type companions and 1 Frog type companion. Ignore the ATK Speed stat.
Ring: In Slime Legion, aim for the D-Rank reward. It has a chance to be the Blue Ring or Metal Ring, but you want the Metal Ring for bonus Egg Throw damage.
Stat priority:
- Companion ATK > Boss ATK > HP > Else
Important Note:
If getting a D-Rank ring is no longer possible because your starting grade is C-Rank (due to owned slime count), go for an S-Rank ring instead. Keep your latest Metal Ring just in case it remains the best option.
Toy: Standard toy progression with Companion% as an important stat.
- Before Level 95:
- ATK% > Crit% > Companion% > Matching > Boss/Skill%
- Do NOT take this toy above Legendary rarity.
- After Level 95:
- Companion% > Matching > Boss% > Skill/HP%
Important Toy Note:
LEVEL YOUR TOYS ONE AT A TIME. Past level 95, the only things that matter are Companion% and that it’s matching. Everything else is a luxury and isn’t a necessity.
Traits: All 5 traits should be the standard “Increase ATK by” trait. Not Companion ATK, Critical ATK, or anything else—just ATK.

- 1 Ghost/Vampire
Important Notes:
- If you are getting one-shot or dying frequently, equip Flexible Bamboo instead of Ancient Bonsai and change Reaper for Detonative Slime.
- If you’re still dying, replace Birdy Mask with Folksy Mask. At max promotion, it effectively gives 5x HP (enemies deal 80% less damage).
- If you’re still getting one-shot, revert to the original build and make the following changes:
- Pottery for Slime Mucin
- Sacred Necklace for Friendship Necklace
- Change your 1 Frog-type companion to a Snail-type companion.
- Frog Vase for Gold Spoon
- Gold Bread for Explosive Taco
- Reaper for Detonative Slime
Evelyn’s Later Game Skill Build
Prerequisites:
- Legendary Skill% Talisman (rightmost blue one) must be at least level 15.
- Enough Trait Points to get at least 1 SS Skill ATK trait, ideally 2 SSS.
Note (Please Read): A few things, such as Magic Items and Slimes, make this build stronger.
- Recommended Magic Items:
- Bounty 🏆 (boosts Terrify)
- Umbrella ☂️ (boosts Lightning Strike)
- Wizard Hat 🎩 (also boosts Lightning Strike)
While none of these are strictly necessary, they dramatically increase damage output.
Recommended Slime:
- Gent: Ideal due to his damage buff, but the build works without any P2W Slimes.
If you have the following:
- Rainy Day Constellation fully unlocked
- Level 50+ Mythic Companions
- Miner/Ignis
The Build
Relics:
- Slime Mucin
- Opal~1
- Snail Figurine
- Regal Pillow
- Sacred Necklace
- Kitsune Mask
- Tome of Disorder
Skills: The skills for this build are very subjective due to the influence of magic items. Ideal skills include:
- Bounty (to boost Terrify)
- Umbrella (to boost Lightning Strike)
- Wizard Hat (for Lightning Strike)
If you get one-shot no matter what (refer to the notes below before returning to this section), then Summon Evil Spirit with Scroll and Pearl Necklace works great.
Other useful skills:
- Slimy Press (necessity)
- Irradiating Comet
- Warrior Breaker
Leaving slots unfilled may also boost damage. I recommend testing different combinations or asking for specific advice.
Treasures:
- Slime Doll

- Giant Aloe
- Gold Bread
- Dwarf Armor
Ring:
- With Umbrella and Bounty magic items:
- A-Rank Rosetta Stone (for Terrify damage) with stats HP > Boss (and whatever else needed to achieve A-Rank).
- If you are getting one-shot regardless of HP:
- A-Rank Air Freshener (for Summon Evil Spirit damage) with Boss.
- If you don’t have all the right magic items:
- S-Rank ring, HP > Boss.
Toy: Follow normal toy progression:
- Companion% > Matching Toy > Boss% > HP%
Traits:
- 3 ATK and 2 SKILL ATTACK
For Synergy:
- 4 Hydra, 1 Ghost/Vampire
- OR 5 Ghost
- OR 2 Hydra, 3 Ghost
Note: Synergy Ghost traits are underrated in terms of HP bonus. Refer to theory-crafting for more information on this.
Companions:
- As many Frogs as possible.
- 1 Snail.
- If there’s still an empty slot, use a Cat to fill it, or a Bird if you need HP (from 🕯️).
- You can use Rainy Day Ellipson to add a Frog tag to Spiky.
Important Notes:
- If you cannot survive:
- Swap Giant Aloe for Flexible Bamboo.
- Swap Kitsune Mask for a level 200 Folksy Mask.
- Add more HP on your ring.
- If none of these options help, consider ignoring HP on the ring entirely until you can eventually survive.
