Nuclear Epoch Beginner Guide – Best Base Location, Loot
If you’re wondering where to settle, don’t just drop a base wherever you happen to stop.
One of the strongest starting locations is the right side of the B2 region, directly below Fluorescent Lake.
Why this spot?
Because nearly every resource you’ll desperately need during the early game is nearby.
You’ll have easy access to:
- Copper Ore
- Iron Ore
- Trees
- Clay
- Plenty of gathering routes
Instead of constantly traveling across the map for basic crafting materials, you can spend that time progressing through quests and improving your gear.
You’ll thank yourself later.
Gather Windblade Grass Faster
Windblade Grass becomes a resource you’ll collect constantly, so efficiency matters.
The simplest trick is using a Knife instead of heavier gathering tools.
The Knife consumes very little stamina, letting you gather much longer before needing to rest.
Even better, eat any food that restores stamina over time before heading out.
That combination allows you to farm huge amounts of grass without constantly stopping.

Fortunately, keys aren’t particularly rare.

- Purchasing them from merchants.

- Discovering them as random dungeon loot.

Tier 1 & Tier 2
Feel free to mix different elemental weapons and armor.

Tier 3
