The new Blood Moon update has arrived in Pet Simulator 99, bringing new areas, pets, upgrades, rewards, and several features that you do not want to miss. This update is also Part 2 of the Hatch Wars event, so there is plenty of new content to explore if you want to collect better pets and make progress.
In this guide, I will explain everything added in the Blood Moon update, including the Giant Pumpkin rebirth system, the new Werewolf Woods and Count’s Manor areas, Trick-or-Treat houses, and the new upgrades. I will also explain how the Blood Moon luck bonus works and how you can use the new Season Pass to earn rewards.
There are also new Huge and Titanic pets, Tier 3 boosts, and a free-to-play Season Pass that gives you a chance to earn a Huge pet without spending Robux. So, let’s go through all the important features and see what you should focus on first in Pet Simulator 99.
Pet Simulator 99 Blood Moon Event Guide – Titanic Pets
The first thing you need to do is enter the new Blood Moon event world. You can access it by entering the event area or clicking the event button on the left side of your screen.
Once you enter, you will find several changes compared to the previous Hatch Wars event. The Giant Pumpkin has been updated, new areas have been added, and there are additional ways to earn pets, boosts, and other rewards.
Let’s start with the biggest change to the event: the Giant Pumpkin.
Giant Pumpkin Rebirth System Explained
The Giant Pumpkin has received an important update. It now takes more points to fill it completely, but there is also a new rebirth system that improves your chances of obtaining valuable pets.
You need to feed the Giant Pumpkin until it is completely full before you can open it. After opening it for the first time, you can rebirth the pumpkin to increase your chances of getting the new Huge and Titanic pets.
How to Rebirth the Giant Pumpkin
Here is how the system works:
- Feed the Giant Pumpkin until its progress is completely full.
- Open the Giant Pumpkin to claim its rewards.
- Use the rebirth option that becomes available.
- Feed the pumpkin again to reach the next requirement.
- Repeat the process to improve your chances of obtaining better pets.
The initial requirement appears to be around 2.7 billion points, although the exact amount may vary depending on your progress.
After the first rebirth, the requirement increases significantly. In the update I covered, Rebirth 1 required approximately 5.4 billion points to fill the pumpkin again.
The more you rebirth, the harder it becomes to fill the pumpkin, but your chances of getting the new Huge and Titanic pets improve.
The maximum rebirth level was not confirmed in the information available, so you may need to continue progressing to find out how far the system goes.
New Huge and Titanic Pets
The Giant Pumpkin’s loot pool has also been updated with new pets.
The new Huge pet is the Huge Stitch Dog, while the event also features a new Titanic pet. The Titanic becomes available through further rebirth progression.
At the beginning, you may only see the Huge pet available in the pumpkin’s reward pool. As you continue rebirthing, you can unlock access to the Titanic as well.
If your goal is to obtain these rare pets, the rebirth system is one of the main features you should focus on during the Blood Moon event.
All New Areas in the Blood Moon Update
The update adds two new areas to explore: Werewolf Woods and Count’s Manor. Both areas include new breakables, pets, and bosses that can help you progress through the event.
Werewolf Woods
Werewolf Woods is the fifth area in the event and features the Werewolf Elcon boss.
This area is especially interesting because Werewolf Elcon is based on the creator featured in the original gameplay. You can fight this boss to earn rewards from its loot pool.
The area also has a new egg containing stat pets that can help you deal more damage and progress toward the final area.
If you are still building your team, make sure to check out the available pets here before moving on.
Count’s Manor
Count’s Manor is the final area introduced in this update, and it contains several new features.
Here, you can find:
- A new breakable area.
- A new egg containing stat pets.
- The Count Nay boss.
- New Huge, Titanic, and Gargantuan pet rewards associated with the event’s boss system.
- Trick-or-Treat houses with additional rewards.
Count Nay works similarly to the boss from Part 1 of the event. You fight the boss and have a chance to obtain valuable pets from its reward pool.
The update also keeps existing features such as the Luck Flame and the Team Orange versus Team Blue system. These mechanics remain part of the event, while the new areas and rewards provide additional reasons to keep playing.
How to Get Rewards From Trick-or-Treat Houses
One of my favorite additions in the Blood Moon update is the Trick-or-Treat house system. These houses give you another way to collect rewards while exploring Count’s Manor.
You can approach a house and knock to receive rewards. However, you need to unlock the houses first by spending Lollipops.
How to Get Lollipops
You can obtain Lollipops from breakables and other event activities. According to the update information, Trick-or-Treat houses can also provide them.
Once you have enough Lollipops, use them to unlock the houses and start collecting their rewards.
All Trick-or-Treat House Rewards
The houses offer different rewards, and the rewards generally become more valuable as you unlock further houses.
You can unlock houses up to House 8. Some of the rewards include boosts and the new Blood Moon Gift, which contains improved Tier 3 boosts.
There are also chances to obtain rare pets from the later houses:
- House 7: Has a chance to reward a new Huge pet during the Blood Moon event.
- House 8: Has a chance to reward a new Huge pet and a Titanic pet.
The Huge pet appears to be a vampire-themed penguin, although its exact name was not confirmed in the information covered here.
You can knock on each house to collect rewards approximately every 10 minutes. Make sure to revisit the houses regularly so you do not miss additional rewards.
New Tier 3 Boosts in Pet Simulator 99
The Blood Moon update introduces new Tier 3 boosts, which are stronger versions of the earlier boosts from Part 1.
These include:
- Lucky Candle III
- Soul Lantern III
- Lucky Spell III
- The new Blood Moon Gift, which can contain Tier 3 boosts
If you are planning to spend a lot of time hatching eggs or farming event rewards, these boosts are worth looking into.
The improved boost tiers give you better perks than their Tier 1 and Tier 2 versions, making them useful additions to your event farming setup.
All New Blood Moon Upgrades
The update also adds several upgrades that can improve your progress throughout the event. You can find the upgrade machine in the event’s later area.
Here are the main upgrades to focus on.
Hatch Speed
Hatch Speed allows you to open eggs faster. This is particularly useful if you plan to hatch a large number of eggs while trying to obtain the new pets.
Shiny Hunter
Shiny Hunter increases your chances of obtaining Shiny pets from the new eggs.
If you are trying to collect better versions of the event pets, upgrading this ability can be useful.
Moon Luck
Moon Luck improves your luck while the Blood Moon is active.
This upgrade is particularly important because the event provides increased chances of obtaining valuable pets during its active period.
Afterglow
Afterglow makes the Blood Moon luck effect last longer.
Since the event’s bonus is temporary, extending its duration can help you take better advantage of the increased luck.
Coin Hunter
Coin Hunter increases the number of coins you receive from breakables. The amount you earn improves as you upgrade it.
If you regularly farm breakables in the event areas, this upgrade can help you collect more coins while progressing.
How the Blood Moon Event Works
The Blood Moon is one of the main features of this update. It activates periodically and provides temporary luck bonuses that improve your chances of obtaining valuable pets.
The event was described as occurring approximately every 2–3 hours, although you should check the in-game timer for the current schedule.
How to Check the Blood Moon Timer
To check when the next Blood Moon will happen:
- Travel to Area 6.
- Find the Luck Flame.
- Look up toward the sky near the event display.
- Check the timer showing when the Blood Moon is expected to begin.
This lets you plan your farming sessions around the event instead of waiting without knowing when it will start.
Blood Moon Luck Bonuses
While the Blood Moon is active, you receive 3x luck for normal event-related luck bonuses.
However, the Huge and Titanic pet chances use a separate bonus. The update information specifies that the Blood Moon provides a 2x better chance of hatching Huge and Titanic pets, rather than 3x.
This distinction is important because the general luck multiplier and the bonus for the rarest pets are not the same.
The increased Huge and Titanic chances were described as applying to the event’s eggs and bosses. Whether the same bonus applies to Trick-or-Treat house rewards was not confirmed.
How to Make the Most of the Blood Moon
If you want to get the most out of the event, I recommend preparing before the Blood Moon starts.
- Save resources for hatching the new event eggs.
- Upgrade Moon Luck to improve your luck during the event.
- Upgrade Afterglow to extend the luck effect.
- Prepare your team for fighting the event bosses.
- Make use of your available boosts.
- Check the timer so you can be ready when the event begins.
Because the Blood Moon is temporary, preparing in advance gives you more time to take advantage of its bonuses.
Blood Moon Season Pass: How to Get a Free Huge Pet
Another major addition is the new Season Pass. This is particularly useful because you can progress through it without spending Robux.
The Season Pass contains quests that reward you with tokens. You can then spend those tokens in the rewards section to unlock different items.
The reward track extends to Tier 240, where you can obtain the new Huge Hippoin pet.
This makes the Season Pass worth completing even if you are a free-to-play player who does not already own a Huge pet.
How to Earn Season Pass Tokens
To earn tokens, open the Season Pass and go to the quest section. Complete the listed objectives to receive tokens, then visit the rewards section to spend them.
Different quests provide different amounts of tokens, so check the available objectives and focus on the ones you can complete efficiently.
Farm Werewolf Elcon for Season Pass Tokens
One of the quests featured in the update requires you to defeat Werewolf Elcon five times.
Completing this objective rewards 10 tokens. This gives the Werewolf Woods boss another purpose beyond its regular loot pool.
There is also a quest involving defeating one of the two newest bosses. The exact repeat or reset behavior of the Werewolf Elcon quest was not confirmed, so check your current Season Pass quests to see whether it becomes available again.
If the quest is available, farming the boss is a useful way to make progress toward your Season Pass rewards.
New Season Pass Rewards
The Season Pass also includes rewards that become available over time.
The update indicated that new rewards would be added in a later update, allowing players to continue spending tokens on additional items.
If you want the Huge Hippoin or other rewards from the track, start completing quests early instead of waiting until the end.
What Is the Giant Candy Chest?
The update also introduces a Giant Candy Chest item. It is associated with the League system, but it can be useful for regular players as well.
The item is available through certain Season Pass rewards, including rewards mentioned around Tiers 3 and 4 in the update coverage.
How to Use the Giant Candy Chest
To use it, stand near a Trick-or-Treat house and activate the item so the chest appears nearby.
When used correctly, the Giant Candy Chest can double the loot from the house and the chest.
This makes it a useful item if you want to maximize the rewards you receive from Trick-or-Treat houses.
Only four of these items were shown in the Season Pass rewards discussed in the update. Other possible sources were not confirmed, so check the current in-game reward options before spending resources or purchasing anything specifically to obtain them.
All Important Blood Moon Update Features
Here is a quick recap of the main features added in Part 2 of the Hatch Wars event.
- Giant Pumpkin rebirth: Rebirth the pumpkin to improve your chances of obtaining rare pets.
- New Huge pet: Huge Stitch Dog.
- New Titanic pet: Unlock access through further Giant Pumpkin rebirth progression.
- Werewolf Woods: A new area featuring Werewolf Elcon and a new egg.
- Count’s Manor: The final new area, featuring Count Nay and additional event rewards.
- Trick-or-Treat houses: Unlock houses using Lollipops and collect rewards approximately every 10 minutes.

- Giant Candy Chest: Can double the loot from a Trick-or-Treat house and the chest when used correctly.
The Blood Moon update adds plenty of new content to Pet Simulator 99, especially if your goal is to collect Huge and Titanic pets. The Giant Pumpkin rebirth system gives you a reason to keep progressing, while Werewolf Woods and Count’s Manor introduce new bosses, eggs, and rewards.
I recommend working on the Season Pass early, upgrading Moon Luck and Afterglow, and unlocking the Trick-or-Treat houses. When the Blood Moon activates, make the most of its increased luck and better Huge and Titanic chances.
The best part is that the Season Pass offers a free-to-play path toward a Huge pet, so you have another long-term goal to work toward even if you do not want to spend Robux.
If you are playing the new update, focus on completing quests, collecting Lollipops, improving your upgrades, and preparing for each Blood Moon. That way, you can make steady progress and get the most out of everything Part 2 has to offer.
