Slap Battles PIM Boss Battle Guide – How to Get Marewarder

If you’re trying to complete the new PIM boss battle in Slap Battles, you’re probably going to feel a little lost at first. The dungeon has multiple rooms, locked doors, keys, traps, potions, and even PIM himself can catch you off guard. I definitely wouldn’t recommend going in without knowing what you’re looking for.

The good news is that once you understand how the rooms and keys work, the whole thing becomes much easier. Here’s everything you need to know to work your way through the PIM boss battle and unlock the rewards, including the Marewarder and Static Glove progression.

How to Start the PIM Boss Battle in Slap Battles

First, head toward the center of the Slap Battles map and look for PIM. Interact with PIM to enter the area where the boss challenge takes place.

Once you’re inside, you’ll notice that the dungeon is made up of several different rooms. Your main objective is simple:

Explore the rooms, find the required keys, and use those keys to unlock the corresponding doors.

There are five main doors that you need to open, and each one requires a specific key.

The confusing part is that the keys aren’t simply sitting in an obvious location. You’ll have to explore the dungeon, open chests, deal with traps, and occasionally use special potions to reach certain areas.

Find the Red Key First

The first key you’ll want to look for is the Red Key.

After opening the first room, make your way toward the area containing several chests. You’ll find five chests there, but don’t assume every chest is going to be helpful.

Some of them are traps or otherwise bad chests, while another chest contains the key you’re actually looking for.

Open the chests until you find the Red Key.

One important thing to remember here is that this part needs to be done in a public server. If you’re trying this in a private server and the Red Key isn’t appearing, that’s likely the reason.

Once you’ve obtained the Red Key, take it back to the appropriate locked door and use it to open the next section of the dungeon.

Every Room Has Something You Need

This is where PIM’s dungeon starts getting a little confusing.

There are several different rooms connected to the main area, and you’ll need to keep moving between them to find the items required to progress.

Don’t just rush through the rooms. Take a moment to look around because you’ll find things like:

  • Keys
  • Health potions
  • Speed potions
  • Shrinking potions
  • Dungeon maps
  • Hidden chests
  • Traps
  • Mimic chests
  • Blue numbers

The keys are the most important items, but some of the other items can make the dungeon considerably easier to navigate.

Watch Out for the Trapped Chests

Not every chest is safe.

Some chests can damage you when opened, while others can contain useful items such as health potions. There are also mimic chests that can attack you.

So, don’t blindly open every chest you see.

If you open something and it turns out to be a mimic, your best option is often to run away instead of trying to fight it. There’s no reason to waste your health if you don’t need to.

You’ll also encounter various traps throughout the dungeon, including tripwires and other hazards. Pay attention to the floor and surroundings before running into a new area.

Trust me, losing most of your health because you sprinted straight through a trap is not how you want your run to end.

Get the Shrinking Potion

The Shrinking Potion is particularly useful because you’ll need it to reach one of the areas containing a key.

As you continue turning the wheel and opening different sections, you’ll eventually find a room where you need to reach a higher or otherwise difficult-to-access area.

This is where the Shrinking Potion comes in.

Use the potion to shrink yourself, then make your way toward the small opening/door and enter the area.

Inside, you’ll be able to find another key — in the walkthrough, this is the Silver Key.

So if you find a Shrinking Potion, don’t waste it. Keep it available because you’ll need it for progression.

Be Extremely Careful When PIM Appears

This is probably one of the most important things to remember during the entire dungeon.

When PIM appears, stop moving.

Seriously, don’t try to sprint past him or panic and start moving around. Wait until PIM moves before continuing through the area.

Moving at the wrong time can get you killed very quickly.

There’s also an additional danger when dropping into certain areas, so don’t assume that reaching a new section automatically means you’re safe.

If PIM appears, stay still and wait for the opportunity to move again.

Blue Numbers Are Important

While exploring the dungeon, you’ll notice blue numbers appearing around the map.

Make sure you pay attention to these.

The blue numbers are part of the information you’ll need for progressing through the dungeon, so don’t simply ignore them when you come across one.

If you see a blue number, remember it or keep track of it. You may need to use the information later.

This is one of those things that’s easy to overlook when you’re focused on finding the next key, but it can save you a lot of confusion later.

Use the Dungeon Map to Navigate

At one point, you’ll be able to obtain a Dungeon Map.

If you’re getting completely turned around inside PIM’s dungeon, this is extremely useful.

The dungeon has a lot of similar-looking areas, doors and paths, so it’s very easy to forget where you’ve already been.

The map helps you understand where you are and makes finding the remaining areas much easier.

I’d definitely recommend grabbing it if you come across it instead of ignoring it.

How to Deal With the Eye Traps

Some areas contain dangerous eyes that can deal a surprising amount of damage.

If you’re struggling with them, keep an eye out for a Poison Potion.

You can throw the Poison Potion at the eyes to get rid of them, which makes navigating the area considerably safer.

Don’t stand around taking unnecessary damage from them. If you have the right item available, use it and move on.

Look for Hidden Chests

While exploring, don’t only focus on the obvious chests.

There are also hidden chests tucked away in some areas. These can contain useful items, including potions and potentially important progression items.

Some of these areas are dangerous to reach, though, so be careful when going after them.

If your health is already low, it may be better to grab a health potion first rather than risking the entire run for an extra chest.

What Happens When You Get a Key?

Once you’ve found one of the required keys, take it to the matching locked door.

Use the key on the door to unlock the next part of the dungeon.

You’ll gradually repeat this process:

Explore → Find items → Locate a key → Unlock a door → Explore the next area

It sounds simple when written down, but the actual dungeon can be pretty confusing because the rooms are connected in different ways.

The biggest thing is not to rush. If you can’t find the next key immediately, go back through the areas you’ve already visited and look for a path you may have missed.

Your Keys Stay After Leaving

Here’s a really useful detail that can save you a lot of time.

If you collect a key and then leave the game, the key can remain saved when you rejoin.

That means you don’t necessarily have to complete everything in one attempt.

If you’re low on health or simply need to take a break, you can leave and rejoin later and continue working on your progression.

This makes the whole challenge much less frustrating, especially if you don’t want to risk losing everything after spending a long time exploring the dungeon.

How to Complete the PIM Boss Battle

Ultimately, your goal is to work your way through all of the dungeon’s different sections and collect the required keys.

You’ll need to unlock the different doors one by one until you’ve opened all of the necessary areas.

Keep checking the rooms for:

  • Required keys
  • Blue numbers
  • Potions
  • Maps
  • Hidden chests
  • Switches
  • Alternate paths

Don’t forget about switches either. Some areas have switches that need to be activated to open or change access to another section.

Once you’ve collected the necessary keys and unlocked all of the required doors, you’ll finally be able to reach the reward associated with completing the PIM challenge.
