RE:AOPG Tier List – Best Fruits, Swords, Melee & Guns

If you’re trying to get stronger in RE:AOPG, you don’t need to collect every weapon, fruit, and fighting style in the game. What matters is knowing which upgrades are actually worth your time.

This guide breaks down the main swords, fruits, melee styles, and guns from beginner options all the way to the strongest builds currently discussed in the guide. It also explains where to get them and which upgrades you should prioritize as you progress.

Note: Some requirements and rankings in the source are based on the game’s state at the time of the video. RE:AOPG can change with updates, so specific drop rates, buffs, and unlock requirements may change.

RE:AOPG Tier List – Best Fruits, Swords, Melee & Guns

The sword progression is relatively straightforward. You don’t need to collect every sword available in the First Sea. Instead, focus on the weapons that actually improve your build.

D-Tier — Twilight / Dual Yoru

Twilight, formerly associated with Dual Yoru, is an accessible stepping stone for sword players.

You don’t need the normal Yoru first to obtain it.

The requirements mentioned in the guide include:

  • A decent amount of stats
  • Around 30,000 Gems
  • The required title
  • Mihawk dungeon clears for unlocking the moves

Its mode provides approximately 1.7x global damage, making it a reasonable early sword but not something you’ll want to keep forever.

The important thing is that it gives newer sword players a clear path toward stronger equipment.

C-Tier — Odin’s V2 Blade

Odin’s V2 Blade can be obtained in the Second Sea, specifically around Flower Kingdom.

Its mode provides approximately:

  • 1.8x global damage
  • 1.66x sword damage
  • 2x speed

That’s a substantial improvement over the earlier sword options.

The guide also mentions Flame Pipe as a potential alternative, although its availability is tied to later content.

For players who haven’t reached the later seas yet, Odin’s V2 is a perfectly reasonable sword to work toward.

B-Tier — Dragon Slayer

Dragon Slayer is obtained in the Multiverse Sea, through the God’s Hand Dungeon.

You’ll need to defeat the relevant boss and complete the requirements to unlock its mode.

Its mode provides approximately 2.1x global damage, putting it among the strongest swords available within the progression covered by the guide.

If you’re already in Multiverse Sea, this is a major upgrade worth pursuing.

A-Tier — Human Awakened Sword

The guide places the Human-awakened sword setup in A-Tier.

The important requirement is having the Human race awakened.

Its mode is particularly powerful because the guide states that it provides around a 3x global damage buff for every 1,000 Defense points.

This makes the setup extremely strong for players who are able to meet the requirements.

The major downside is accessibility: it is effectively treated as a premium/pay-to-win option in the current game state described by the video.

RE:AOPG Fruit Tier List

Fruits are much easier to understand if you separate grinding efficiency from maximum damage.

C-Tier — Dark V2

For beginners, Dark V2 is one of the best fruits you can use.

Its biggest advantage isn’t necessarily raw end-game damage.

It’s the combination of:

  • Huge AoE
  • Excellent farming potential
  • Useful mobility
  • Easy stat grinding

If you’re still working toward your first major stat milestones, Dark V2 is incredibly useful.

It’s one of those fruits that can remain valuable even after you’ve technically unlocked stronger options.

B-Tier — Serpent

Serpent is presented as one of the strongest fruits that can realistically be obtained during the earlier progression.

The guide places it above Dark when considering overall damage potential.

It’s particularly attractive because you can pursue it without needing the later end-game content required for some of the strongest fruits.

The relevant Serpent dungeon is the main source for obtaining it.

If you’ve already got Dark V2 and are looking for your next major fruit upgrade, Serpent is a logical target.

A-Tier — Okuchi

Okuchi is another powerful fruit, particularly when you’re interested in damage.

The guide considers it stronger than Dark overall, although there is an important caveat: some of its stronger progression is tied to later content.

For pure farming, Dark V2 can still be more convenient because of its AoE.

For damage-focused builds, however, Okuchi becomes much more attractive.

A-Tier — Final Hybrid Dragon

Final Hybrid Dragon is a significantly rarer option.

The guide says you’ll need to participate in the Gold Heist Raid across the First and Second Seas and use the relevant Golden Pirate system.

You’ll need things such as:

  • Golden Dice
  • Billionaire Ticket

to participate in the relevant rolling system.

The major problem is RNG.

Even after you’ve done all the required content, getting the desired final fruit isn’t guaranteed.

So this is a long-term farming target rather than something you should expect to obtain quickly.

S-Tier — Final Gear 5

At the top of the fruit ranking is Final Gear 5.

The guide describes this as a pay-to-win option tied to later content.

The associated bundle also provides access to Drums of Liberation, described in the video as the best artifact available at the time.

For players chasing maximum fruit-build performance, this is the end-game target presented by the tier list.

RE:AOPG Melee Tier List

Melee progression is slightly different because the early fighting styles are mainly there to get you started.

C-Tier — Starter Fighting Styles

The main beginner melee styles include:

  • Black Leg
  • Fishman Karate
  • Electro

These are all considered C-Tier in the guide.

They’re easy to obtain and are perfectly fine for a new character.

Black Leg

Black Leg can be obtained on Starter Island.

It can later be upgraded through stronger versions, eventually leading into more powerful variants such as Ifrit Jambé.

Fishman Karate

Fishman Karate is obtained on Fishman Island, located near the starting area.

It’s another straightforward Belly-based purchase.

Electro

Electro can be obtained on Sky Island.

Like the other starter styles, it’s mainly intended to help you get through the early game.

You don’t need to overthink your choice here.

Use whichever style is convenient, then upgrade once you have access to stronger options.

B-Tier — Sukuna

Once you’ve reached the Multiverse Sea, Sukuna becomes a much more interesting option.

It’s obtained through the relevant content around Jujutsu Island.

The guide places it in B-Tier.

For a mid-game player, this is a meaningful upgrade over the basic fighting styles.

A/S-Tier — Reincarnated Slime

The guide’s strongest melee recommendation is Reincarnated Slime, also referred to as the Rimuru style.

It’s obtained from the Slime Dungeon on Dawn Island in Multiverse Sea.

However, don’t expect this to be easy.

The boss has damage reduction, which means players with weak builds may struggle considerably.

Before attempting it, make sure you’ve built up:

  • Stats
  • Damage
  • A reliable fruit
  • Appropriate accessories
  • Haki upgrades

The reward is worth the effort, though.

The mode is stated to provide around 2.7x global damage, making it the strongest melee option highlighted in the guide.

RE:AOPG Gun Tier List

The gun section is considerably simpler.

Top Gun — Frost Bazooka

The main gun recommendation is Frost Bazooka.

The guide describes it as the best practical gun option currently available in the progression covered.

It can be obtained through the Summer Raid Gacha / chests.

So if you’re building around guns, this is the weapon you should be working toward rather than wasting resources collecting every weaker firearm.

Getting it ultimately comes down to farming the relevant content and hoping for the drop.

Best Progression Path for New Players

If you’re completely new to RE:AOPG, don’t immediately chase the S-Tier items.

You won’t have the stats or resources to farm them efficiently.

Instead, use this progression:

Early Game

Start with:

Dark V2 + Black Leg / Fishman Karate / Electro

Your goal is simply to build enough damage to farm efficiently.

Dark V2 is particularly useful because its AoE makes grinding much easier.

Mid Game

Once you’ve built your stats, start moving toward:

Serpent → Sukuna → stronger sword options

At this stage, you’re no longer just trying to survive.

You’re preparing for the content that unlocks the stronger builds.

Late Game

Once you’re established in the Multiverse Sea, start targeting:

  • Dragon Slayer
  • Reincarnated Slime
  • Okuchi
  • Frost Bazooka
  • Better accessories
  • Better Haki
  • Stronger races

These upgrades start making a significant difference to your overall damage.

End Game

Eventually, you can start working toward the highest-tier options:

  • Human Awakened sword build
  • Final Hybrid Dragon
  • Final Gear 5
  • Reincarnated Slime
  • Frost Bazooka
  • High-tier accessories
  • Strong race and title combinations

At this point, the game becomes much more about optimization than simply increasing your stats.

For a fresh player, the safest route is to build around Dark V2 first.

Get a basic melee style, increase your stats, unlock the important Haki upgrades and progress through the seas.

Once you’re strong enough, move toward Serpent or Okuchi for better fruit damage, Dragon Slayer for sword progression, Sukuna and eventually Reincarnated Slime for melee, and Frost Bazooka for your gun.

After that, you can worry about the truly expensive end-game options like Human Awakened builds, Final Hybrid Dragon and Final Gear 5.

That way, you’re not wasting time trying to obtain end-game equipment before your character is strong enough to farm it efficiently.
