If you’ve just unlocked Singularity in Revolution Idle, you’re about to enter one of the biggest progression systems in the game. At first, it can feel brutal because it resets a huge amount of your progress and adds heavy penalties. The good news is that once you understand how the system works, Singularity becomes one of the most rewarding mechanics in the entire game.
I remember being surprised the first time I triggered a Singularity. Seeing almost everything reset made me wonder if I’d made a mistake. Thankfully, that’s exactly how it’s supposed to work. The temporary setback quickly turns into long-term power once you start building your Singularity Multiplier, unlocking milestones, and collecting Singular Zodiacs.
This guide walks you through every stage of Singularity progression, from your very first reset all the way into the late-game grind.
Revolution Idle Singularity Guide – Best Path, Mult Farming
Singularity is a prestige layer that becomes available after purchasing Refine Node 121.
Unlike previous resets, Singularity introduces an entirely new progression system built around:
- Atoms
- Singularity Multiplier (Mult)
- Milestones
- Singularity Tree
- Singular Zodiacs (Houses)
Although performing a Singularity resets many parts of your account, the permanent bonuses you gain eventually make your future runs much faster.
Don’t Perform Your First Singularity Too Early
This is probably the biggest mistake new players make.
Before triggering your first Singularity, make sure you have approximately:
e17000 Tarot Resources
Starting earlier causes the Singularity penalties to hit much harder, making progression significantly slower than necessary.
Waiting a little longer saves hours of grinding later.
Understanding the Singularity Screen
The Singularity menu contains several different values, and knowing what each one does makes planning your runs much easier.
Mult
Mult is your base Atom gain multiplier.
As it increases, your Atom generation becomes much faster, allowing future Singularity runs to finish more quickly.
Think of this as your long-term investment.
Buffs & Penalties
These activate automatically once you reach specific Atom milestones during your current run.
Some effects increase resource generation, while others temporarily reduce various stats until milestones remove those penalties.
Total
Total combines every multiplier listed under the “On Next Singularity” section.
One important thing to remember:
Total does not directly increase your Multiplier.
Instead, it determines how much Mult you’ll earn after performing the next Singularity.
Next Sing Award
This value shows how much Mult you’ll receive after resetting.
One interesting mechanic is that the higher your current Mult becomes, the smaller each individual increase gets.
In other words, every Mult upgrade becomes a little harder to earn over time.
Milestones
Milestones unlock immediately after your first Singularity.
These include:
- Singularity Count milestones
- Atom milestones
- Progression milestones
The Progression Milestones are especially important because they begin as powerful debuffs.
Once you’ve completed all of them, those penalties disappear permanently.
Effects
Effects provide passive bonuses based on several factors, including:
- Current Mult
- Current Atom count
- Total Singularity count
More Effects unlock naturally as you progress through milestones and the Refine Tree.
Singularity Tree
The Singularity Tree provides permanent upgrades that improve your progression.
Some nodes increase:
- Mult gain
- Penalty reduction
- Unity resources
- General progression speed
You’ll spend much more time here once you reach the mid-game.
Houses (Singular Zodiacs)
Later in progression you’ll unlock Houses.
These work similarly to normal Zodiac cards, except every Zodiac has its own dedicated slot.
Some important things to remember:
- Only one version of each Zodiac can be equipped.
- Better versions replace weaker ones.
- Divine rarity Zodiacs gain two fixed stats instead of one.
Collecting stronger Singular Zodiacs becomes a major source of late-game progression.
Your First Few Singularities
Your very first Singularity is probably the roughest one.
Several major systems are reset, including:
- Plague
- Special Minerals
- Artifacts
- Tarot Cards
- Element Nodes
On top of that, significant progression penalties are applied.
Don’t panic.
This is completely normal.
Meet Your New Resource: Atoms
After your first Singularity you’ll begin generating Atoms, shown in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Atoms are required for every future Singularity.
To perform another reset, you’ll eventually need:
1.8e308 Atoms
Reaching this number becomes the goal of every Singularity run.
Focus on Progression Milestones First
Before worrying about anything else, concentrate entirely on completing the Progression Milestones.
These milestones gradually remove the harsh penalties introduced by Singularity.
Until they’re finished, every run feels slower than it should.
By the time you reach roughly 4 Singularities, you should aim to complete the final Progression Milestone.
Doing so permanently removes those early-game debuffs and makes every future run dramatically smoother.
Progression Between Singularities 4–20
Once the penalties disappear, progression becomes much more straightforward.
At this point your objective is simple:
- Continue farming Singularities.
- Build your Singularity Count.
- Unlock passive mechanics along the way.
You’ll begin unlocking new systems like:
- Effects
- Singularity Tree
However, don’t spend too much time optimizing them yet.
For now, simply continue progressing until you reach 20 Singularities.
Singularities 20–32
This is where the game starts slowing down.
Many players suddenly feel stuck around Singularity 20 because Atom growth begins to plateau.
There are three possible ways to push forward.
1. Upgrade Your Tree
Your highest priority should be:
- Tree Node 3.1
- Tree Node 3.2
These significantly improve your long-term farming efficiency.
2. Push More Singularities
You can simply continue earning more Singularity resets.
While this works, it’s usually the slowest approach.
3. Farm More Mult (Recommended)
Most experienced players consider this the fastest method.
Instead of long runs, repeatedly perform quick Singularities.
The strategy is simple:
- Reach 1.8e308 Atoms.
- Perform a Singularity immediately.
- Repeat.
These rapid resets steadily increase your Mult, which permanently boosts future Atom generation.
Even if you’re focusing on Tree upgrades, your Mult should always continue increasing in the background.
Goals Before Singularity 32
Before reaching your 32nd Singularity, try to complete these objectives:
- Reach approximately x100 Mult
- Finish every Queen Tarot Challenge
- Continue improving your Tree
Completing these goals makes the next stage much easier.
Singularities 32+ (Late Game)
Singularity 32 unlocks one of the game’s biggest progression systems:
Houses
This introduces Singular Zodiacs.
Whenever you perform a Singularity while holding at least e1000 Atoms, you’ll receive a Singular Zodiac—even if your total Singularity count doesn’t increase.
Each Zodiac has its own permanent slot.
Whenever you obtain a stronger version of an existing Zodiac, simply replace the weaker copy.
Over time these bonuses become surprisingly powerful.
Complete the Star Tarot Challenge Early
As soon as Houses become available, focus on clearing the Star Tarot Challenge.
This challenge depends heavily on luck, and progressing further doesn’t significantly improve your odds.
Because of that, it’s usually best to complete it as early as possible.
The Luck bonus it provides also makes farming high-quality Singular Zodiacs much easier.
When to Attempt the Moon Challenge
After completing Star, move on to the Moon Challenge.
Completion time depends heavily on your Mult.
A rough guideline looks like this:
| Mult | Estimated Completion Time |
|---|---|
| x103 | Around 24 hours |
| x300 | Around 18 hours |
| x3700 | Around 9–10 hours |
The higher your Mult, the less painful this challenge becomes.
Continue Improving Your Account
Once your first Singular Zodiacs are collected, return to your normal progression loop.
Continue working on:
- Refine Nodes
- Elements
- Additional Singularities
- Tree upgrades
- Higher Mult
Everything now feeds back into making future runs faster.
King Challenge Recommendations
As your Mult continues growing, you’ll gradually unlock the remaining King Tarot Challenges.
A good progression route is:
Around x250 Mult
Attempt:
- King of Cups
After Unlocking Pisces Zodiac
Farm your Mult to roughly x750, then complete:
- King of Swords (around x500)
- King of Wands (around x750)
You can wait longer, but the extra Mult generally doesn’t reduce challenge time enough to justify delaying them.
King of Pentacles
This is the biggest hurdle.
Recommended Mult values:
- Minimum: x2900
- Comfortable: x3500
- Very smooth: x4200+
At around x4225 Mult, the challenge becomes much more manageable, especially if your Mineral level is around 80.
Best Tree Nodes to Prioritise
During the late game, two parts of your Tree deserve most of your attention.
Node 6.1
This is arguably the strongest late-game node.
It dramatically increases how much Mult you gain after each Singularity, making every future reset more rewarding.
Nodes 3.1 and 3.2
These remain valuable throughout the game.
They improve both Tree farming and Zodiac progression, making them worthwhile long after unlocking them.
The Late-Game Farming Loop
Eventually, progression slows considerably.
At this point, your gameplay becomes a cycle of improving several systems together.
A typical loop looks like this:
- Farm Mult through quick Singularities.
- Spend resources upgrading the Tree.
- Improve Singular Zodiacs.
- Push additional Singularity counts.
- Repeat.
Every cycle strengthens your account just enough to make the next one faster.
It may feel slow compared to the early game, but this steady progression is exactly how the Singularity system is designed.
Singularity can feel intimidating the first time you unlock it, especially after watching so much progress disappear in a single reset. Fortunately, that initial pain doesn’t last long. Once you’ve cleared the early Progression Milestones, the system becomes one of the most satisfying parts of Revolution Idle.
If you’re ever unsure what to do next, remember a simple priority order:
- Don’t rush your first Singularity.
- Remove the early progression penalties.
- Reach 20 Singularities.
- Farm Mult with quick resets.
- Prioritise Tree Nodes 3.1, 3.2, and eventually 6.1.
- Unlock Houses and begin collecting Singular Zodiacs.
- Increase your Mult while clearing the King and Tarot challenges.
Stick to that progression path, and you’ll steadily move through one of the game’s biggest late-game systems without wasting unnecessary time or resources.
