Roblox Crime Scene Investigation Chapter 2 Walkthrough

If you’re stuck on Chapter 2 of Crime Scene Investigation on Roblox, don’t worry — this case is a little sneaky because the game gives you pieces of evidence that only really make sense once you connect them together.

You need to solve four questions to complete the case. I’ll walk you through where to look, what each clue means, and, most importantly, which answer to enter. I’ll also explain the secret passage because that’s the part that can easily throw you off.

Let’s solve the case from the beginning.

Roblox Crime Scene Investigation Chapter 2 Walkthrough Guide – All Answers

There are four answers you need to submit:

  • Who killed Charles? — Lucien
  • What was the motive for the killing? — Blackmail
  • Who was the first to arrive at the crime scene? — The Housekeeper
  • How did the killer enter the library undetected? — Through the Secret Passage

The important part is that these answers aren’t just random guesses. The evidence around the house explains exactly why each one is correct.

1. Who Killed Charles in Chapter 2?

Start by heading upstairs to Lucien’s room.

Once you’re there, look for the note that is signed CD. CD stands for Charles Dubois, the victim in this case.

Read the note carefully because this is one of the biggest clues in Chapter 2.

The note is essentially a blackmailing letter from Charles to Lucien. Charles is putting pressure on Lucien, which gives Lucien a very obvious reason to want Charles out of the picture.

But there’s another clue nearby that makes the situation even more suspicious.

The Note to Etienne

You’ll also find a note addressed to Etienne, who is Charles’ father.

This note appears to concern Lucien’s betting habits. Charles had apparently informed his father about Lucien’s gambling, and that information had consequences.

This becomes important when you investigate the safe.

2. Safe Code and the Will Evidence

Before you can properly investigate the safe and painting, you may need to complete the relevant interrogation/evidence requirements first.

Once the area is unlocked, you can access the safe.

The safe code is:

1200

Enter 1200 into the safe and check the documents inside.

You’ll find an older version of the will showing that Lucien was originally supposed to receive around 25% of his father’s property, with no major restrictions attached.

That sounds pretty good for Lucien.

But then take a look at the more recent version of the will.

Things have changed.

Lucien’s share has been reduced to just 5%, and there are also several restrictions attached to his inheritance.

Why?

His betting habits are the obvious reason, and Charles appears to have played a role in making his father aware of those habits.

So now we have several pieces of evidence pointing in the same direction:

  • Charles was blackmailing Lucien.
  • Charles exposed Lucien’s betting habits to his father.
  • Lucien’s inheritance was drastically reduced.
  • Lucien therefore had a strong reason to be angry with Charles.

Put all of that together, and the answer becomes pretty clear.

Answer: Who killed Charles?

Lucien

Enter Lucien as the answer.

If you submit it correctly, you should see that only three answers remain incorrect.

Now we can move on to the motive.

3. What Was the Motive for Killing Charles?

This one is much easier once you’ve read the letter in Lucien’s room.

Charles was blackmailing Lucien.

The letter is the key evidence here, while the information about Lucien’s betting gives the blackmail a little more context.

Charles had information that could cause serious problems for Lucien, especially after his father learned about his gambling.

So the motive you want is:

Answer: What was the motive for the killing?

Blackmail

Submit that answer and you should now have only two incorrect answers remaining.

That means we’re halfway through the case.

4. Who Was the First to Arrive at the Crime Scene?

For this question, head over to the Interrogations section.

You may need to collect enough evidence before all of the relevant interrogation questions become available. If you’ve already completed those requirements, you can go straight to the housekeeper’s interrogation.

Look for the question asking whether she was the first person to see the body.

The housekeeper confirms that she was.

She explains that she was tidying things up at around 8:47 when she discovered the dead body.

That makes her the first person to arrive and discover Charles.

Answer: Who was the first to arrive at the crime scene?

Housekeeper

Make sure you spell the answer correctly when entering it. This is one of those situations where having the right idea isn’t enough if the game expects a specific name or wording.

Once you submit it, you should have just one answer left.

And unfortunately, this final question is the trickiest one.

5. How Did the Killer Enter the Library Undetected?

The question asks:

How did the killer enter the library undetected?

At first, the evidence outside the house can make you think the killer used a window.

There are footprints around the outside, a ladder, and even a broken window. If you follow those clues, it’s pretty easy to assume Lucien climbed around the outside of the house and entered through the window.

That theory isn’t completely useless, but it isn’t the full story.

The actual answer involves a secret passage.

6. Find the Shed Key in Isabel’s Room

First, you need to get access to the shed.

Head to Isabel’s room and look around for the shed key.

If you’ve already picked it up, you obviously won’t see it again in your inventory location.

Once you have the key, head outside to the shed.

7. Investigate the Shed

Enter the shed and interact with the power box.

You’ll find that the power needs something before you can properly activate it.

This is where the investigation starts connecting to another hidden area of the house.

Instead of continuing to search randomly around the outside, go back inside and take another look at the map.

The map gives you a very useful clue.

8. Find the Secret Passage in the Office

Look at the map and you’ll notice a hidden-looking area marked around the house.

Now head to the office.

Once you’re inside the office, look around the area near the plug.

There is a hidden button behind it.

Interact with the button.

After you press it, the bookshelf begins to move. It can take a little while, so don’t assume you’ve done something wrong if it doesn’t move immediately.

Give it a moment.

Eventually, the bookshelf reveals a secret passage.

And this is the missing piece of the entire murder mystery.

9. How Lucien Actually Reached the Library

The secret passage connects the office to the library, which is where Charles’ body was discovered.

Now think back to Lucien’s interrogation.

When asked where he was at the time of the murder, Lucien claimed that he was in his father’s office.

Normally, that might sound like an alibi.

But now we know there was a hidden route connecting the office directly to the library.

So Lucien could remain in the office, use the secret passage to reach the library, kill Charles, and return without having to walk through the normal parts of the house.

That explains how the killer could enter the library without being noticed.

It also explains why simply looking at the footprints and broken window can lead you in the wrong direction.

Answer: How did the killer enter the library undetected?

Through the Secret Passage

That’s the final answer you need.

Chapter 2 Final Answers

Once you’ve followed all the clues, your four answers should be:

  1. Who killed Charles?Lucien
  2. What was the motive for the killing?Blackmail
  3. Who was the first to arrive at the crime scene?Housekeeper
  4. How did the killer enter the library undetected?Secret Passage

Submit the reader report after entering all four answers.

And that’s Chapter 2 solved.

A Quick Look at the Whole Mystery

The fun part of this chapter is that the game doesn’t hand you the solution immediately. You have to connect several seemingly unrelated clues.

Charles was blackmailing Lucien and had also informed his father about Lucien’s betting habits. Lucien then lost most of his expected inheritance and was left with only a small, restricted share.

That gives Lucien a strong motive.

Then there is his alibi. He claimed to be in his father’s office during the murder, but the secret passage completely changes how that statement should be viewed.

The hidden route connects the office directly to the library, meaning Lucien could leave the office, reach Charles, commit the murder, and return without being seen.

Meanwhile, the housekeeper was the first person to discover the body at around 8:47.

Once you put those clues together, the case finally makes sense.

Lucien killed Charles, the motive was blackmail, the housekeeper discovered the body first, and Lucien used the secret passage to reach the library undetected.
