If you are playing the Tunnels map in Roblox Escape Room and have gotten stuck on one of the puzzles, this walkthrough will help you get through the entire room. I will take you through each puzzle in order, including the random cipher, TNT section, projector code, bottle puzzle, and final pipe challenge.
Keep in mind that some of the puzzles are randomized, so your exact codes and certain symbols may be different from mine. I will explain how to solve them rather than simply giving you answers that may not work in your game.
Roblox Escape Room Tunnels Walkthrough – Location, Puzzle
Start by pressing the button in the first area.
Once you press it, a set of secret stairs will appear and lead you downstairs.
Head down the stairs because this is where you will find the first important item.
Find the Hammer
Look for the lower drawer in the area downstairs.
The drawer can be a little difficult to open, but keep interacting with it until you can access it and collect the hammer.
Once you have the hammer, use it to break the glass nearby.
Breaking the glass gives you access to the next section of the room.
Solve the Random Cipher Puzzle
After breaking the glass, you will find a cipher that needs to be decoded using the nearby poster.
This puzzle is randomized, so the words and the final code can be different for every player.
In the walkthrough example, the symbols correspond to:
- Floor
- Grass
- Circle
- Ceiling
However, do not assume these will be your words. Use the poster to identify what each symbol represents in your own game.
The important part is that the cipher tells you what objects to look for around the room.
Find the Digits
Once you know the words from your cipher, go around the map and find the corresponding objects.
For example, if your first word is Floor, inspect the floor for its hidden digit.
If the second word is Grass, count the pieces of grass shown around the area.
If your third word is Circle, count all the circles.
Finally, if your fourth word refers to the ceiling, look at the ceiling and use the Braille poster to decode the symbol.
In the example from the walkthrough:
- Floor gives 5
- Grass gives 7
- Circles give 6
- The Braille symbol gives 6
The example code is therefore:
576066
Your code will probably be different, so make sure you solve your own clues.
Use the TNT
After solving the cipher, collect the TNT.
Take it to the designated location and place it there.
Once the TNT is positioned correctly, ignite it and move back to a safe distance.
Wait for the explosion to finish.
Afterward, the newly opened area will become accessible.
Activate the Projector
Go into the new area and pull the lever on the speller.
This activates the projector and reveals hidden digits.
Look carefully at the words displayed by the projector. The digits are hidden within the different lines.
In the example, the numbers are:
- First line: 4
- Second line: 2
- Third line: 5
- Fourth line: 1
This gives the code:
4251
Enter 4251 into the nearby keypad.
If your puzzle generates different numbers, use the digits shown by your own projector.
Get the Key
Entering the correct code opens the case.
Inside the case, you will find a key.
Take the key and use it on the nearby locked door.
This will give you access to the next section of the Tunnels map.
Solve the Ceiling Beam and Glass Puzzle
In the next room, you will find two drawers in the bar or kitchen area.
A clue tells you to compare the beams on the ceiling with the upside-down glasses.
These two parts are connected, so you need to use the ceiling beams to determine which glasses should be selected.
Look at the glasses and identify which ones are white.
In the walkthrough example, the white glasses are:
7 and 9
The other glasses are red.
Again, this puzzle is randomized, so the colors and positions can be different in your game.
Set the Correct Glasses
Once you have identified the white glasses in your own game, rotate or select the corresponding glasses.
For the example, the seventh and ninth glasses need to be set to white.
If you have entered the correct combination, the mechanism will turn green and the cabinet will open.
Inside, you will receive a table edge clue.
Solve the Bottle Puzzle
Take the table edge clue and use it to determine the order of the bottles.
Start from the left side, because the clue indicates that the first digit is on the left and the last digit is on the right.
Now compare the bottles shown on the clue with the bottles on the table.
In the walkthrough example, the matching bottles produce:
- Green bottle → 1
- Large orange bottle → 0
- Another matching orange bottle → 5
- Bloxy Cola → 8
- White bottle → 4
This gives:
10584
However, the lock only requires four digits.
To determine which number to remove, start from the left and ignore the bottle with the least juice.
In the example, the final bottle has the least juice, so the 4 is removed.
The resulting code is:
1058
Enter the correct four-digit code into the lock.
If the bottle arrangement is randomized in your game, carefully match your own bottles and follow the same process.
Enter the Tunnel Area
Once you enter the correct bottle code, the door will open.
Walk through it and continue into the tunnel section.
Keep moving forward until you reach the subway or metro area.
This is where you will find the final puzzle.
Solve the 58% Flow Rate Puzzle
At the end of the tunnel, look for the sticky note that says:
58% flow rate
Your goal is to adjust the pipes until the combined flow rate reaches exactly 58%.
The pipes can be rotated to change their individual flow rates.
In the walkthrough example, the solution is:
- First pipe: Rotate it 4 times to reach 100%
- Second pipe: Rotate it 2 times
- Third pipe: Rotate it 3 times
After adjusting the pipes, the combined flow rate reaches:
58%
Once the display reaches 58%, the mechanism will activate and the final area will open.
Escape the Tunnels
With the flow rate set correctly, walk through the newly opened area.
Continue forward and you will reach the exit.
That completes the Tunnels map in Roblox Escape Room.
