Sir, We Have an Orc Problem Achievement Guide v1.0

If you’re aiming for 100% achievements in Sir, We Have an Orc Problem, several challenges require clearing stages with strict tower limitations. While some achievements demand careful tower placement, most become much easier once you’ve unlocked most of the Tech Tree upgrades.

This guide covers every challenge introduced in Version 1.0, including the easiest tower combinations and strategies to complete them.

Sir, We Have an Orc Problem Achievement Guide (Release v1.0)

The release version includes the following challenge achievements:

  • Stage 1.1 – Survive using only one tower type and no abilities.
  • Stage 2.1 – Survive without building any towers.
  • Stage 3.1 – Survive using only one tower type and no abilities.
  • Stage 4.1 – Survive using only Flamethrowers, Tesla Coils, and Cryo Beam.
  • Stage 5.1 – Survive using only three tower types and no abilities.
  • Stage 6.1 – Survive using only four tower types and no abilities.
  • Deal 666,000 damage with a single Nuke.

Stage 1.1 Achievement

Challenge: Survive using only a single tower type without abilities.

Recommended Tower

  • Laser

The Laser is one of the easiest options thanks to its long range and beam bouncing. Properly positioned Lasers can repeatedly hit Orcs travelling through narrow paths, making the challenge relatively straightforward.

If your upgrades are sufficiently high, Machine Guns or Flamethrowers can also complete this challenge, but Lasers are generally the most consistent choice.

Stage 2.1 Achievement

Challenge: Complete the level without building any towers.

Unlike the other challenges, this one relies entirely on your active abilities.

Any combination of the following can clear the stage:

  • Missile Launcher
  • Air Strafe
  • Nuke
  • Cryo Beam

Good timing and ability management are more important than any specific strategy, so experiment with whichever abilities you have upgraded the most.

Stage 3.1 Achievement

Challenge: Survive using only one tower type and no abilities.

Recommended Tower

  • Flamethrower

High-level Flamethrowers provide enough sustained damage to clear the stage on their own. Their continuous area damage makes them particularly effective against clustered Orcs, allowing them to handle the challenge with minimal support.

Stage 4.1 Achievement

Challenge: Only Flamethrowers, Tesla Coils, and Cryo Beam may be used.

Recommended Towers

  • Flamethrowers
  • Tesla Coils

This is one of the easier challenge stages.

Place Flamethrowers near the front to weaken incoming Orcs, then position Tesla Coils behind them to eliminate anything that survives. The Tesla’s chain lightning and crowd control make it an excellent cleanup option.

Although Cryo Beam is allowed, it’s rarely required. Use it only if a large group is about to break through your defenses.

Stage 5.1 Achievement

Challenge: Survive using only three tower types without abilities.

Recommended Towers

  • Flamethrower
  • Tesla Coil
  • Laser

Laser placement is the most important part of this challenge.

Use bouncing Laser beams to cover long sections of the map while Flamethrowers increase damage dealt to affected enemies. Tesla Coils should be positioned near the end of enemy paths to clean up surviving Orcs.

Unlocking the Flamethrower’s damage amplification upgrade in the Tech Tree significantly improves the consistency of this strategy.

Because enemy movement contains some randomness, you may need a few attempts before everything lines up perfectly.

Stage 6.1 Achievement

Challenge: Survive using only four tower types without abilities.

Recommended Towers

  • Flamethrower
  • Smoke Grenade
  • Tesla Coil
  • Laser

This is one of the most difficult achievement challenges in the game.

Success depends on building an efficient Laser bounce setup while using Smoke Grenades to slow enemy movement and keep Orcs inside your damage zones for as long as possible.

Tesla Coils should remain behind your frontline to eliminate escaped enemies, while Flamethrowers increase overall damage against clustered waves.

If your first attempt fails, try adjusting the Smoke Grenade placement rather than rebuilding your entire defense.

Deal 666,000 Damage with One Nuke

One of the more unusual achievements requires a single Nuke to deal at least 666,000 damage.

The easiest method is to gather a massive number of enemies before using the ability.

Strategy

  1. Choose any map with a long enemy path.
  2. Create a continuous wall using Cryo Beam to freeze enemies near the spawn point.
  3. Continue freezing enemies until your fuel is depleted, allowing a huge crowd to build up.
  4. Before the Cryo Beam expires, drop a Nuke directly onto the frozen horde.

Even a Level 1 Nuke can exceed 666,000 damage when enough Orcs are trapped together.

Tips for Completing Every Achievement

  • Unlock as much of the Tech Tree as possible before attempting the harder challenges.
  • Tesla Coils are excellent cleanup towers and fit into almost every achievement strategy.
  • Flamethrowers provide valuable damage amplification and pair well with nearly every damage tower.
  • Laser placement is critical—small adjustments can dramatically change how often beams bounce through enemy waves.
  • Don’t be discouraged if Stages 5.1 or 6.1 take multiple attempts, as enemy behaviour introduces a degree of randomness.

With a well-upgraded Tech Tree and careful tower placement, every achievement in Sir, We Have an Orc Problem can be completed without requiring perfect gameplay or flawless runs.
