The Skycrest island is one of the biggest additions in the latest Fisch update, but getting there isn’t quite as simple as sailing to another normal island. Since Skycrest is floating high above the water, you’ll need to use the right route or equipment to reach it.
The easiest method is to travel through Fishfest Island and then use a flying boat to go directly toward Skycrest. If you don’t have the required boat, though, you can still make the trip by using the underwater route and swimming upward.
I’ve broken down both methods below so you can reach Skycrest without wasting time trying to figure out where the island is.
Skycrest Location & How to Reach It in Fisch Roblox
Skycrest is a large floating island located above the water near the Fishfest area.
You won’t find it sitting at sea level like the regular Fisch islands. After traveling through Fishfest Island, you can see the outline of Skycrest in the distance.
The first part of the journey is the same regardless of which method you use.
How to Reach Skycrest from Moosewood
Start your journey at Moosewood.
Follow these steps:
- Go to the large shell in Moosewood.
- Enter the shell to travel to Fishfest Island.
- Once you arrive, head toward the Merchant.
- Keep moving toward the far end of the map.
- Look into the distance for the outline of Skycrest.
Once you can see the floating island, you’ll need to choose how you’re going to get up there.
Method 1: Use the Flying Boat
The easiest way to reach Skycrest is by using the Glor Saucer.
This special boat can fly, making it much easier to reach the floating island directly.
If you already own the Glor Saucer, this is the method I’d recommend. Sail toward Skycrest and use the boat’s flying ability to reach the island without having to deal with the underwater route.
Why Use Glor Saucer?
The main advantage is convenience.
Instead of swimming upward through the water, you can simply fly toward the floating island and reach Skycrest much more directly.
Method 2: Swim Up to Skycrest
Don’t have the Glor Saucer? You can still reach Skycrest.
After getting to the area where you can see the island, use the water route and swim upward toward it.
This route takes more effort, but it works if you have the right equipment.
The Tidebreaker is particularly useful for this method because it helps with moving through the water.
Gear for the Underwater Route
If you’re going to swim up to Skycrest, I’d recommend bringing:
- Tidebreaker
- Flippers
- Diving Gear
The extra equipment makes the underwater journey much easier.
Diving Gear is especially useful because you’ll be spending more time underwater and don’t want to run out of oxygen before reaching the island.
Flippers can also make moving through the water more comfortable and help speed up the journey.
How to Get to Skycrest Without a Flying Boat
If you don’t have the Glor Saucer, the route is:
Moosewood → Fishfest Island → Merchant → Far end of the map → Swim upward → Skycrest
Equip your underwater gear, head toward the island, and continue swimming upward until you reach Skycrest.
It takes longer than using the flying boat, but you don’t need to own the Glor Saucer to access the new area.
The easiest route is to start at Moosewood, enter the large shell to reach Fishfest Island, and then travel toward the Merchant and the far end of the map.
Once you can see Skycrest, you have two options:
Glor Saucer: Fly directly to the floating island.
No Glor Saucer: Use the underwater route with the Tidebreaker, Flippers, and Diving Gear, then swim upward toward Skycrest.
Once you finally reach the island, you can start exploring all of the new Skycrest content, including the fishing areas, quests, Idol Favor progression, Charms, and other activities added in the update.
