The new Sand Glove is one of the main additions in this update, and you’ll need the Estival Heatwave badge before you can equip it.
Here are its basic stats:
- Power: 53
- Speed: 15
- Ability: Beach Day
- Ability Key: E
- Requirement: Estival Heatwave badge
The glove is pretty easy to spot in the glove selection area, but if you try to equip it before earning the required badge, you won’t be able to use it.
So, the real question is: how do you get the Estival Heatwave badge?
How to Get the Estival Heatwave Badge in Slap Battles
Getting the badge is tied to a small hidden activity in the new update. You’ll need to find the Four Seasons book first, which eventually leads you to the mini-game where the badge can be earned.
Start by heading down into the main area of the game. From there, make your way behind the area where the book is supposed to appear.
You’re looking for a small Four Seasons book.
The exact location can be a little confusing because the book may not immediately appear in every situation. During the update showcase, it wasn’t showing up in a private server, so if you can’t find it, don’t immediately assume you’re in the wrong place.
Trying a public server is a good idea.
Find the Four Seasons Book
Once you’re in the right server, head behind the main area and look for the Four Seasons book.
When the book is available, interact with it.
This will reveal a tree with a portal.
And yep, this is where things get interesting.
Go through the portal and you’ll be taken to a separate mini-game area. You’ll need to complete the mini-game rather than simply walking through the portal and leaving.
Complete the Mini-Game to Unlock the Badge
After entering the portal, you’ll be taken to the new mini-game connected to the Sand Glove.
Your goal is simply to complete the mini-game.
Once you successfully finish it, you’ll receive the Estival Heatwave badge. That badge is the important part because it also unlocks access to the new Sand Glove.
So the basic path is:
Four Seasons Book → Tree → Portal → Mini-Game → Estival Heatwave Badge → Sand Glove
Once you have the badge, head back to the glove selection area and you should be able to equip the Sand Glove.
How to Get the Sand Glove
You don’t have to separately complete another challenge for the Sand Glove.
The important requirement is owning the Estival Heatwave badge.
After earning it, return to the glove area and look for Sand. The glove has 53 Power and 15 Speed, with its Beach Day ability activated using E.
So if you’ve already completed the badge challenge, you’re basically done. Just equip the glove and start testing out the new ability.

Enter it through the game’s code menu to claim the available rewards.
