Slayers 2 has several breathing styles that you can unlock and use in combat, but finding their trainers can be a little confusing when you’re exploring the map. In this guide, I’ll show you where to find the breathing trainers and explain the moves showcased in the video.
I’ll start with Serpent Breathing and Sound Breathing, then move on to Stone, Thunder, Wind, Water, Insect, and Flame Breathing. I’ll explain the directions using recognizable locations, mountains, houses, bridges, and other landmarks so you can follow along more easily.
Slayers 2 Breathing Locations Guide – How to Find All
Some trainers are hidden in dark areas, behind houses, or at the top of mountains. You may also need to climb walls, manage your stamina, or collect specific items before you can learn a breathing style.
Let’s get into the locations and move showcases for each breathing style in Slayers 2.
Serpent Breathing Location
To find Serpent Breathing, start from the starter area and head toward the location near Mother Bear. You can also travel toward Easy Wake by going straight over the mountain.
Continue up the mountain until you find the Serpent trainer, Oari. He will ask you for Beast Cores or Beast Horns.
The trainer is located near the route used to reach Sound Breathing, so you can visit both locations during the same journey.
Sound Breathing Location
From the Serpent Breathing trainer, continue straight down the path toward Sound Breathing. Follow the route until you reach the gates, then keep moving upward.
Once you reach the upper area, you will see Tengen. From there, head straight down to the right. When you find Tengen’s trainee, you know you’re getting close to the destination.
Continue upward until you reach the wall. This section can be difficult to navigate because the area is very dark. Keep moving straight down until you reach the ocean, where you’ll find a large rock.
How to Reach the Sound Trainer
You’ll need to climb the large rock and several platforms to reach the hidden trainer.
- Climb onto the large rock near the ocean.
- Move to the side and turn around to find the climbing route.
- Use a boost to reach the first platform.
- Wait for your stamina to recover before climbing again.
- Climb the next two platforms.
- Continue toward the top, then move around to the hidden area.
- Climb one final section to reach the trainer.
The Sound Breathing trainer, Kenan, is hiding at the bottom of the upper area. He will ask you for 10 Demon Horns.
Serpent Breathing Showcase
Serpent Breathing has several moves, including attacks that launch enemies into the air, grab them, and deal multiple slashes.
Serpent Slash
Serpent Slash launches your character into the air before striking downward. The attack also performs multiple slashes, making it a useful offensive move.
Coil Choke
Coil Choke begins with a barrage before transitioning into a grab attack. If you hold the move for long enough, it can also break an opponent’s block.
The grab animation allows you to catch the enemy and slam them into the ground.
Venom Fangs
Venom Fangs is an uptilt move that launches enemies into the air. After using it, you can follow up with M1 attacks while the opponent is airborne.
Twin Headed Reptile
Twin Headed Reptile turns around before striking the enemy. The move looks impressive, but it is not a block breaker, so don’t rely on it to break an opponent’s guard.
Slythering Serpent
Slythering Serpent is the ultimate move of Serpent Breathing. The showcase demonstrates the attack after the cooldown finishes.
Sound Breathing Showcase
Sound Breathing includes attacks with different effects, including a move that changes depending on whether you tap or hold the button.
Bursting Bloom
Bursting Bloom sends an attack straight downward. The showcase demonstrates the move’s basic effect.
Roar
Roar is a block-breaking attack. It can be used to put pressure on opponents who are guarding.
Exploding Beads
Exploding Beads has two different variants.
The first version launches the attack normally. However, if you hold the move down, it stays in the air instead of immediately disappearing. You can keep it there until you press the C key or the button assigned to the move again.
This gives the attack an additional use during combat and allows you to control when the effect ends.
Resounding Slashes
Resounding Slashes is the fourth move in the Sound Breathing moveset. The showcase demonstrates the attack against an opponent.
String Performance
String Performance is the ultimate move of Sound Breathing. The video shows the move’s animation and effect during the showcase.
Stone Breathing Location
To find Stone Breathing, start from Orodaki’s house. If you don’t know where the house is, travel from the Mother Bear area and go straight from the waterfall.
Cross the bridge near the house and continue along the path. There are two possible routes you can take, including a route from the Mother Bear area.
For the route shown in the video, continue forward and head toward the more enclosed area. Stone Breathing is not located directly on a mountain like some of the other breathing styles.
Follow the path until you reach a temple. Continue upward and climb the nearby area if needed.
Stone Breathing Trainer
The Stone Breathing trainer is Gome. You can find him in the same general area as the Stone trainee.
To learn Stone Breathing, you need the Mason Axe. The Mason Axe is dropped by the Stone trainee, who is located next to the trainer.
The Stone trainer is also near Zenitsu’s location, making it easier to recognize the area once you reach it.
Stone Breathing Showcase
Stone Breathing has five moves:
- Volcanic Conquest
- Seismic Burst
- Upper Smash
- Stonewall
- Arcs of Justice
Stonewall has two different variants, while the other moves are shown in their normal forms.
Volcanic Conquest
Volcanic Conquest can be held down to perform its attack. The showcase demonstrates the held version of the move.
Seismic Burst
Seismic Burst allows you to strike the opponent by holding the move down. However, the attack can be perfect blocked, so you need to be careful when using it against an opponent who is ready to counter.
Upper Smash
Upper Smash is a two-hit move. The attack strikes the opponent and then sends another hit toward the ground, making it useful as a combo ender.
Stonewall
Stonewall has two variants.
The first version activates when you hold the move down. Your character swings, grabs the opponent, and throws them onto the ground.
The second version activates when you tap the move. Instead of grabbing the opponent, it hits them with a wall.
Arcs of Justice
Arcs of Justice is the ultimate move of Stone Breathing. The showcase demonstrates the attack being used against an opponent.
Thunder Breathing Location
To find Thunder Breathing, start from Orodaki’s house, which is located near the Mother Bear area.
Go down the waterfall and travel toward the bridge. You will know you’re heading in the right direction when you begin seeing a large number of bamboo plants.
Continue straight through the bamboo area until you reach the large mountains. You need to climb one of these mountains to reach the trainer.
How to Reach the Thunder Trainer
- Continue straight through the bamboo area.
- Approach the large mountains.
- Choose the mountain shown in the route.
- Start climbing while keeping an eye on your stamina.
- Wait for your stamina to recover before continuing.
- Use double jumps and climb the next sections.
- Continue until you reach the top.
Once you reach the top of the mountain, you’ll find Zintaro, the Thunder Breathing trainer and Zenitsu’s grandfather.
The video focuses on reaching the trainer’s location, while the full move showcase is not included in the provided section.
Wind Breathing Location
To find Wind Breathing, start from Tengen’s spawn location. From there, turn left and look for the waterfall.
Follow the route downward and continue toward the secret area. The trainer is hidden away from the main path, so you need to travel down to the lower section.
Wind Breathing Trainer
Continue down the route until you find the hidden location. The Wind Breathing trainer is Sauner.
The video shows the route from Tengen’s spawn location to the secret spot where the trainer can be found.
Water Breathing Location
Water Breathing is located near the house of the Water Breathing trainer, Orodaki.
You can start from the Mother Bear area or the starter area. From there, jump off the cliff near the water and continue straight.
You will know you’re heading in the correct direction when you reach the bridge.
How to Enter the Water Trainer’s House
Follow the path toward the house. Orodaki is inside, but you may be able to interact with the trainer by getting close to the building.
If that doesn’t work, there is a secret entrance underneath the house.
- Go to the water near the house.
- Find the small opening below the building.
- Swim downward through the hole.
- Follow the underwater route to enter the house.
- Find Orodaki inside.
The video demonstrates both the possible interaction method and the secret underwater entrance.
Insect Breathing Location
To find Insect Breathing, start from the starter village and head straight down the path.
The Insect Breathing trainer is located at the Slayer Corps. You can take a route around the mountain or follow the climbing path shown in the video.
How to Reach the Insect Trainer
- Start from the starter village.
- Move forward toward the Slayer Corps area.
- Climb the mountain or follow the path around it.
- Make sure you have enough stamina for the climb.
- Continue upward and move across the area.
- Jump down toward the Slayer Corps.
- Find the house next to the Slayer Corps building.
The Insect Breathing trainer is Shinora. Once you reach the Slayer Corps area, you will find her near the house.
Flame Breathing Location
Flame Breathing is located farther away than several of the other breathing styles. You can start from the Mother Bear area or from the Water Breathing trainer’s house.
From there, head downward and look for the Reaper spawn. If you see the Reaper area, you’re traveling in the right direction.
Continue past the boulder training area and Sonomy. Once you reach Sonomy, move past the area and head toward the gate.
How to Reach the Flame Trainer
- Travel downward from the Mother Bear or Water Breathing area.
- Look for the Reaper spawn.
- Continue past the boulder training area.
- Pass Sonomy and move toward the gate.
- Go through the gate and head downward.
- Continue straight and cross one of the bridges.
- Keep crossing the bridges as you move forward.
- Continue toward the house at the end of the route.
The Flame Breathing trainer is located behind the house. You will find Ren Goku waiting there.
The video also shows the Ren Goku boss spawn while traveling toward the trainer.
Ren Goku will most likely ask for Demon Horns, although the exact requirement is not confirmed in the provided section.
Finding breathing trainers in Slayers 2 often requires more than simply following the main roads. Some trainers are hidden behind buildings, inside secret areas, underwater, or at the top of mountains.
When climbing, remember to manage your stamina and wait for it to recover before attempting the next section. Using recognizable landmarks such as Mother Bear, Orodaki’s house, bridges, waterfalls, and the Slayer Corps can also make navigation easier.
If you’re collecting breathing styles, start by locating the trainer first and then check the required items or quests before spending time gathering materials.
