Becoming a demon in Slayers 2 is one of the first major goals you may have when starting your journey. However, there’s more to the process than simply finding the right NPC. You’ll need to lower your reputation, complete a quest, collect Spider Lilies, and use Muzan’s Blood to complete your transformation.
After becoming a demon, you can start working toward a Blood Demon Art, unlock new skills, get temporary sun immunity, and improve your demon progression. Each of these systems plays a role in making your character stronger.
This guide explains how to become a demon, where to find Man, how to obtain a Blood Demon Art, and how to unlock the Black Amigasa hat for protection against sunlight.
I’ll also explain how demon progression works, including the different souls you can collect by defeating NPCs.
Slayers 2 Demon Guide – How To Become a Demon Fast, Get Sun Immunity, Demon Arts & More
To become a demon, you first need to find Man, the NPC who can turn your character into a demon. However, you must meet a reputation requirement before the option to become a demon appears.
You’ll also need to complete a quest after speaking with him for the first time.
Step 1: Get Negative 40 Reputation
You need at least -40 reputation for the demon transformation option to appear.
To lower your reputation, you can defeat civilians or Slayers around the map. Continue doing this until your reputation reaches the required amount.
Once you have negative 40 reputation, you can search for Man.
Step 2: Find Man
Man has three possible spawn locations across the map:
- Misful Harbor: Located in the bottom-right area of the map, near the beginner village.
- Hidden Mist Village: Enter the mist area to reach the secret village.
- Iceville Valley: The snowy village located in the snow region.
Misful Harbor is described as one of the more common spawn locations because it’s close to the beginner village.
You can open your minimap by clicking on it and use the locations mentioned above to search for Man.
Step 3: Talk to Man
Once you find Man with the required negative reputation, speak to him.
He will give you a Biwа Bell. Use the bell to access his domain, then speak to him again.
After this, Man will give you a task that must be completed before you can become a full demon.
How To Complete the Demon Transformation Quest
Man’s quest requires you to collect Spider Lilies and complete another task involving Dr. Higushima.
Follow the steps below to progress through the quest.
Step 1: Find Spider Lilies
Spider Lilies can be found near lakes and in other areas around the map. One of the mentioned locations is behind a house near Misful Harbor.
You can also search around the lake by moving in a circle through the surrounding area. Several Spider Lilies can spawn there.
Important: Spider Lilies only spawn at night.
If it’s daytime, you’ll need to wait until nighttime or work on another part of the quest first.
Step 2: Complete the Dr. Higushima Quest
While waiting for nighttime, you can complete the Dr. Higushima quest.
The video recommends having the following movement abilities:
- Double jump
- Climbing
These abilities make it easier to reach the location.
Follow the route to Dr. Higushima and capture him. After completing this part, Mizuno or Slayers will begin spawning in the area.
Step 3: Avoid Fighting Every Enemy
You don’t need to kill every Slayer that spawns during this part of the quest.
The enemies will continue spawning, so fighting them repeatedly can waste time. Instead, run toward the checkpoint and focus on surviving.
Keep moving and avoid getting overwhelmed by the enemies.
Step 4: Collect the Remaining Spider Lilies
After completing the Dr. Higushima objective, return to the areas where Spider Lilies spawn.
You can find another Spider Lily in the swamp area shown in the video. Continue collecting them until you have the required amount.
Step 5: Use Muzan’s Blood
Once you have completed the required tasks and collected the Spider Lilies, you’ll receive Muzan’s Blood.
Use the blood and drink it to begin your transformation.
After completing the process, your character will become a demon.
Congratulations, you’ve now become a demon in Slayers 2.
How To Get a Blood Demon Art
After becoming a demon, your next goal may be obtaining a Blood Demon Art. The video mentions two main ways to get one:
- Farming bosses and chests.
- Using the Biwa Bell to speak with Man and spin for an ability.
Method 1: Farm Bosses and Chests
You can obtain Blood Demon Arts by farming bosses or opening chests, including luck chests.
These activities can provide opportunities to obtain the items needed for a Blood Demon Art.
Method 2: Use Man’s Power Option
You can also use the Biwa Bell and speak with Man in his domain.
Choose the option to ask him for power. From there, you can use spins to try to obtain a Blood Demon Art.
The video mentions two types of currency:
- Robux spins.
- Free in-game currency.
The demonstrated spin costs three spins per roll.
The video obtains Blood Demon Arts such as Tamari and Dream during the spinning process.
How To Choose and Use a Blood Demon Art
After obtaining an orb, select and use it to receive a quest.
The game will provide you with a random quest, and you can follow the markers on your map to complete it.
These quests are described as straightforward, with objectives that you can follow using the in-game markers.
Once you finish the required tasks, you’ll receive your Blood Demon Art.
Be Careful When Completing the Quest
If you die while completing the Blood Demon Art quest, you may lose your progress.
The video mentions that the creator accidentally reset their character during a quiz and lost the quest.
For that reason, try to stay alive until you’ve completed the objective.
How To Unlock Blood Demon Art Skills
After obtaining a Blood Demon Art, open the Skill Tree to unlock its abilities.
You’ll need mastery to unlock additional skills.
How To Increase Mastery
You can increase your mastery by continuing to use your Blood Demon Art abilities.
As your mastery improves, you’ll be able to unlock more skills in the skill tree.
Some Blood Demon Arts can be used with your fists, while others require specific weapons.
For example, Blood Manipulation requires a sickle.
Blood Manipulation Requirements
The video recommends avoiding Blood Manipulation as a beginner because you need a sickle to use it effectively.
The creator mentions that you should be at least level 52 to obtain the sickle drop.
This is why the video recommends waiting until you’ve progressed further before focusing on Blood Manipulation.
How To Get Temporary Sun Immunity
As a demon, sunlight can be dangerous. Going outside during the daytime can cause your character to burn and die.
Fortunately, beginner players can obtain temporary sun immunity by unlocking the Black Amigasa hat.
The hat protects you from sunlight, although it doesn’t provide additional buffs according to the video.
How To Get the Black Amigasa Hat
Follow these steps to unlock the Black Amigasa:
- Go to the beginner village.
- Find and speak to Moldy Sugar.
- Follow the quest marker toward Misful Harbor.
- Travel to the indicated NPC.
- Deliver the package.
- Unlock the option to purchase Black Amigasa.
- Buy the hat for 10,000.
After purchasing and equipping the hat, you’ll have temporary sun immunity.
Does Black Amigasa Provide Other Buffs?
The video describes Black Amigasa as a temporary hat with no buffs aside from sun immunity.
It can help beginner demons survive during the daytime, but the creator recommends working toward better hats later in the game.
More advanced hats may provide additional buffs alongside sun protection.
How Demon Progression Works
Demon progression is another system you should focus on after becoming a demon.
To check your progression:
- Press M on your keyboard.
- Open Player Info.
- Select Progression.
- Check your progression bar.
You can increase your progression by defeating NPCs and collecting the souls they drop.
Types of Souls in Demon Progression
Different NPCs drop different types of souls depending on their strength.
Weak Soul
Low-level NPCs drop Weak Souls.
These are generally obtained by defeating weaker enemies.
Strong Soul
Slightly stronger NPCs drop Strong Souls.
These provide more progression than the weaker soul type.
Brave Soul
Very strong NPCs, such as Hashiras, can drop Brave Souls.
The video describes Brave Soul as the highest soul type mentioned, providing +25 progression.
This makes stronger NPCs valuable targets when you’re trying to improve your progression.
Do Demons Drop Souls?
According to the video, defeating other demons does not provide souls.
The creator demonstrates this by defeating a demon and receiving no soul.
If you’re farming progression, focus on NPCs rather than other demons.
Demon Progression Levels and Rewards
As you fill the progression bar, you’ll unlock different levels.
The video mentions:
- Level 2 progression.
- Level 3 progression.
- Level 4 progression, which is believed to be the maximum.
Reaching these levels provides various buffs and passive abilities.
You should continue working on demon progression because the rewards can improve your character and provide useful bonuses.
Becoming a demon in Slayers 2 requires you to find Man, reach negative 40 reputation, complete his quest, and use Muzan’s Blood. Once you’ve transformed, you can work on obtaining a Blood Demon Art, unlocking skills, and increasing your demon progression.
The Black Amigasa is also worth unlocking early because it provides temporary sun immunity for beginner players. Later on, you can focus on better hats with additional buffs.
Finally, don’t ignore demon progression. Defeating NPCs and collecting souls will help you unlock progression levels, buffs, and passive abilities as you continue playing.
