If you’re aiming for 100% completion in Solarpunk, the good news is that most achievements come naturally as you progress through the game. The challenge isn’t necessarily difficulty, but knowing where certain secrets are hidden and understanding a few achievement requirements that the game doesn’t clearly explain.
After spending dozens of in-game days building, exploring floating islands, upgrading airships, and automating production lines, you’ll eventually encounter nearly every achievement. However, a handful can be easily missed if you don’t know what you’re looking for.
This Solarpunk Achievements Guide covers every achievement in Solarpunk, including the easiest ways to unlock them and a few useful tips that can save you time during your completion run.
Back to the Basics
Requirement: Craft and open the Survival Guide.
This is usually one of the first achievements you’ll unlock. Early in the game, craft the Survival Guide and open it from your inventory. The achievement triggers immediately after interacting with it.
Rise and Shine!
Requirement: Skip nighttime by sleeping in a bed.
Once you’ve gathered enough resources to craft a bed, place it in your base and sleep through the night. The achievement unlocks as soon as you wake up.
Where Did the Floor Disappear?
Requirement: Fall from the island.
Probably the easiest achievement in the game.
Simply jump off any floating island and fall into the void below. You’ll respawn afterward and receive the achievement.
Off to the Skies
Requirement: Build your Airship.
Your first airship is a major progression milestone.
The required airship components can be found near the starting area. Head toward the cliff on the left side of the spawn region and follow the progression path until you locate the necessary parts.
Once the airship is completed, the achievement unlocks.
Unlimited Power!
Requirement: Build your first Energy Network.
This achievement is tied directly to progression.
After completing the Trader’s early quests, you’ll gain access to energy devices. Place your first energy-producing setup and connect it into an energy network to unlock the achievement.
Hi Henri!
Requirement: Name an animal.
Craft a Name Tag and use it on any animal you’ve tamed.
The name itself doesn’t matter. The achievement unlocks immediately after renaming the animal.
Well Henri’s Happy Today…
Requirement: Maximize an animal’s happiness.
Animals have happiness levels that increase through proper care.
Feed them regularly, keep them comfortable, and maintain their needs until the happiness meter reaches its maximum value.
This can take some time, but it’s straightforward once you begin farming and animal husbandry.
ƃƃǝɹǝʇsɐǝ
Requirement: Find the Hourglass Easter Egg.
This is one of the easiest secret achievements to miss.
Visit the Trader’s building and head into the back room. Look closely at the painting located there. Interacting with or examining the painting triggers the hidden achievement.
It’s Been a Full Month!
Requirement: Play for 30 in-game days.
Simply continue playing.
If you’re focusing on progression, exploration, and building projects, you’ll likely unlock this naturally before finishing the game.
Sleeping through nights still counts toward day progression.
Drones!
Requirement: Deploy your first Transport Drone.
Transport Drones become available later in the technology progression.
Craft and place your first drone to unlock the achievement.
This is usually your first major step into automation.
Repaint-Time Everybody!
Requirement: Color your Airship.
Additional airship colors can be purchased from the Vending Machine.
After unlocking a new color, apply it to your airship and the achievement will pop.
Zero Waste
Requirement: Recycle for the first time.
Build or unlock the recycling system and recycle any eligible item.
The achievement unlocks after your first successful recycling action.
No Limit!
Requirement: Fully upgrade your Airship.
You’ll need to acquire all available airship upgrades throughout the game.
This takes a significant amount of exploration and resource gathering, but it’s required for reaching every area of the map.
Once the final upgrade is installed, the achievement unlocks.
Ho Ho Ho!
Requirement: Upgrade your Airship enough to reach the Winter Islands.
The Winter Islands represent a later-game region.
Continue upgrading your airship until it has the capabilities needed to survive and travel into the colder biome.
The achievement unlocks upon reaching the required upgrade level.
Photosynthesis
Requirement: Discover all plants.
This achievement requires extensive exploration.
Every biome contains unique vegetation, so make sure you’re scanning and collecting plants from every island you visit.
Players often miss one or two rare plants from remote islands, so revisit unexplored locations if you’re stuck.
Yum!
Requirement: Eat a Pizza.
Pizza can be obtained in two ways:
- Found inside loot chests, especially on outer islands and Winter Islands.
- Crafted after unlocking the final cooking blueprint through the Research Table.
Once you consume a pizza, the achievement unlocks.
Shiny!
Requirement: Find a Diamond.
Diamonds are found through mining.
There is currently a chance that the achievement won’t trigger immediately after mining one. If that happens, simply drop the diamond onto the ground and pick it back up.
In most cases, the achievement unlocks afterward.
Would You Like a Paper Bag?
Requirement: Complete all Trader Bot trades.
This achievement requires purchasing and completing every available trade offered by the Trader Bot.
Because some trades only become available later in progression, expect this to be one of your final achievements.
Keep checking back as you unlock new technologies.
Silicon Valley
Requirement: Unlock all Energy Devices.
Every energy blueprint available from the trader must be unlocked.
This includes power generation, storage, and advanced energy-related technologies.
Make sure you’re spending trade currency consistently throughout your playthrough.
What Can’t You Do!
Requirement: Unlock all Recipes.
Many players assume this only refers to Research Table recipes.
It doesn’t.
You must unlock:
- All Research Table recipes
- All Energy Device blueprints
- All trader-purchased technologies
Missing even a single blueprint will prevent the achievement from unlocking.
Solar Pirate
Requirement: Find all Loot Chests.
Exploration is key here.
Fortunately, one of the final Energy Device blueprints provides access to a Loot Chest Radar. This dramatically simplifies cleanup once you’re nearing 100% completion.
If you’re missing a few chests, unlock the radar before manually searching every island.
Unlimited… POWEEEER!
Requirement: Produce 3000 Energy.
The important detail here is that the 3000 energy must be generated within a single energy circuit.
Creating multiple smaller networks won’t work.
Focus on building one large centralized power grid with enough generation capacity to surpass the requirement.
I Hope Your Items Don’t Get Stuck…
Requirement: Buy everything from the Vending Machine.
Every item available in the Vending Machine must be purchased.
This includes cosmetic unlocks, colors, and other available rewards.
Expect this achievement to require a substantial amount of currency farming.
Bob the Builder
Requirement: Construct 500 Building Pieces.
This achievement comes naturally for most players.
Large bases, farming structures, storage facilities, and automation setups quickly add up.
If you’re nearing the end of the achievement list and still haven’t unlocked it, simply expand your base with additional foundations, walls, and decorative structures until you reach 500 pieces.
