SpiritVale Class Tier List (August 2026) – Best Classes

Picking your first class in SpiritVale is honestly a bigger decision than it looks. Every class has its own strengths, weapons, and playstyle, but they’re definitely not equal. Some classes make leveling feel smooth from the very beginning, while others require much more gear or party support before they really shine.

One thing I like about SpiritVale is that there isn’t a single “bad” class. Every class is capable of clearing content, but some simply perform better in more situations. This tier list looks at overall PvE performance, leveling speed, survivability, damage output, utility, and how useful each class feels throughout progression.

SpiritVale Class Tier List (August 2026) – Best Classes

Tier Classes
S Tier Wizard, Priest, Paladin, Necromancer
A Tier Mage, Gunslinger, Shinobi, Weaver
B Tier Warrior, Rogue, Knight, Summoner
C Tier Scout, Acolyte, Berserker

S Tier Classes

These are the strongest and most complete classes currently available. They perform well in almost every activity without requiring perfect gear.

Wizard

Role: Magic DPS

If your goal is dealing massive damage from a safe distance, it’s hard to beat the Wizard. It upgrades everything that makes the Mage strong while offering better offensive potential for late-game content.

With powerful elemental spells and consistent ranged attacks, the Wizard clears groups of enemies quickly and remains valuable against bosses.

Priest

Role: Healer / Support

Every party loves having a Priest.

Healing, buffs, and defensive support make this class one of the most valuable teammates during difficult content. Even if your personal damage isn’t the highest, keeping everyone alive often matters much more.

If you enjoy helping your team instead of chasing damage numbers, Priest is one of the best classes in the game.

Pros

  • Best healing abilities
  • Excellent support skills
  • High party value
  • Strong survivability

Cons

  • Lower solo damage

Paladin

Role: Tank / Support

Paladin combines survivability, support, and respectable melee damage into one complete package.

Unlike pure tanks, Paladins don’t simply absorb damage—they actively protect teammates with defensive abilities and helpful auras while still contributing in combat.

It’s one of the safest classes for beginners because it’s difficult to kill.

Pros

  • Incredible survivability
  • Team buffs
  • Reliable melee damage
  • Great for group content

Cons

  • Slower leveling than DPS classes

Necromancer

Role: Summoner DPS

Necromancer turns the battlefield into its own personal army.

Skeletons and summoned creatures handle much of the fighting while you stay safely behind the front line.

It performs exceptionally well during solo content since your summons constantly absorb enemy attention.

Pros

  • Powerful summons
  • Excellent solo class
  • High sustained damage
  • Safe gameplay

Cons

  • Requires managing summons effectively

A Tier Classes

Excellent choices that can easily carry you through the game.

Mage

Role: Magic DPS

Mage is one of the strongest starting classes available.

Fireball, Ice Shard, Thunder Storm, and Earth Spikes provide strong elemental coverage right from the beginning.

If you plan on becoming a Wizard later, Mage offers an excellent starting point.

Best For

  • New players
  • Magic builds
  • Fast leveling

Gunslinger

Role: Ranged DPS

Gunslinger specializes in dealing huge ranged damage with firearms.

Its combination of Sniper Shot, Fan Fire, and Piercing Shot allows it to handle both single-target bosses and groups of enemies efficiently.

Players who enjoy ranged combat without relying on magic will probably love this class.

Shinobi

Role: Melee DPS

Fast, mobile, and capable of dealing impressive burst damage.

Shinobi rewards skilled players who enjoy weaving in and out of combat instead of standing toe-to-toe with enemies.

It’s incredibly fun once you master its mobility.

Weaver

Role: Hybrid DPS

Weaver is probably the most flexible class in SpiritVale.

Instead of specializing in one combat style, it combines physical attacks, magic, and multiple weapon options into one adaptable class.

Players who enjoy experimenting with different builds will find plenty to love here.

The only downside is its higher learning curve.

B Tier Classes

Solid classes that perform well but usually require more investment or experience.

Warrior

Role: Melee DPS

Warrior is straightforward and beginner-friendly.

Its Axe skills deal reliable damage while keeping combat simple.

Although it doesn’t offer much utility, it remains dependable throughout progression.

Rogue

Role: Melee DPS

Rogue focuses on speed instead of raw power.

Shadow Step and Enchant Poison create fun hit-and-run gameplay, but the class feels much squishier than other melee options.

Knight

Role: Tank

Knight excels at protecting teammates.

Taunt, Fortify, and Endure allow it to absorb tremendous punishment.

The downside is slower leveling whenever you’re playing alone.

Summoner

Role: Magic DPS

Summoner relies on companions to fight alongside it.

While the class performs well, Necromancer eventually becomes a stronger evolution of the same playstyle, making Summoner feel more like a stepping stone.

C Tier Classes

These classes aren’t weak, but they’re generally outperformed by their advanced versions or other alternatives.

Scout

Role: Ranged DPS

Scout performs reasonably well during the early game thanks to its bow skills.

However, once Gunslinger becomes available, most players will naturally transition because of its higher damage and better overall toolkit.

Acolyte

Role: Support / Healer

Acolyte is an important starting class for future Priest players.

Its healing abilities are helpful early on, but Priest improves almost every aspect of the class later in progression.

Berserker

Role: Melee DPS

Berserker delivers strong physical attacks and impressive damage potential.

However, compared to other advanced classes, it offers less flexibility and fewer utility options.

It’s still perfectly playable, but other melee classes generally provide more consistent value across different types of content.

If you’re creating your very first character, I’d personally recommend starting with Mage if you enjoy dealing damage, or Knight if you prefer being the team’s frontline. Both have smooth progression paths into some of the strongest advanced classes in the game.

For advanced classes, Wizard, Priest, Paladin, and Necromancer currently stand out as the most complete options. They each excel in their own roles and remain useful throughout the entire game, whether you’re exploring solo or tackling tougher content with friends.

Of course, the “best” class also depends on how you like to play. Some players enjoy commanding an army of summons, while others prefer charging into battle with a sword or supporting teammates from the backline. The good news is that SpiritVale offers a class for every playstyle—you just need to find the one that feels right for you.
