If you’re playing Stackmon and trying to complete your Stackopedia, one of the most useful things to know is where each Monster can be found and what you need to do to evolve it.
In this guide, I’ll go through the Monsters currently listed in the game and explain their location, appearance time, and evolution requirements. I’ll also point out when an evolved Monster doesn’t have a confirmed location or requirement yet, so you know which information is still unknown.
Stackmon Monster Evolution Guide – Locations, Times
Monster evolution in Stackmon can work in a few different ways. Some Monsters evolve automatically after reaching a certain level, while others require an Evolution Gem.
For example, Graplely evolves into Flowpe at Level 6, while Lilyfin requires an Evolution Gem to become Lilyfloat.
The important thing is that not every Monster’s evolution information is currently known, so don’t worry if you find a Monster with question marks in its Stackopedia entry.
Water Monsters
Lilyfin
Location: Forest Route 2
Time: Day/Night
Evolution: Lilyfloat with an Evolution Gem
Lilyfin is one of the Water Monsters you can find on Forest Route 2.
The good thing is that it can appear during both the day and night, so you don’t have to wait for a specific time period to search for it.
Once you have Lilyfin, you can evolve it into Lilyfloat by using an Evolution Gem.
Lilyfloat
Location: Unknown
Time: Unknown
Evolution: Unknown
Lilyfloat is the evolved form of Lilyfin.
The current information doesn’t give a confirmed location or appearance time for Lilyfloat, so if you’re trying to find one directly, you’ll need to rely on your own exploration until more information is available.
Squipu
Location: Forest Route 2
Time: Day/Night
Evolution: Unknown
Squipu can also be found on Forest Route 2 and appears during both day and night.
There isn’t a confirmed evolution requirement listed for Squipu yet, so its evolutionary path is currently unknown.
Fire Monsters
Gralit
Location: Unknown
Time: Unknown
Evolution: Punkrow at Level 8
Gralit is a Fire Monster with a straightforward evolution requirement.
Once Gralit reaches Level 8, it evolves into Punkrow.
The current location and time for finding Gralit have not been confirmed, so you’ll need to keep exploring until its spawn information is known.
Punkrow
Location: Unknown
Time: Unknown
Evolution: Unknown
Punkrow is the evolved form of Gralit.
At the moment, there isn’t confirmed information about where Punkrow appears or whether it has another evolution.
Firander
Location: Forest Route 2
Time: Night
Evolution: Unknown
Firander can be found on Forest Route 2, but unlike some of the other Monsters in the area, it only appears at night.
If you’re searching for Firander, make sure you’re exploring Forest Route 2 during the nighttime period.
Plant Monsters
Graplely
Location: Forest Route 1, Forest Route 2
Time: Day
Evolution: Flowpe at Level 6
Graplely is one of the easier Monsters to track down because it can be found on both Forest Route 1 and Forest Route 2.
However, it only appears during the day.
Once Graplely reaches Level 6, it evolves into Flowpe.
Flowpe
Location: Unknown
Time: Unknown
Evolution: Unknown
Flowpe is the evolved form of Graplely.
The current information does not list a confirmed location or time for finding Flowpe in the wild.
Slugmush
Location: Forest Route 2
Time: Day
Evolution: Unknown
Slugmush can be found on Forest Route 2 during the day.
There is currently no confirmed evolution requirement listed for this Monster.
Aether Monsters
Spindle
Location: Forest Route 2
Time: Night
Evolution: Waxindle at Level 7
Spindle is another Forest Route 2 Monster, but you’ll need to search at night to find it.
Once Spindle reaches Level 7, it evolves into Waxindle.
Waxindle
Location: Unknown
Time: Unknown
Evolution: Unknown
Waxindle is the evolved form of Spindle.
Its location and appearance time are currently unknown, as is any further evolution.
Mothold
Location: Forest Route 1
Time: Night
Evolution: Mothelder with an Evolution Gem
Mothold can be found on Forest Route 1 during the night.
To evolve it into Mothelder, you’ll need an Evolution Gem rather than a specific level.
Mothelder
Location: Unknown
Time: Unknown
Evolution: Unknown
Mothelder is the evolved form of Mothold.
There isn’t currently confirmed information about its location, appearance time, or any further evolution.
Neutral Monsters
Frogrow
Location: Forest Route 1
Time: Day/Night
Evolution: Unknown
Frogrow can be found on Forest Route 1 during both the day and night.
Since it doesn’t currently have a confirmed evolution requirement, its evolutionary path remains unknown.
Pinpaca
Location: Forest Route 2
Time: Day/Night
Evolution: Alnata at Level 9
Pinpaca can be found on Forest Route 2 at either time of day.
To evolve Pinpaca into Alnata, you need to reach Level 9.
Alnata
Location: Unknown
Time: Unknown
Evolution: Unknown
Alnata is the evolved form of Pinpaca.
Its current location, appearance time, and any further evolution requirement are not confirmed.
That’s the current list of Stackmon Monsters and their known evolution information.
If you’re trying to fill out the Stackopedia, I recommend starting with the Monsters that have confirmed locations and then working on their evolution requirements. Graplely, Spindle, and Pinpaca are especially straightforward because they have level-based evolutions, while Lilyfin and Mothold require an Evolution Gem.
For any Monster marked as unknown, the information isn’t currently confirmed, so I wouldn’t waste time assuming a location or evolution requirement that isn’t listed yet. As more Monsters and evolution details are discovered, this list can be expanded.
