Tap Tap Loot Bongo Cat Stat Boost Guide

There’s a hidden system in Tap Tap Loot that a lot of players either ignore or don’t fully understand:
Bongo Cat can directly boost your in-game stats.

These boosts come from specific “Tap Tap” cosmetics equipped on Bongo Cat. As long as:

  • Bongo Cat is running in the background
  • The correct cosmetics are equipped

…your character gains passive stat bonuses with zero effort.

This is essentially free power, and in later stages, even small percentage boosts can make a big difference.

Tap Tap Loot Bongo Cat Stat Boost Guide

The system is very simple:

  1. Run Bongo Cat at the same time as Tap Tap Loot
  2. Equip cosmetics that start with “Tap Tap”
  3. Keep the app running → stats apply automatically

Important notes:

  • Mech skins no longer give bonuses (removed due to pay-to-win concerns)
  • Some cosmetics are no longer obtainable normally
  • You can still get them through trading or the market

Skins

Tap Tap Bunny

  • +15% Spell Power
  • Given when purchasing Tap Tap Loot

This is one of the strongest skins for mage builds, because Spell Power directly increases your main damage source.

Tap Tap Goo Cat

  • +20% Health

This is a pure survivability boost. It becomes very valuable in late game where:

  • Enemies hit harder
  • You need more margin for mistakes

Tap Tap Tabby

  • +10% Attack
  • Previously from wishlisting

Useful for early and mid-game melee or hybrid builds, but less impactful later compared to scaling stats like Crit or Spell Power.

Tap Tap Orange Calico

  • +10% Crit
  • Originally from the demo (now unavailable normally)

This is one of the best skins in the game for:

  • Crit builds
  • Backstab builds

Because Crit doesn’t just increase damage—it enables entire build mechanics.

Tap Tap Grey Calico

  • +10% Armor

This reduces incoming damage. It’s helpful, but generally less impactful than:

  • Dodge (avoid damage entirely)
  • Lifesteal (recover damage)

Still solid if you’re struggling to survive.

Hats (Secondary Bonuses)

Tap Tap Bunny Ears

  • +15% Dodge

One of the best defensive bonuses available.

Dodge is extremely strong because:

  • It completely avoids damage
  • It scales better than raw armor in late game

This is a top-tier choice for survival.

Tap Tap Jester Hat

  • +10% Crit

Perfect for Crit-based builds. It directly supports:

  • Backstab scaling
  • Poison proc frequency
  • Overall DPS consistency

Tap Tap Helmet

  • +10% Health

A simple survivability option. Good early, but later:

  • Dodge or Lifesteal tends to be more effective

Tap Tap Glasses

  • +5% Dodge

This is basically a weaker version of Bunny Ears.

There’s no real reason to use it if you have Bunny Ears.

Best Combinations

Mage Build Setup

  • Tap Tap Bunny (Spell Power)
  • Bunny Ears (Dodge)

Why it works:

  • High damage scaling
  • Strong survivability

Crit / Backstab Build Setup

  • Orange Calico (Crit)
  • Jester Hat (Crit)

Why it works:

  • Maximizes Crit scaling
  • Directly boosts Backstab effectiveness
  • Improves overall damage output

Survival / Late Game Setup

  • Goo Cat (Health)
  • Bunny Ears (Dodge)

Why it works:

  • Extra health buffer
  • High dodge chance prevents deaths

Why This System Actually Matters

These bonuses:

  • Stack with your gear
  • Apply constantly
  • Require no gameplay effort

In late game, even:

  • +10% Crit
  • +15% Spell Power

…can noticeably improve:

  • Clear speed
  • Boss fights
  • Survivability

Ignoring this system is basically leaving free stats unused.

Bongo Cat isn’t just cosmetic—it’s a hidden stat system.

If you’re serious about progressing:

  • Use it
  • Optimize it
  • Match it with your build

It won’t carry you alone, but it amplifies everything you already do.
