TBH Task Bar Hero Cube Guide – Recipes, Synthesis

If there’s one system that separates new players from experienced players, it’s the Hero-dric Cube. Many players reach Act 2 or Act 3 while still wearing basic Legendary gear because they never learn how to properly use the Cube. Meanwhile, veteran players are constantly upgrading equipment, crafting higher-tier items, and working toward Immortal, Arcana, Divine, and even Cosmic gear.

The Cube is essentially the heart of item progression in TBH. Almost every important equipment upgrade eventually passes through this system.

TBH Task Bar Hero Cube Guide – Recipes, Synthesis

The Cube becomes available early in your adventure.

Most players unlock it around Level 4 through the main progression path.

Once unlocked, open your Menu and select the Cube option to access all available Cube functions.

Inside the Cube you’ll find several different systems:

  • Synthesis
  • Alchemy
  • Crafting
  • Decoration
  • Engraving
  • Inscription
  • Extraction
  • Offering

Each function serves a different purpose and becomes more important as your account progresses.

Item Level Ranges

One feature that many beginners completely overlook is the level range selector found in several Cube functions.

When using:

  • Synthesis
  • Crafting
  • Certain Cube upgrades

you can choose the level range of the resulting item.

Examples include:

  • Level 1-10
  • Level 10-20
  • Level 20-30
  • Level 30-40
  • Higher endgame ranges

A common mistake is forgetting to update this setting while progressing through the game.

If you remain on a low-level range, the Cube will continue generating lower-level equipment even when your heroes have far surpassed that content.

Always check your selected level bracket before crafting or synthesizing gear.

Using Auto Fill

Most Cube systems include an Auto Fill button.

This automatically inserts eligible materials from your inventory.

Auto Fill is extremely useful when:

  • Cleaning inventory
  • Mass crafting
  • Large synthesis sessions
  • Converting gear into gold

However, it can also be dangerous.

Always double-check the selected items before confirming because Auto Fill may include equipment or materials you intended to keep.

Many experienced players lock valuable items before using Auto Fill to avoid accidents.

Synthesis

Synthesis is usually the first Cube feature players interact with.

The process is simple:

  • Insert 9 items of the same rarity.
  • Confirm the synthesis.
  • Receive 1 item of a higher rarity.

For example:

9 Common Items → 1 Uncommon Item

9 Uncommon Items → 1 Rare Item

9 Rare Items → 1 Legendary Item

This system is extremely useful when your inventory begins filling with useless gear.

Instead of selling everything immediately, you can recycle lower-rarity items into stronger equipment.

Best Time To Use Synthesis

Early Game:

Save most gear for Alchemy and Rune progression.

Mid Game:

Begin converting excess equipment into upgrades.

Late Game:

Mass-synthesize gear while chasing Immortal, Arcana, Divine, and Cosmic items.

Alchemy

Alchemy converts unwanted items directly into gold.

Simply place items into the Cube and convert them.

The result:

  • Items are destroyed.
  • Gold is awarded.
  • Cube experience is gained.

This makes Alchemy one of the fastest ways to fund Rune Tree progression.

Many players underestimate how much gold can be generated from duplicate equipment.

When inventory space becomes a problem, Alchemy provides a quick solution.

Best Uses For Alchemy

  • Duplicate equipment
  • Outdated gear
  • Low-rarity drops
  • Inventory cleanup

Gold earned from Alchemy can then be reinvested into:

  • Rune upgrades
  • Formation slots
  • Account progression

Crafting

Crafting allows you to create specific categories of equipment.

Instead of waiting for random drops, you choose what type of item you want.

Available categories include:

  • Main Weapons
  • Sub Weapons
  • Armor
  • Shields
  • Accessories

Each recipe requires different materials.

For example, crafting a shield might require:

  • Leather
  • Copper Nuggets

The exact materials depend on the selected item category and level range.
