Card Market Prices Part 1

Base prices and base modifiers for RNG multiplier
Format: Base Price | RNG Floor | RNG Ceiling | Border Multiplier

  • Regular: $0.20 | 0.1 | 1.2 | 1
  • 1st Edition: $1.00 | 0.2 | 1.2 | 2
  • Silver: $2.50 | 0.3 | 1.2 | 3

  • EX: $15.00 | 0.5 | 1.3 | 5
  • Full Art: $50.00 | 0.6 | 1.4 | 6

Base foil prices and base modifiers for RNG multiplier
Format: Base Price | RNG Floor | RNG Ceiling | Border Multiplier

  • Regular: $5.00 | 0.2 | 1.2 | 1
  • 1st Edition: $10.00 | 0.3 | 1.2 | 2
  • Silver: $30.00 | 0.4 | 1.2 | 3
  • Gold: $100.00 | 0.5 | 1.2 | 4
  • EX: $500.00 | 0.6 | 1.3 | 5
  • Full Art: $1500.00 | 0.65 | 1.4 | 6

Rarity modifiers for RNG multipliers
Format: Modifier | RNG Floor | RNG Ceiling | Modifier 2 | RNG Floor 2 | RNG Ceiling 2

  • Common: 0 | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A
  • Rare: 0.1 | 1 | 1.25 | 0.1 | 0.5 | 1.5
  • Epic: 0.2 | 1.25 | 1.5 | 0.3 | 0.7 | 1.3
  • Legendary: 0.5 | 1.5 | 2 | 0.5 | 0.9 | 1.1

Expansion type modifiers for RNG multiplier
Format: RNG Floor | RNG Ceiling

  • Destiny: 1.2 | 1.5
  • Ghost: 2.8 | 3.2

The first formula:

First Price = [Base Price] x Random(RNG Floor + Rarity Modifier, RNG Ceiling + Rarity Modifier)

Note: Random has two values in the parentheses separated by a comma. This means it’s a random number between the first value and the second value (both inclusive).
e.g. Random(2, 5) means the game generates a random value between 2 and 5 (inclusive).

Example (Epic Gold Foil card):
First Price = 100 x Random(0.5 + 0.2, 1.2 + 0.2) = 100 x Random(0.7, 1.4)
This means the price can be anything from $70 to $140.

Card Market Prices Part 2

If the card is Gold or better, the price undergoes another calculation:
Second Price = (First Price) x Random(Rarity RNG Floor, Rarity RNG Ceiling)

Example:
Using the previous example where the First Price was $140 (the max value):
Second Price = 140 x Random(1.25, 1.5)
This means the price is now a value between $175 and $210.

Third Formula:

Next, the price is multiplied by another random number based on the expansion:
Third Price = (Second Price) x Random(Expansion RNG Floor, Expansion RNG Ceiling)
Note: If the expansion is the base Tetramon, skip this step.

Example:
Continuing with the Epic Gold Foil card, and assuming it’s from a Destiny pack with a Second Price of $175:
Third Price = 175 x Random(1.2, 1.5)
This means the price is now a value between $210 and $262.50.

Fourth Formula (Final Calculation):

Finally, depending on the card’s rarity, the price undergoes a final calculation:
Final Price = (Third Price) + [Rarity Modifier 2 x Border Multiplier x Random(RNG Floor 2, RNG Ceiling 2)]

Example:
Continuing from the previous example where the Third Price was $262.50:
Final Price = 262.5 + [0.3 x 4 x Random(0.7, 1.3)] = 262.5 + (1.2 x Random(0.7, 1.3))
This means the final price is a value between $263.34 and $264.06.

(As noted, this final formula has only a small impact on the price.)
