Starting out in Touchline can feel overwhelming since there are plenty of attributes, talents, and skills to spend your points on. It’s easy to waste your first few thousand points on upgrades that don’t provide much value early on.

Don’t Spend Your Points Immediately
One of the biggest mistakes new players make is buying every skill they unlock.

- Future crates can cost around 1,000 Points, making it worthwhile to build up a larger balance instead of spending everything immediately.

Rather than trying to be good at everything, choose one role and build around it.

Best Shooting Build
If your goal is scoring, prioritize shooting-related talents.
The recommended combination is:
- Finesse
- Sharpshooter
- Sniper
Each talent improves a different part of your shooting.
Finesse
Finesse increases your shot curve, making it easier to bend the ball around defenders and goalkeepers.
Sharpshooter
Sharpshooter boosts the curve on set pieces, making free kicks and similar situations much more dangerous.
Sniper
Sniper increases the height of your shots, giving you more options when finishing attacks.
Max Out Your Shooting Attribute
No matter which position you eventually choose, keeping your Shooting Attribute at five stars is highly recommended.
Even midfielders and defenders will eventually need to finish chances, so investing in shooting is rarely a bad choice.
Best Dribbling Build
Players who enjoy beating defenders should focus on these talents:
- Magician
- Feather
- Trickster
Together they make controlling the ball much smoother.
Feather
Feather helps keep the ball close after intercepting passes or receiving aerial balls.
This makes your first touch much more reliable.
Magician
Magician improves your dribbling mechanics, allowing skill moves to feel more responsive and easier to perform.
If you enjoy taking on defenders one-on-one, this is one of the best talents available.
Trickster
Trickster complements the other dribbling talents by making skill-based playstyles more effective.
Combined with Magician, it creates a solid offensive build.
Goalkeeper Build
Goalkeeper talents are a bit more specialized.
The recommended options are:
- Punch
- Eagle
- Snatch
While the differences aren’t always immediately noticeable, each one improves a different aspect of goalkeeping.
Snatch
Snatch improves your reaction speed when diving and making saves.
This can help with stopping quick shots from close range.
Punch
Punch increases the power behind punched clearances.
Instead of simply blocking shots, you’ll send the ball much farther away from danger.
Eagle
Eagle also focuses on clearing the ball, helping goalkeepers push rebounds farther from the goal area.
Should Beginners Buy Skills?
At the moment, probably not.
Recent updates increased the cost of most skills, making them a poor investment for brand-new players.
Unless you’re already well into the game with plenty of extra Points, it’s usually smarter to save your currency for future content.
Best Skill for Late-Game Players
If you’ve already unlocked most essentials and have plenty of Points available, Rising is generally considered one of the better skill purchases.
It’s much more valuable later in your progression than during your first few hours.
Complete Your Daily Objectives
One thing that’s easy to overlook is the Objectives menu.
Daily and regular objectives provide:

- Points
- Faster progression
