1. Torino
Unlock Method:
Start a run on Mazerella and navigate through a specific route of rooms where stone columns spawn. Eventually, you’ll reach a chamber holding a giant stone Colossus.
How to Complete It:
Damage the Colossus only enough to wake it. Once active, it will walk straight downward through the map. Do not damage it past the aggression threshold after awakening.
Keep it on-screen as it exits the southern border of the stage. If it leaves while visible, Torino unlocks.
Focus on movement speed and survival tools, not damage. Disable or avoid passive damage effects.
2. Secretino Dagsson
Unlock Method:
Purchase “Preorder Me!” from the Giocatore menu.
Requires the Chula-Reh and Masquerade relics first.
3. Morris Baldwin
Unlock Method:
Pick Nathan Graves and evolve Arch Angel.
Arch Angel is formed by merging Grand Cross + Heaven Sword.
Prioritise collecting both base weapons early. Aim for an Arcana that assists critical hits or projectile growth.
4. Hugh Baldwin
Unlock Method:
During a run on Dairy Plant, you must carry or evolve these weapons simultaneously:
- Victory Sword
- Heaven Sword
- Tyrfing
- Icebrand
- Sword Brothers
- Confodere
Hold all six sword-type weapons in one Dairy Plant run.
5. Persephone
Unlock Method:
Use Simon Belmont and evolve the following:
- Spirit Tornado Tip
- Venus Crescent
Once both evolutions are completed, the event will trigger.
The unlock is tied to Simon’s heritage and the “windy quest beneath the moon” theme from the hint.
6. Astarte
Unlock Method:
Enter nomancandefy into the Cast Spell menu. This instantly unlocks Astarte.
7. Tera
Unlock Method:
Defeat 10,000 Scarleton enemies.
Scarletons are red foes that represent “denying Death”.
Play a high-kill map with curse-boosting Arcanas. Endless mode speeds this up significantly.
8. Annette
Unlock Method:
On Gallo Tower, evolve Clock Tower.
How to Evolve Clock Tower:
Follow the synthesis recipe for the Clock Tower item and combine the required components. Once evolved, you unlock Annette.
9. Genya Arikado
Unlock Method:
Play as Mina Hakuba and defeat The Trickster (the purple Reaper).
This can be done on any map, but Boss Rash is the fastest.
Bring burst damage tools (Holy weapons or high-damage Arcanas) to finish the Reaper fast.
10. Jiangshi
Unlock Method:
Defeat 10,000 enemies using Dark Frogamorphosis on Mad Forest.
Stay mobile and aim to extend runs. Curse increases enemy density and speeds up unlock progress.
11. Ruler Sword
Enter rulersword into the Cast Spell menu.
12. Drolta Tzuentes
Unlock Method:
Select Elizabeth Bartley and equip Arcana IV – Awake.
You need six revivals. To guarantee enough, bring Tirajisú at Level 2.
Die six times on Cappella Magna to trigger the unlock.
Avoid accidental healing or defensive evolutions to ensure your revivals are consumed.
13. Atlantis Shrine Wizard
Unlock Method:
On Moongolow, evolve Hydro Storm into Hydro Pump Climax using the required synthesis.
14. Witch Actrise
Unlock Method:
With Carrie Fernandez, defeat Hugh in Reverse Mode – Inlaid Library.
15. Zephyr
Unlock Method:
Choose Soma Cruz.
Reach 30 minutes on Ode to Castlevania, then defeat Zephyr.
Survival scaling gets intense after the 25-minute mark. Save defensive evolutions for the final stretch.
16. Stone Skull
Unlock Method:
Pick Shanoa, enter The Bone Zone (Inverse), and defeat Sketamari, an inverted skeletal sphere.
Tip:
Bring weapons that thrive in circular and continuous damage patterns to control enemy swarms.
17. Fake Trio
Unlock Method:
This one auto-unlocks on update for most players. No manual requirement.
