Ken Carson is one of the main characters in the Venue Encore update. His questline takes players through different stages inspired by the evolution of his music.
Throughout the questline, you will need to catch and return specific fish requested by Ken. Make sure you pay attention to each quest requirement before heading out to fish.
Ken Carson Quest Rewards
Completing the final stage of Ken Carson’s questline rewards you with:
- Xorcist rod
- Exclusive quest rewards
The questline has multiple stages, so be prepared to catch several different fish before claiming the final rewards.
New Apex Shark Hunts

The Venue Encore update introduces new Apex Shark Hunts, giving players an alternative to the usual Shark Hunt activities.
Each Apex Shark Hunt has its own unique mechanics and quirks, so you will need to adapt your fishing strategy depending on which shark you encounter.
These special sharks also have a future purpose, making them worth catching and collecting while the event is active.
New Characters and Questline Rods
Four of the new characters offer questlines that reward players with exclusive rods.

| Character | Quest Reward |
|---|---|
| Tormentor | Oppressor rod |
| Draven | Black Fairy rod |
| Glorp | D.R.E.D-7 rod |
| Tryce | Record Breaker rod |
To obtain these rods, you will need to find the corresponding character at the Underground Music Venue and complete their questline.
Silver Scalper: Returning Black Market Rods

The Silver Scalper is a new merchant and the brother of the Black Market Shopkeeper. He gives players another opportunity to obtain rods from previous Black Market sales.
Instead of requiring Robux or special event currencies, the Silver Scalper accepts C$ for his returning items.
Returning Black Market Items
The Silver Scalper offers the following rods and weapons:
| Item |
|---|
| Electric Guitar |
| Katana Rod |
| Sword of Darkness |
| Sword of Light |
| Upside-Down Rod |
| Bone Blade |
| Crimsonwrath |
If you missed any of these items during their original Black Market appearances, this is your chance to add them to your collection.

The update also includes a new redeem code that players can use for rewards.

More Content Coming Next Week
The Venue Encore update is not the end of the event. More content is planned for next week, including additional activities and surprises.
Players can also look forward to two unique Ken Carson admin events announced for 12:15 PM EST on the update day.
The Fisch Venue Encore update brings plenty of new content for players, from exclusive questline rods to returning Black Market items.
I recommend starting with the Ken Carson questline and working through the other character quests to collect the new rods. If you have been missing any of the older Black Market items, make sure to visit the Silver Scalper before the event ends.
With more content coming next week, there is even more reason to explore the Underground Music Venue and catch everything the update has to offer.
