Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered Achievement Guide
Some achievements are pretty straightforward, while others require a little more patience and practice. So, whether you’re just starting your 100% completion journey or only have a few hidden achievements left, here’s how to unlock them all.
Adventure Mode Achievements
Adventure Mode contains several achievements that require you to complete campaigns, level up monsters, and win battles under specific conditions.
Kaiju’s First Adventure
How to unlock: Complete Adventure Mode.
Simply choose any monster and finish an entire Adventure Mode playthrough. You don’t need to use a specific character for this achievement.
Adventure Complete? (Hidden)
How to unlock: Complete Adventure Mode with all 12 original characters.
You’ll need to finish a full Adventure Mode run with each of the 12 original monsters. Make sure you keep track of your completed characters so you don’t accidentally repeat a run.
The Adventure Continues… (Hidden)
How to unlock: Complete Adventure+ Mode with any character.
Choose whichever monster you’re most comfortable playing and finish the entire Adventure+ Mode campaign.
Kaiju Speed Run
How to unlock: Complete any Adventure Mode run in under 12 minutes.
Pick your strongest monster and try to finish the campaign as quickly as possible. Avoid unnecessary fights or delays and focus on defeating opponents efficiently.
Kaiju Maxxing (Hidden)
How to unlock: Reach Level 10 with a monster.
Choose one monster and continue earning experience until it reaches Level 10. It’s better to focus on a single character instead of spreading your progress across multiple monsters.
Self-Restraint
How to unlock: Finish an Adventure Mode fight on the Mothership without destroying the inner barrier.
During the Mothership battle, defeat your opponent without damaging the inner barrier. Be careful when using powerful attacks that can destroy parts of the environment.
Without a Scratch
How to unlock: Win an Adventure Mode or Survival Mode match with full health.
You must finish a battle without taking any damage. An easier approach is to fight weaker opponents on a lower difficulty setting.
At The Buzzer!
How to unlock: Win an Adventure Mode match with less than 3 seconds remaining.
Weaken your opponent during the battle and carefully watch the timer. Deliver the final attack just before time runs out.
Battle of the Millennium (Hidden)
How to unlock: Defeat Orga as Godzilla 2000 in Tokyo.
Select Godzilla 2000, choose Tokyo as your battle location, and defeat Orga to unlock this hidden achievement.
Character-Specific Achievements
These achievements require you to use particular monsters and perform their unique abilities or attacks. Make sure you select the correct character before attempting each challenge.
RAAAAGE!!!
How to unlock: Trigger a Rage Attack.
Build up your Rage meter during a battle and activate a Rage Attack once it’s ready.
Grab ‘N Go
How to unlock: Perform a Rage Grab with Orga.
Select Orga, build up your Rage meter, and activate his Rage Grab during a fight.
Surprise!
How to unlock: Teleport behind an opponent as Gigan.
Choose Gigan and use his teleport ability during a battle to move behind your opponent.
What Lurks Beneath
How to unlock: Grab an opponent while burrowed.
Select Megalon and use his burrowing ability to go underground. While burrowed, grab your opponent to unlock the achievement.
Burning Toes
How to unlock: Cause at least 5 hotfoot reactions with Megalon’s Napalm in a single battle.
Choose Megalon and repeatedly use his Napalm attack. You need to trigger five hotfoot reactions during the same match, so keep using the attack until you reach the required number.
Cold as Ice
How to unlock: Freeze an opponent with the Absolute Zero Cannon.
Select Kiryu and activate its Rage ability, Absolute Zero Cannon, against an opponent. Make sure the attack connects and successfully freezes your enemy.
Tip: Stay relatively close to your opponent when firing. The attack has limited range and buildings can block it.
Blown Away
How to unlock: Knock down an opponent five times in a single match using Rodan’s Wind Attack.
Choose Rodan and repeatedly use Wind Attack until you knock down your opponent five times during the same battle.
It Only Tickles…
How to unlock: Absorb 30 weapon attacks with Mecha King Ghidorah’s shield.
Select Mecha King Ghidorah and use his shield to absorb incoming weapon attacks. Focus on blocking your opponent rather than trying to finish the fight quickly.
A Warrior Most Deadly
How to unlock: Win any match as Destoroyah while spending 0 energy.
Choose Destoroyah and win a battle without using any energy-consuming abilities. Stick to regular attacks throughout the match.
Super Scales
How to unlock: Perform 25 Super Knock Down attacks against King Ghidorah.
Start a fight against King Ghidorah and repeatedly use Super Knock Down attacks until you’ve performed 25 of them.
Super Armor
How to unlock: Perform 25 Super Knock Down attacks against Kiryu.
Choose Kiryu as your opponent and perform 25 Super Knock Down attacks against him to unlock this achievement.
Stop Hitting Yourself
How to unlock: Cause 500 parry reactions with Anguirus’s Shell.
Select Anguirus and use his Shell ability to parry incoming attacks. This is a cumulative achievement, so you can work toward the 500 required reactions across multiple battles.
Finishing Move
How to unlock: KO 50 opponents with a fully charged Godzilla High-Energy Breath.
Choose Godzilla and use a fully charged High-Energy Breath to deliver the final blow against opponents.
You need to actually knock out your opponents with the fully charged attack. Simply damaging them with the breath won’t count.
Big Air
How to unlock: Knock down an airborne opponent with the Cross Attack Beam Uppercut.
Use Mechagodzilla and get your opponent airborne. Once they’re in the air, connect with the Cross Attack Beam Uppercut using Up + Heavy Attack.
Destruction Mode Achievements
Destruction Mode has three achievements focused on destroying the environment, earning points, and throwing buildings.
Total Rampaging Destruction
How to unlock: Earn at least 10,000 points in a Destruction Mode game.
Enter Destruction Mode and destroy as much of the environment as possible. Focus on buildings, vehicles, and other destructible objects to build up your score.
Tank Smasher
How to unlock: Earn at least 1,000 points from Vehicle Destruction.
Play Destruction Mode and focus on destroying vehicles throughout the area. Keep smashing vehicles until you earn at least 1,000 points from vehicle destruction.
Urban Renewal
How to unlock: Throw 10 buildings in a single match.
Pick up buildings and throw them during a Destruction Mode match. You must throw 10 buildings in the same match, so don’t confuse destroying buildings with actually picking them up and throwing them.
Survival Mode Achievement
There is one achievement specifically related to Survival Mode.
I Can Survive
How to unlock: Finish five games of Survival Mode.
Complete five separate Survival Mode games to unlock this achievement. You don’t have to finish all five games consecutively, so you can work on them whenever you want.
Research and Collectable Achievements
These achievements involve earning Research Points, unlocking monsters and locations, and collecting items for your Gallery.
A Good Head for Research
How to unlock: Complete five research projects.
Earn Research Points by playing the game and use them to complete five research projects through the research system.
Lunar Research (Hidden)
How to unlock: Spend 384,400 Research Points.
You’ll need to spend a total of 384,400 Research Points through the research system. This is a cumulative achievement, so continue earning and spending points until you reach the required amount.
Colossal Kaiju Collection (Hidden)
How to unlock: Have 20 original characters researched.
Use the research system to unlock the required original characters. Continue researching monsters until the achievement requirement is met.
A Score of Locations (Hidden)
How to unlock: Have 20 original locations researched.
Spend your Research Points on locations through the research system. You’ll need to research 20 original locations to unlock this achievement.
Hidden Treasure
How to unlock: Locate a hidden Gallery Token.
Explore the different environments and keep an eye out for hidden Gallery Tokens. Finding one will unlock this achievement.
Pipeworks Connoisseur
How to unlock: Collect 20 Gallery items.
Unlock and collect 20 items in the Gallery. Keep progressing through the game and collecting available rewards.
Pipeworks Superfan (Hidden)
How to unlock: Collect 40 Gallery items.
This achievement requires you to collect 40 Gallery items. Continue unlocking collectibles until you reach the required total.
Miscellaneous Achievements
The remaining achievements involve multiplayer battles, powerups, getting frozen, and performing different combat actions.
Better With Friends
How to unlock: Finish a match against a human opponent. Online or local.
Play a match against another human player, either online or locally. Simply completing the match will unlock the achievement.
Don’t Feel Bad…
How to unlock: Get frozen 15 times by the Freeze Tank.
During battles, allow the Freeze Tank to freeze your monster 15 times. This is a cumulative achievement, so you don’t need to complete all 15 freezes in one match.
Vortaak Energy Hoarder
How to unlock: Collect 10 or more powerups in a single battle.
Pick up at least 10 powerups during one match. Keep moving around the arena and prioritize collecting powerups whenever they appear.
Stay Down (Hidden)
How to unlock: Strike a prone opponent 250 times.
Knock down your opponent and continue attacking them while they’re lying on the ground. You need to land 250 strikes against prone opponents.
This is a cumulative achievement, so you can make progress across multiple matches.
Worth the Wait (Hidden)
How to unlock: Cause 250 knockdowns with a charged beam attack.
Use charged beam attacks to knock down your opponents. Keep repeating this throughout your battles until you reach 250 knockdowns.
This is another cumulative achievement, so you don’t need to complete the entire challenge in one match.
Unlocking all achievements in Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered requires a combination of Adventure Mode progression, character-specific challenges, destruction, survival battles, and research collectibles.
Some achievements will unlock naturally as you play, while others require you to use particular monsters and repeat specific attacks several times.
