The latest Fisch update brings even more content with the arrival of Hammi and Echo, two new NPCs with their own questlines and exclusive rewards. Players can unlock new fishing rods, collect cosmetics, and take part in additional activities across the game.

Fisch Venue Pt. 2 Update Guide – Hammi, Echo, New Codes
In this guide, I’ll cover everything included in the Fisch Venue Pt. 2 update, including the new rods, Shark Hunts, Shark Tokens, bat swarms, Companion rewards, and the latest FischFright code.
Hammi Has Arrived – New Hammyshork Rod
A new NPC named Hammi has arrived in Fisch, bringing a questline with exclusive rewards.
Complete Hammi’s questline to unlock the following:
- Hammyshork Rod: A new fishing rod available by completing Hammi’s questline.
- Levelable Shark Plushies: New Shark Plushies that you can level up.
Shark Hunts and Apex Variants
Hammi also introduces a new Shark Hunt activity.
To trigger Shark Hunts, you need to catch fish in abundance areas. These activities give you an opportunity to encounter special Apex variants.
You can also collect Shark Tokens while participating in the new content. Take these tokens to the new Shark Merchant to spend them on available rewards.
Echo Has Arrived – Fangsplitter Rod
Another new NPC, Echo, is now available in Fisch.
Echo has a separate questline that rewards players with the Fangsplitter Rod. You can also earn cosmetics by completing his tasks, giving you more reasons to finish the entire questline.
How to Build Bat Swarms Faster
Echo introduces a mechanic involving active bat swarms.
You can build up these swarms by performing consecutive Perfect Catches. Maintaining your Perfect Catch streak helps increase your active bat swarms and speeds up your progress.
Try to land Perfect Catches consistently while completing Echo’s activities to make the most of this mechanic.
Companion Satchel Rework
The Companion Satchel has received a visual overhaul in this update.
Along with the updated appearance, new options have been added to make the satchel work more like the equipment bag system.
This is part of a larger improvement to the Companion system. A skin and hat preview system is also planned for the following week, allowing players to preview these customization options.
Companion Hat Vouchers
You can now purchase Companion Hat Vouchers from the Flying Dutchman.
These vouchers are available for the remainder of FischFright 3 and will unlock special Companion Hats when they become available the following week.
The announced hats include:
- Classic Pumpkin
- Dominus Formidulosis
- Brighteyes’ Witches Brew Hat
Make sure to purchase the vouchers during the stated availability period if you want to unlock these special Companion customization options.
Nessie Takeover Weekend
The Nessie Takeover Weekend is another major part of this update. If you haven’t caught Nessie or Ghoul Nessie yet, this is your last announced opportunity before they leave.
The event includes two important changes:
- Increased Nessie Chances: Encounter rates for Nessie have been increased across the board.
- Longer Ghoul Nessie Timer: The Ghoul Nessie timer has been doubled.
These bonuses are available for the special weekend only, so take advantage of the increased chances while the event is active.
