If you’re here, you’re probably aiming to clean up every single achievement in the game without missing anything. I’ve gone through it all and put everything together in a way that feels straightforward and easy to follow, whether you’re completely new or just here for the 100%.

Heroes of Might and Magic Olden Era 100% Achievement Guide
The series has been around forever, and honestly, it still carries that old-school magic. Olden Era clearly leans heavily into what made Heroes 3 so special, while still trying to feel modern. If you’ve played before, it’ll feel familiar. If you haven’t, this is still a good place to jump in.
You’re heading into Jadame, dealing with the Hive, and chasing down everything needed for full completion. Nothing too crazy here, but you do need to stay a bit attentive so you don’t overlook anything.
Important Notes
- Most achievements come from the Story Campaign
- Some missions have hidden conditions, so don’t just rush objectives blindly
- The game is still in Early Access, so expect more achievements later
- There are spoilers ahead, so keep that in mind

Basic Education
Go to:
Main Menu → Tutorial → Tutorial Map
You just need to complete both tutorial missions. Nothing tricky here, just follow the objectives and finish them normally.
The second mission ends with an assault on a Necropolis Castle. Once that’s done, you’ll get the achievement automatically along with a completion message.
Bachelor of Heroism
Go to:
Main Menu → Challenges → Challenge Map
You’ll be solving 8 short puzzles here. Each one teaches a specific mechanic. Some are straightforward, others need a bit of thinking, but none are overly difficult once you understand what the game wants from you.
Hero Chaining
Objective: Defeat the enemy hero before the next day starts.
Start by moving heroes in the correct order so you can funnel all troops and artifacts into Aeos The Exalted (level 15).
- Move Clarissa left and pass everything to Vesper
- Move Vesper to the middle road
- Bring Heretic Avis down to that same middle path
Once that’s done, choose perks for Aeos. It honestly doesn’t matter much here. You already have a strong army and solid spells.
Collect everything from your heroes, then go straight for the enemy and finish it.
Counterattack
Objective: Defeat one of the two enemies
You can choose:
- Easier enemy on the east
- Stronger one in the north
Either works.
Start by skipping your first turn with all units using the hourglass. This lets them act twice in the next round.
Focus your attacks on the middle Hive Queen first. Keep in mind your Cavalry does more damage after moving several tiles.
After that:
- Use Griffins to form a horizontal wall
- This blocks enemy movement and protects your Cavalry
- Finish off the remaining Queens carefully
Always check damage prediction before attacking so you don’t lose units unnecessarily.
Spell Levels
Objective: Defeat the enemy using spells
This one is exactly what it sounds like. Focus on spell usage instead of relying on your army. Manage your mana properly and just burn the enemy down.
Flee & Surrender
Objective: Defeat enemy hero
- Upgrade your hero first
- End your turn
- Surrender and pay gold to preserve progress
- Rehire your hero from the city
- Come back stronger with reinforcements and finish the fight
This one is more about understanding the mechanic than difficulty.
Area & Map Spells
Objective: Reach the marked island location
- Visit the Celestial Spire to gain astrology points
- Open the Magic Observatory (eye icon above end turn)
- Learn:
- Shadowflight
- Dimension Door
Use Shadowflight to move through mountains and attack the kittenhorns.
After that:
- Move north until your movement is gone
- Use Dimension Door to teleport directly to the island
Marketplaces & Resources
Objective: Get 10 Crystals, 10 Gems, and 10 Mercury
- Level up your hero and take Smuggler and Merchant perks
- Collect 3 wood stacks
- Build 3 marketplaces in your cities
Once done:
- Go to any city
- Trade resources until you reach the required amounts
Simple economy puzzle, nothing more.
Pathfinding
Objective: Reach the marked location
- As Leon:
- Swap swordsmen with skeletons
- Pick up the boots
- Move as close as possible to John
- As John:
- Swap units back
- Take the boots
- Reach the final marked spot
This is all about optimizing movement and unit swapping.
Weekly Growth
Objective: Build an army and defeat the enemy squad
- Recruit an Angel in your city
- Visit all Radiant Forges to recruit more
- Move close to your city and end turn
After the week resets:
- Recruit Angels again
- Visit additional Forges if needed
You should end up with around 12 Angels before the fight, which is more than enough to win.
That’s everything covered in this section. If you follow this step by step, you won’t miss anything and you’ll move cleanly toward full completion.
