If you’re trying to unlock all of the secret achievements in Smashing Bottles, some of them can be surprisingly easy to miss. The game doesn’t always make it obvious where you need to look, and a few secrets are hidden in menus or even during parts of the game you might normally rush through.
In this guide, I’ll show you how to unlock every secret achievement in Smashing Bottles that isn’t tied to normal game progression. I’ve included the exact places where you need to look and what you need to click or destroy, so you can work through them without spending too much time searching.
One more thing to keep in mind is that finding these secrets doesn’t just give you achievements. The secret achievements also unlock new skins for bats and bottles in the Secret tab of the main menu. There are a few spoilers ahead, though, so if you haven’t finished the game yet, you may want to come back to this guide later.
Smashing Bottles Secret Achievements Guide
The secret achievements are separate from the normal progression achievements. Most of them require you to find a hidden object or interact with something unusual in a menu, skill tree, credit sequence, or other part of the game.
You don’t need to worry about the achievements that aren’t listed here. Those generally just require some time and patience while playing normally.
There are eight individual secret achievements, followed by one final achievement for finding them all.
There’s Secrets?!
This is the first secret achievement you’ll come across.
The achievement is unlocked by finding one of the hidden secrets listed in this guide.
Once you find your first secret, you’ll unlock:
Achievement: There’s Secrets?!
You can start with any of the secrets below, so you don’t have to follow a specific order.
Bottle Farmer
Achievement: Bottle Farmer
Requirement: Find the Farmer secret hiding in Idle Mode.
To find this one, enter Idle Mode and click on the Win tab on the right side of the screen.
Now look toward the bottom-right corner. You should see the Farmer skin hiding there.
Click on the Farmer skin several times to destroy it and unlock the achievement.
It’s a pretty easy secret once you know where to look, but the game doesn’t exactly point you toward it.
Batstache
Achievement: Batstache
Requirement: Find the Batstache secret hiding in the Normal Skill Tree.
For this secret, open the Normal Skill Tree by going to the shop in Normal Mode.
Look carefully at the background of the skill tree. You’re looking for a moustache-shaped object hidden in the background.
Once you spot it, click on it multiple times.
After destroying it, you’ll unlock the Batstache achievement and the corresponding bat skin.
Bottle Suit
Achievement: Bottle Suit
Requirement: Find the Suit secret hiding in the Boss Fight Win Sequence.
This one takes a little more work because you first need to unlock everything in the Normal Skill Tree.
In Normal Mode, purchase all of the items in the Normal Skill Tree. Once you’ve done that, buy the “Pay off your debt” item.
Now fight and defeat the boss.
After winning, don’t immediately leave the final screen. Wait for a costume to appear.
When the costume appears, click on it multiple times to break it.
Doing this will unlock the Bottle Suit secret achievement.
Bathat
Achievement: Bathat
Requirement: Find the Bathat secret hiding in the Main Menu.
This is one of the simpler secrets to unlock.
Go to the Main Menu and start breaking the bottles you can see in the background.
Keep destroying the bottles until the bar at the very top of the screen is completely filled.
Once you’ve filled the bar, the Bathat achievement will unlock.
Chamblue
Achievement: Chamblue
Requirement: Find the Chamblue secret after destroying everything.
For this secret, you’ll need to reach the appropriate point in the Normal Skill Tree.
In Normal Mode, progress through the skill tree until you can “Buy the Universe!”
After buying the Universe, destroy everything.
You’ll eventually reach the credits sequence. Keep an eye out during the credits for Chamblue.
When you find Chamblue, destroy him as well.
Yes, even the credits aren’t safe.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll unlock the Chamblue secret achievement.
Quizzy
Achievement: Quizzy
Requirement: Find the Quizzy secret after destroying everything.
This secret works almost exactly like Chamblue.
In Normal Mode, use the Normal Skill Tree to reach and purchase “Buy the Universe!”
Then destroy everything.
During the credits sequence, look for Quizzy.
Once you find Quizzy, click on him to destroy him and unlock the secret achievement.
If you’re already going for Chamblue, you can work on both of these secrets during the same credits sequence.
Batglasses
Achievement: Batglasses
Requirement: Find the Batglasses secret hiding in the Normal Level Menu.
For this one, play a round in Normal Mode.
After finishing the round, you’ll reach the recap screen where you can choose whether to go back to the shop or Smash Again.
Before moving on, look around the recap frame.
You need to destroy the four bottles surrounding the recap frame.
Once all four are destroyed, the Batglasses secret will be unlocked.
This is another secret that’s easy to overlook because you might normally click through the recap screen without checking the surroundings.
Bottle Streetwear
Achievement: Bottle Streetwear
Requirement: Find the Streetwear secret hiding in the Prestige Skill Tree.
This secret requires you to check the Prestige screen.
In Normal Mode, open the Prestige screen or the Prestige preview. Then unzoom and look around in the empty space or void surrounding the interface.
You may see a streetwear skin appear somewhere in the void.
When you find it, click on it multiple times until you destroy it.
If you don’t see the skin, try going through the prestige process again. You can even try to prestige with 0 shards.
The secret should eventually appear.
Found Them All
Achievement: Found Them All
Requirement: Find every secret.
This is the final secret achievement, and thankfully you don’t need to search for another hidden object.
Simply unlock all of the secret achievements listed above:
- There’s Secrets?!
- Bottle Farmer
- Batstache
- Bottle Suit
- Bathat
- Chamblue
- Quizzy
- Batglasses
- Bottle Streetwear
Once you’ve found all of the secrets, Found Them All will unlock.
The biggest tip I can give you is to check your surroundings before moving on. A lot of these secrets are hidden in places where you’d normally have no reason to click anything.
The Main Menu, skill trees, recap screens, credits, and boss victory screen can all contain secrets, so don’t assume you’re finished just because you’ve completed the main objective.
Also remember that these secrets reward more than just Steam achievements. Finding them unlocks additional bat and bottle skins that you can access through the Secret tab in the main menu.
With all eight secrets covered above, you should be able to unlock the full secret achievement set and finish Found Them All without having to hunt around blindly.
