The combat guide explains most of the combat mechanics of the game and gives tips on how to play all of the fighting styles available in the game.

Unusual Force 4: Like a Legend Guide
General
Alright, let’s say you have no idea what Yakuza is and just started on this game. Well, this is a yakuza-like beat-em-up style game that focuses on strategizing and adapting to your opponent’s fighting style. Enter your fighting stance and begin fighting.
Keybinds – (unbolded = keyboard, bolded = xbox)
- 1/D-PAD UP – Enter Stance
- M1/X – Light Attack (can be used repeatedly)
- M2/Y – Heavy Attack (can be used after light attack)
- Q/B – Skill 1 (S1)
- E/RB/LT – Skill 2 (S2)
- R/RT – Heat Action (S3)
- Space/A/LS – Quickstep
- F/LB – Block
- Shift/D-PAD DOWN – Combat Camera
- G/D-PAD RIGHT – Taunt
- M/D-PAD LEFT – Open Menu
Menu
When starting out, it is recommended you immediately go press the M button. It takes you to the menu where you can purchase fighting styles, essences, heat effects, and songs and gives you settings that you can customize and change to your liking.
Combat Camera
There are 2 options for the Combat Camera, Lock On and Shift Lock. Lock On makes your character automatically look at a single player constantly unless you are at a certain distance. Shift Lock gives you control of the camera and allows you to constantly move the camera using your method of moving the camera.
The Combat Camera can be switched in the Settings menu. Lock On is recommended if you are unable to move the camera fast enough to turn to your opponent, while Shift Lock is recommended if you use advanced camera techniques to get ahead in the fight.

Songs
The way songs work in this game is that you buy a song and it plays when you start fighting someone. There is a game in the game where all of the songs are free without needing to pay for them.
Some songs are prioritized over others and is put in a rank-based priority system. “Style” is the lowest, “W” is medium, and “WW” is the highest priority.
For some odd reason, if you fight someone the same level as you, special songs that aren’t buyable play instead. Some songs can be unlocked by reaching certain levels.
