Broken Blade Dragon Update Guide – Codes, Expanse Raid

The latest Broken Blade update is packed with new content, and if you’ve logged in recently, you’ve probably noticed the brand-new Broken Expanse Raid, the Buster Weapon, an equipment identification system, and several new materials to grind.

At first, the update can feel a little confusing. You’ll need raid keys, new currencies, and plenty of farming before you can craft the latest weapon. After spending some time with the new content, though, the overall progression starts to make sense.

This Broken Blade Dragon Update Guide explains how the new raid works, how to beat each difficulty, and the fastest way to farm Void, Dragon Rubies, Igniter, and other important resources.

Broken Blade Dragon Update Guide – Codes, Expanse Raid

This update introduces several major features, including:

  • Broken Expanse Raid
  • New Buster Weapon
  • Weapon Identification system
  • Ruby Shop
  • Master Level cap increased to 4,000
  • New accessories and titles
  • New crafting materials
  • Limited-time 4x Luck Event (available for two days)

If you’re planning to grind, the luck event is one of the best opportunities to do it.

Redeem the New Codes

The update also includes several new redeem codes.

These codes provide useful rewards, including some of the new materials introduced in the patch.

If you haven’t already redeemed them, it’s worth doing so before beginning the raid grind since every free resource helps.

How to Unlock the Broken Expanse Raid

Before entering the raid, you’ll first need to collect Space Keys.

The process is simple:

  1. Travel to the newest map.
  2. Defeat the enemies roaming around the area.
  3. Each defeated enemy has a chance to award Space Keys.
  4. Collect enough keys to enter the raid.

The raid supports up to three players, making it much easier with a group.

Raid Difficulties

The Broken Expanse Raid features three difficulty options:

  • Common
  • Hard
  • Nightmare

Each difficulty increases the boss’s health and rewards, making higher difficulties much more profitable if your build is strong enough.

How the Raid Boss Works

The boss isn’t a straightforward damage sponge.

Instead, the fight has a mechanic you’ll need to complete before dealing full damage.

During the encounter:

  • Destroy the crystals that appear around the arena.
  • Once they’re broken, the boss becomes vulnerable.
  • Focus all your damage during these windows.

Ignoring the crystals will dramatically slow down your clear time.

Common Difficulty

Common mode is designed for players learning the raid.

The boss doesn’t deal overwhelming damage, and once you understand the crystal mechanic, the encounter becomes fairly simple.

For most mid-to-endgame players, Common should be a comfortable farming option.

Hard Difficulty

Hard mode is a noticeable jump in difficulty.

Compared to Common:

  • The boss has much higher health.
  • Fights take significantly longer.
  • Positioning becomes more important.
  • Mistakes are punished more heavily.

Despite the higher health pool, the mechanics remain mostly the same.

Nightmare Difficulty

Nightmare is where the real challenge begins.

The boss has an enormous amount of health, and defeating it can take several minutes even with powerful endgame gear.

During testing:

  • The fight lasted around six minutes.
  • Constant use of abilities was required.
  • Damage output became the biggest limiting factor.

If your build isn’t close to endgame, you’re generally better off farming Hard difficulty until your character becomes stronger.

Best Strategy for Nightmare

If you’re attempting Nightmare, these tips make the fight much smoother.

Break Every Crystal Immediately

Your highest priority should always be destroying the crystals.

The faster they’re removed, the sooner you can damage the boss again.

Save Powerful Skills

Don’t waste your strongest abilities while the boss is protected.

Instead, wait until the crystals are destroyed so every major cooldown deals maximum damage.

Bring Strong Endgame Weapons

Weapons with high burst damage dramatically reduce the fight length.

Long encounters increase the chance of mistakes, so stronger gear saves both time and resources.

Consider Running With a Team

Although the raid can technically be completed solo, bringing additional players speeds up every phase and makes Nightmare much more manageable.

How to Farm Space Keys Fast

Since every raid attempt requires keys, you’ll spend a lot of time farming them.

The fastest method is simply defeating enemies throughout the newest zone.

To improve efficiency:

  • Stay in the newest area.
  • Eliminate enemies continuously.
  • Collect Space Keys as they drop.
  • Repeat until you have enough for multiple raid runs.

A private server can make this much easier since you won’t have to compete with other players for enemy spawns.

Raid Rewards

Completing the raid rewards several valuable materials, including:

  • Void
  • Dragon Rubies
  • Arc Stones
  • Soul Stones
  • Igniter
  • Void Chests
  • Additional Keys

Higher difficulties provide significantly better rewards, making them worth farming once your build is strong enough.

How to Farm Void

Void is one of the primary materials introduced in this update.

The best way to collect it is by repeatedly clearing the Broken Expanse Raid.

You’ll also receive Void Chests, which can contain additional rewards such as:

  • More Void
  • Raid Keys
  • Other useful materials

Running consecutive raids is currently the most efficient farming method.

How to Farm Dragon Rubies

Dragon Rubies are another important currency earned from raid rewards.

These are primarily used in the Ruby Shop, where you can purchase valuable progression items.

Since the Buster Weapon requires a large number of Dragon Rubies, it’s usually best to save them instead of spending them immediately.

How to Get the Igniter

The Igniter is one of the rare materials required for crafting the new Buster Weapon.

Like Dragon Rubies and Void, it’s obtained through the Broken Expanse Raid.

Because it’s needed in smaller quantities than some other materials, don’t waste it on anything unnecessary if you’re aiming for the newest weapon.

New Weapon Identification System

The update also introduces a weapon identification feature.

Using this system allows weapons to roll various bonus stats, including improvements such as:

  • Critical Damage
  • Critical Chance
  • Damage
  • Life Steal
  • Damage Reduction
  • Aggro

Some rolls are considerably rarer than others, so expect to reroll several times before finding an ideal combination.

Ruby Shop

The new Ruby Shop includes several useful items that can be purchased with Dragon Rubies.

Available rewards include materials, accessories, and other progression items.

However, if your main goal is maximizing your account strength, it’s generally better to save your Dragon Rubies until you can afford the Buster Weapon, as it’s expected to become one of the strongest weapons currently available.

Buster Weapon Requirements

Crafting the new Buster Weapon requires a substantial amount of materials.

These include:

  • Buster Pieces
  • Igniter
  • Dragon Rubies
  • Fire Seeds
  • Gold
  • Gems

While the grind looks intimidating at first, consistent raid farming gradually builds up every required resource.

The Broken Expanse Raid is easily the centerpiece of this Broken Blade update. Between the new raid mechanics, the weapon identification system, Dragon Rubies, Void materials, and the powerful Buster Weapon, there’s plenty of endgame content to work toward.

If you’re just starting the grind, focus on farming Space Keys, clearing Common or Hard difficulty consistently, and saving every Dragon Ruby you earn. Once your build becomes stronger, you’ll be in a much better position to tackle Nightmare efficiently and gather the materials needed for one of the game’s strongest new weapons.
