FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE is a turn-based role-playing game where you assemble a party, battle monsters across varied regions, and follow a cinematic storyline. The progression blends tactical combat with detailed exploration across several story-heavy acts. If you plan to complete everything, following a reliable final fantasy resonance achievement guide saves you plenty of backtracking.
Early story milestones like clearing Chapter 1 in A Journey Begins or wrapping up Olderion Blues pop automatically as you travel. The tougher challenges demand defeating specific enemies and gathering elusive items scattered across later chapters. Keeping an eye on how to unlock every milestone early prevents wasted time on duplicate playthroughs.
This walkthrough breaks down every achievement across all chapters, enemy targets, and item requirements. You will find exact criteria for each milestone, separating automatic story clears from the missable challenges so you do not leave anything behind.

Head over to the Grandshelt Colosseum and fight your way through the bracket to reach the next tier. Finishing all the leagues nets you three separate trophies.

Arena Fighter
Clear all Brawler League fights in the Colosseum.
Keep climbing the ranks in Grandshelt to finish off the second tier.

Career Fighter
Clear all Gladiator League fights in the Colosseum.
Beat the final league matches in the arena to wrap up the tournament chain.
Combat and Bosses

Magicite Hunter
Defeat a cave master.
Your earliest shot at this is in Marauder Cave, just east of Siren’s Tower in Chapter 1. I’d wait until around level 15 before heading inside.

The Bigger They Are…
Defeat 5 cave masters.
These are tough superbosses hiding inside caverns scattered all across the world map.

The Harder They Fall
Defeat all cave masters.
You need to hunt down all 15 of them: Marauder, Shoggoth, Rukh, Mindflayer, Gogmagog, Pyroviper, Salome, Jotunn, Malboro Varietas, Tartarosaurus, Catacumba, Necromonarch, Humbaba, Titanoraidos, and Malboro Menace. Track them down and clear them out!

Struck Gold
Defeat a King Gil Snapper for the first time.
This Level 49 rare beast is weak to Ice. You can hunt it down in Pharm, and it drops a handy Phoenix Pinion.

Priceless Experience
Defeat a Metal Gigantuar for the first time.
Sitting at Level 52, this cactus doesn’t have any elemental weaknesses. Look for it around Pharm; taking it down rewards you with a Remedy.

The First Step Towards Mastery
Reach max Mastery Rank on any vision for the first time.
Keep a vision equipped while grinding battles, and its Mastery Rank will steadily climb up to max.

Vision Connoisseur
Reach max MR with 8 visions.
Swap out your visions once they max out and keep fighting until you’ve fully mastered eight of them.

Keep Them on Their Toes
Stagger enemies 1,000 times.
No real need to go out of your way for this one—it should pop naturally from regular combat encounters as you play through the story.

Resonance Rapid Fire
Use Resonances 400 times.
Fire these off regularly during random encounters, and you’ll easily hit the target before the endgame.

My Name Is Ultima…
Defeat Ultima Weapon.
A fearsome Level 70 superboss found in Ardra. Interestingly, it’s weak to every single element: Fire, Ice, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Water, Light, and Dark. Defeating it drops a Megalixir.
Item Collection

Those Who Defy Fate
Unlock all party members.
This is purely story-related and impossible to miss. You will recruit all eight companions as you play: Rain, Lasswell, Fina, Lid, Nichol, Dark Fina, Jake, and Sakura.

Kweh!
Obtain a chocobo.
Tied directly to the main storyline, so you’ll unlock this naturally as you advance.

Airship Enterprise
Obtain an airship.
Story-based and completely unmissable. You’ll get your wings later in the campaign.

Princess’s Reward
Receive a reward at Oblivion Palace for the first time.
Head just east of Grandport Harbor to find the princess’s palace. Hand over the first tablet shards you find during your travels to pick up your first reward.

Memento
Help the enigmatic princess regain her second memory.
There are 99 tablet shards hidden throughout the world. She hands out prizes every time you turn in four more shards, so keep collecting them to unlock her memories.

Gil Comes and Goes
Spend a total of 100,000 gil.
Don’t sweat this one too much. You’ll naturally earn and spend plenty of coin on gear, items, and upgrades as you grind through random battles.

Making Lid Proud
Gain a total of 1,000,000 gil.
A million gil sounds steep, but between boss rewards, side content, and general grinding along the way, your wallet will hit seven figures before you know it.

The Weapon that Suits the User
Have Aileen craft a weapon for the first time.
Aileen is an expert weaponsmith who shreds enemy defense and smiths gear with adamantite. Bring her the required mats to forge your very first piece.

The Weaponsmith
Have Aileen craft weapons for all party members.
Keep bringing adamantite and crafting materials to Aileen until she has forged custom weapons for every single member of your main crew.

Ancient Artifact
Obtain one of the Twelve Legendary Arms for the first time.
These are exceptionally powerful endgame weapons. You’ll score your first one after taking down one of the tough endgame boss encounters.

Legendary Arms
Obtain all Twelve Legendary Arms.
You need to track down and claim all twelve pieces: Sheratan, Ernato, Alhena, Tegumin, Adafera, Vindemiatrix, Brachium, Shaula, Nunki, Dubby, Sadalsudh, and Alphegue. Each piece requires sitting through an introductory event, winning a fierce guardian battle, and completing its weapon-awakening trial.

Awakened Light
Awaken a vision to its limit for the first time.
Chat with the Moogle of Light found in town spots. Spend your collected Magicite to forge deeper bonds and awaken any vision to its maximum rank.

Visions Assemble
Obtain 10 visions.
Visions are locked inside the Sanctums scattered around the world map. Hunt down ten of them to pop this.

Will Crystallized
Obtain all visions.
You’ll need to track down all 26 visions across every role:
Sentinels: Cecil, Charlotte, Warrior of Light, Wilhelm
Commandos: Camille, Noctis, Onion Knight, Sephiroth, Shantotto, Squall, Terra, Victoria
Breakers: Aileen, Bartz, Clive, Cloud, Firion, Lightning, Tidus, Tronn, Vaan, Y’shtola
Medics: Ayaka, Leah
Saboteurs: Amelia, Zidane

Esper’s Covenant
Gain help from 3 espers.
Espers give Fina extra summons in battle. You’ll run into them across main story events and hidden optional dungeons, but you have to beat them in combat first to win their allegiance.

The Sovereigns of the Planet
Gain help from all espers.
Recruit all 9 espers across your journey:
1. Siren: Siren’s Tower (Chapter 1)
2. Ramuh: Mount Thunderclap (Chapter 2)
3. Carbuncle: Solve the Ruby Cave riddle (Chapter 3)
4. Titan: Grandshelt desert (Chapter 4)
5. Ifrit: Zoldaad southern volcano (Chapter 5)
6. Leviathan: Complete the “Nichol’s Duty” quest in Olderion (Chapter 5)
7. Shiva: Island southwest of Mysidia (Chapter 5)
8. Odin: Clear the “Iron Splitter” sidequest in Gorona (Chapter 6)
9. Bahamut: Reach him via airship following the Chapter 7 cutscene

Mechabo Mania
Upgrade Mechabo to his ultimate form.
Lid’s mechanical buddy Mechabo can pick up a ton of useful combat skills through upgrades. Farm the necessary monster drops and hand them over to Verun at the Dwarven Forge. You can talk to Verun whenever you need to check which parts you’re still missing.

Ultimate Fantasy
Obtain all achievements.
Unlocked automatically once you knock out every other achievement on the list!
Work through the main campaign steadily before hunting down rare drops, since story progression unlocks the areas where those elusive enemies roam. Drop your thoughts in the community hub if you find an easier path through the later chapters.
