In this post, we will go through the Slayers 2 clan tier list and look at the different clans based on their usefulness in PvP, PvE, damage, defense, progression, and specific builds. If you’re trying to figure out which clan is worth keeping, this guide should help you understand what each one brings to the table.
I’ll start from the lower tiers and work our way up to the strongest clans. The beginner clans are placed in D and C tier since they are mainly designed for starting players and generally don’t offer enough useful abilities to keep using them for long.
Once we get into B, A, and S tier, the clans become much more interesting. Some are designed around specific breathing styles or builds, while others provide useful buffs that can work across several different play styles.
Slayers 2 Clan Tier List 2026 – Best Clans for PvP, PvE- D and C Tier Clans
The beginner clans are placed in D and C tier because there isn’t too much to explain about them. These clans are mainly meant for getting started, so once you have access to a stronger clan, you’ll generally want to replace them.
If you’re just beginning your Slayers 2 journey, don’t worry too much about having one of these clans. You can work toward getting a better clan as you progress.
B Tier Clans
B tier is where the clans start becoming much more useful. They may not have enough advantages to compete with the strongest clans, but they can still be very effective depending on how you play.
Urokodaki
Urokodaki is mainly useful because of its impressive passive damage boost. The problem is that it has a strong connection to Water Breathing, which is currently considered one of the weaker breathing styles in the game.
Because of that limitation, I wouldn’t expect Urokodaki to compete with the higher-tier clans, even though its passive damage boost is still useful.
Ubuyashiki
Ubuyashiki is an interesting option if you’re trying to use a more off-meta build.
One of its most useful abilities is its block-ignoring skill, which can be particularly useful in PvP. However, Ubuyashiki doesn’t provide the same kind of damage boosts that some of the stronger clans offer.
That lack of damage makes B tier a reasonable place for it.
Tomioka
Tomioka has some very useful cooldown resets, and those can make a big difference during combat.
The problem is that much of the clan’s usefulness relies on Water Breathing. Since Water Breathing isn’t currently one of the strongest styles, the cooldown resets are doing most of the work here.
For now, that keeps Tomioka in B tier.
Tamayo
Tamayo can be particularly useful for team-based PvE. Its healing, cooldown resets, and different debuffs can provide a lot of support when you’re playing with other people.
The downside is that many of its abilities are situational, and it doesn’t have many passive buffs to make it universally useful.
For that reason, I would keep Tamayo around B tier.
Shinobu
Shinobu is another clan that can shine in group PvE.
Its zone abilities and ally buffs make it useful when you’re fighting alongside other players. Its poison damage is also one of the abilities that remains useful across different play styles.
If you like playing support or helping your team during PvE content, Shinobu can be worth considering.
A Tier Clans
Now we get into A tier, where the clans become considerably stronger. These clans have powerful buffs and abilities that can work across a much wider range of situations.
Shinazugawa
Shinazugawa provides a lot of overall damage buffs along with useful poison abilities.
What makes it even more attractive is that it also gives you progression boosts for weapons and EXP. That combination makes Shinazugawa a very well-rounded clan.
If you want something that doesn’t force you into one very specific build, this clan has plenty to offer.
Iguro
Iguro benefits heavily from Serpent Breathing buffs, which is already a strong combination if you’re building around that breathing style.
It also provides poison bonuses and a powerful ability for dealing damage to bosses.
Because of the combination of breathing buffs, poison bonuses, and boss damage, Iguro has a lot of value in both progression and combat.
Doma
Doma is more focused on defensive play and dueling.
Its auto-dodges and clone swap abilities can make it much harder for opponents to deal consistent damage to you. On top of that, it provides a strong damage factor boost and bonuses for demon progression.
If you’re building around survivability and one-on-one combat, Doma has a lot going for it.
Himejima
Himejima gives you a huge damage factor boost, along with damage reduction and damage amplification.
Those abilities make it useful across many different game modes. However, some of its defensive benefits become less effective when you’re playing endgame content where avoiding damage completely is more important.
Even with that limitation, Himejima remains a very strong all-around clan.
S Tier Clans
S tier is where we get into the clans with some of the strongest combinations of abilities in Slayers 2.
These clans can provide major damage boosts, defensive abilities, unique effects, and powerful synergies with specific builds.
Kamado
Kamado gives you a strong combination of damage and stamina factor buffs.
It also provides a useful stun for combos, demon regeneration, and Sun immunity. Another interesting ability is Combat Intuition, which gives you additional damage when you lose HP.
This makes Kamado useful for both offensive builds and situations where you’re taking a lot of damage during combat.
Agatsuma
Agatsuma works extremely well with Thunder Breathing.
It boosts Thunder Breathing’s damage while also providing damage amplification, extra damage when you’re at low HP, and burn effects.
If you’re building around Thunder Breathing, the synergy between the clan and the breathing style is a major part of what makes Agatsuma so powerful.
Kocho
Kocho is especially strong if you’re building around poison.
It provides poison and insect damage buffs, useful debuffs, and complete poison immunity. Because of this combination, it is particularly suited to a dedicated poison build.
If poison is the main focus of your character, Kocho gives you a lot of abilities that directly support that play style.
Soyama
Soyama is another extremely powerful option because of its combination of offensive and combo abilities.
It provides a free counter, a massive damage factor boost, a stun that can extend combos, and additional damage boosts.
That makes it useful for a wide variety of builds rather than limiting you to one specific play style.
Uzui
Uzui combines strong offensive buffs with several defensive abilities.
You get damage amplification, extra damage, auto-dodges, poison resistance, and even auto-block abilities.
Because it combines offensive pressure with defensive tools, Uzui can feel like a more advanced version of the defensive and dueling style offered by Doma.
Rengoku
Finally, we have Rengoku, which sits at the top of the S tier list in the original ranking.
Rengoku is heavily focused on damage and is built around a massive damage factor boost, burn damage, and burn-enhanced M1 attacks.
It also provides a free combo extender, damage reflection, fire resistance, and immunity to one of the game’s powerful combo extenders.
If you’re building for high DPS and want a clan that focuses heavily on offensive pressure, Rengoku has a very strong combination of abilities.
Complete Slayers 2 Clan Tier List
Based on the ranking covered in the guide, the clans are grouped like this:
D and C Tier
- Beginner clans
- Mainly useful for starting players
- Generally worth replacing as you progress
B Tier
- Urokodaki
- Ubuyashiki
- Tomioka
- Tamayo
- Shinobu
A Tier
- Shinazugawa
- Iguro
- Doma
- Himejima
S Tier
- Kamado
- Agatsuma
- Kocho
- Soyama
- Uzui
- Rengoku
The biggest thing I would keep in mind is that a clan’s usefulness depends heavily on your build.
For example, Kocho makes a lot of sense for a poison-focused build, while Agatsuma has strong synergy with Thunder Breathing. Iguro is similarly useful when you’re building around Serpent Breathing.
On the other hand, clans such as Kamado, Soyama, Uzui, and Rengoku offer a broader combination of offensive and defensive abilities.
So before you decide to reroll your clan, take a look at the abilities you actually want to use. A clan that works perfectly with your build can be much more useful to you than simply choosing one because it appears high on a tier list.
That covers the Slayers 2 clan tier list, from the beginner clans all the way through the stronger B, A, and S tier options. Your own experience may also be different depending on whether you mainly play PvP, PvE, solo, or with a team.
