I’ve put together everything currently known about spell combos and how they interact. Some of this stuff is straightforward, but a few interactions are easy to miss unless you actually test things out.
If you notice anything missing or something doesn’t seem right, it’s probably still being figured out.
Far Far West Spell Combos and Interactions Guide
This is just a full list of how spells react with each other and with the environment. Some combinations are obvious, others are a bit more hidden.
Acid
Any Acid-type spell reacts when hit with Fire or Electric damage. When that happens, it triggers an explosion based on the element used.
Geyser can be thrown onto a lightning puddle, and it will spawn three additional geysers.
Bubble has a couple of different interactions. If you throw it onto a fire puddle, it creates a fire tornado that moves around and deals damage. If you throw it onto an electric puddle, it splits into three bubbles.
Acid Rain combined with Strikes turns the whole thing into a thunderstorm that hits random enemies with lightning.
Cactus
This one was just added with Early Access, so there isn’t anything confirmed yet.
Electric
If you hit a Wisp with Electric damage, or if the Wisp targets an electrified enemy, it turns into an electric wisp that spreads and applies burn damage.
Using Electric damage on a Mino will cause it to deal electric damage to nearby enemies.
Strikes used together with Acid Rain creates that same thunderstorm effect that hits random enemies.
Boing combined with Thunderstrike increases your movement speed.
Portal has a really useful interaction. Any spell cards thrown through it will duplicate.
Fire
Fireball can instantly destroy gold veins, so you don’t need to use a pickaxe for those.
Firebeam used on any Acid puddle or geyser creates a fire tornado that moves around dealing damage.
Wisp can also be affected by Electric damage. If you hit it with Electric or have it target an electrified enemy, it becomes an electric wisp that spreads and applies burn damage.
That’s everything that’s currently known. Some of these combos are really strong once you start chaining them properly, so it’s worth experimenting a bit to see what works best for you.
