To get both Blood Demon and Frieren in A Universal Time, you should start by collecting four Grimoires. You need three for Frieren’s quest and one more to craft the Bloody Tome for Blood Demon.
Antique Chest Locations
Antique Chests can spawn at several locations around the map:
- Dragon’s Cavern: Check the area around the cavern and the entrance.
- Prison: Look around the prison for Antique Chests.
- West Park: Check the area near West Park.
Antique Chests can contain valuable loot, including Grimoires. Some chests spawn as Mimics, so be ready to fight when you approach them.
Important tip: The chests do not have to be Mimics to give you a Grimoire. Regular Antique Chests can also contain them, so check every chest you find.
How to Defeat Mimics Quickly
When fighting a Mimic, you may encounter a QTE. If you successfully complete it, the Mimic is instantly defeated, saving you from having to finish the fight normally.
Keep farming Antique Chests until you have collected four Grimoires. This will help you progress Frieren’s quest and prepare the materials for Blood Demon.
How to Get Greater Demon Horns
After collecting the Grimoires, your next step is to obtain Greater Demon Horns. Regular Demon Horns are not the item required to craft Blood Demon’s Bloody Tome.
You can find demons around the Floating Village, but the Greater Demon Horn drops from the Deceiver.
To get it, talk to Hecate and start the Deceiver Slayer Quest. Follow the objectives to defeat the required demons and summon the Deceiver. Defeat the boss and collect the Greater Demon Horn when it drops.
You may need to defeat the Deceiver more than once to get enough horns for both Blood Demon and Frieren’s quest progression.
