So if you are jumping into this and just want a clean rundown without running back and forth every few minutes, this is exactly what you need. I went through all of this myself, and honestly, once you know where things are, it saves a ton of time.
This guide covers the maps for both floors and all the key locations. Nothing extra, just straight to what matters.
Maps
So first things first, the maps.
These are mainly there to show you where each book belongs. Early on, you will probably rely on them a lot, but once you start unlocking perks and getting used to the layout, you won’t need to keep checking them every time.
First Floor Map
This shows all the placements for books on the ground level. Pretty straightforward and easy to follow once you start organizing things.
Second Floor Map
Same idea, just for the upper level. You will be going up here quite a bit once you start progressing, so it’s good to get familiar with it early.
Keys Locations
If you want to figure things out on your own, stop here. Everything below this point gives exact locations.
Crimson Octagon Key
This one is basically handed to you right at the start, but it’s still easy to miss if you’re not paying attention.
As soon as you load into the game for the first time, look right beneath the crest. The key is hanging there.
Once you pick it up, you unlock the jump ability, which is absolutely necessary for getting the rest of the keys. So yeah, this is your starting point for everything else.
Golden Diamond Key
This one is a little more hidden.
Head over to the stair banisters near the Crimson Chest area. You’re looking for one of those decorative vases sitting along the railing.
Jump on top of the vase and check inside it. That’s where the key is.
Picking this up gives you +3 Carry Capacity, which makes managing books way less annoying.
Azure Star Key
Now head up to the second floor for this one.
Go to the opposite side of the room and look toward the back shelves. The key is sitting up on the top shelf, specifically on the right side.
You’ll need to jump up to reach it.
This one gives you +2 Carry Capacity, stacking nicely with the previous upgrade.
Emerald Club Key
This one is honestly the easiest to overlook.
Go to the large table area and check the benches on the right side, near the scale.
The key is actually buried under a pile of books. So you’ll need to move things around a bit to uncover it.
Once you grab it, you unlock Sprint, which makes moving around the library feel way better.
That’s pretty much everything you need.
Once you have all the keys:
- Movement becomes faster and smoother
- Carrying books is less of a hassle
- You spend way less time backtracking
After that, the whole experience just flows a lot better.
