Fisch Tidefall Guide Update – Cave System, Obelisk Puzzles

Tidefall is not just another fishing spot, it is a massive underground ocean cave system that feels more like a hidden underwater civilization than a simple biome. It sits deep beneath the Ocean at coordinates GPS 3223, 130, 850, and you cannot casually swim inside. The entire area is built around danger, pressure, exploration, and high-tier rewards, which makes it one of the most important late-game locations in Fisch.

Fisch Tidefall Guide Update – Cave System, Obelisk Puzzles

The atmosphere inside Tidefall is dark, mysterious, and heavily lore-driven. Dripping water, glowing crystals, abandoned divers, and ancient stone structures give it a haunted yet fascinating vibe. Players do not come here just to fish, they come here to uncover secrets, solve puzzles, and access some of the strongest items in the game.

How to Enter Tidefall (Step-by-Step)

Your journey begins at the Underwater Opening, which is somewhere in the Ocean. You will notice broken boats floating nearby with Deep Divers sitting inside them. These NPCs are not just decoration, one of them gives you a critical quest.

When you talk to the right Deep Diver, you receive the quest “Tidefall: Lost Diver.” Your task is to rescue a lost diver somewhere inside the cave system and bring them back safely.

Once you complete this quest, you are rewarded with an Abyssal Tonic. This item is absolutely essential because it temporarily protects you from underwater Pressure. Without it, your character will start taking damage and eventually drown before reaching Tidefall.

After drinking the Abyssal Tonic, you can finally dive into the Underwater Opening and descend into the cave. The moment you pass through, the game plays a cinematic cutscene to introduce you to Tidefall properly.

The Central Hub of Tidefall

The first place you reach is simply called Tidefall, which acts as the main hub of the entire cave network. Think of this as the city center of the underwater world.

When you arrive here for the first time, you are greeted with a dramatic cutscene that makes the environment feel alive and significant. After that, you are free to explore.

This central area is filled with Tidefall Diver NPCs, some of whom provide dialogue, hints, or interactions that expand the lore of the region. More importantly, this is where you can buy powerful and rare items.

Here is what you can purchase inside Tidefall and why each item matters:

Abyssal Tonic – C$500
You can buy more of this in case you want to re-enter later without repeating the quest.

Bait Crate – C$120
A useful storage option for your fishing bait.

Conception Conch – C$444
A special item tied to unique fishing mechanics.

Dripstone Collapse Totem – C$35,000,000
This is extremely expensive but allows you to trigger the rare Dripstone Collapse event, which only happens in Tidefall.

Fallen Rod – C$175,000
A strong rod designed for deep-sea and high-difficulty fishing.

Metal Strongbox – C$2,250
A secure storage container for valuable items.

Quality Bait Crate – C$525
An upgraded version of the regular bait crate.

Super Flipper – C$30,000
A movement item that helps you swim faster underwater.

Tidemourner Head – C$750,000
A rare and powerful piece of equipment.

Withered Spear – C$1,750,000
One of the most expensive and elite items in Tidefall, mainly used for advanced fishing or combat scenarios.

Additionally, you can find a Drowned Appraiser in this area. This NPC offers a special appraisal service that increases fish mutation rates and weight but charges much more money in return. If you are farming rare or massive fish, this is a huge advantage.

The Four Paths of Tidefall

From the central hub, there are four different paths leading deeper into the cave system. Each path takes you to a different sublocation, and each one is tied to its own Fish Hunts.

This means Tidefall is not just one fishing zone, it is a network of multiple high-level biomes connected underground. Every path feels distinct, with different layouts, dangers, and fishing opportunities.

Exploring all four paths is highly recommended if you want to fully experience Tidefall and unlock its best rewards.

Dripstone Collapse Event

Tidefall is the only location in the entire game where the Dripstone Collapse event can occur. This makes it a uniquely valuable area for players chasing rare fish or event-specific loot.

You can either wait for this event to happen naturally or force it using the Dripstone Collapse Totem purchased in the hub. Serious late-game players often farm this event because it can drop extremely valuable fish and materials.

Obelisk Puzzles Explained Simply

There are five Obelisks scattered throughout Tidefall, and each one presents a different riddle or puzzle.

These are not random challenges, they are carefully designed brain teasers that test your observation, memory, and understanding of the game world. Solving them rewards you with special items or progression bonuses.

You cannot brute-force these puzzles, you actually have to think carefully, read clues, and sometimes even explore other parts of the cave system before returning with the correct answer.

Many experienced players consider the Obelisks one of the most interesting features of Tidefall because they mix fishing gameplay with adventure and puzzle-solving.

Tidefall is one of the most important endgame locations in Fisch for several reasons.

First, it is tied to rare fish that cannot be found anywhere else. Second, it contains some of the most powerful items in the entire game. Third, the Obelisk puzzles add real depth instead of simple grinding. Finally, the Dripstone Collapse event makes it a hotspot for elite players.
