Hunt down every missable unlock with this quick run through Tenebris Somnia achievements. Don't skip key secrets and clear your run today!

Hunting down every unlock in Tenebris Somnia gets tricky fast when fourteen missable achievements lurk right past ordinary doors and easy-to-ignore objects. If you rush forward without interacting with your surroundings, you will lock yourself out of a full completion run.

Fourteen distinct achievements are permanently missable if you advance the story too quickly, including optional reads like the old book required for De Relictis.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements: Unlock Missable Trophies

Right at the start of the game outside Iván’s apartment, ignore your keys and interact with his closed door ten times to pop Maybe He’s In The Bathroom instantly. Once you reach the second-floor apartment, walk into the room with the computers and revolver next to the TV, then examine Iván’s photo five times for Thinking About Him, huh?.

Tenebris Somnia features 14 missable achievements in total.

I’ve split them into categories below and sorted them roughly by how early you can grab them or start making progress.

De Relictis

Read every page of the old book.

While “Devora” and “Have You Chosen… Wisely?” are mandatory story steps, it’s actually possible to roll credits without reading this book. Don’t finish the story before flipping through every single page.

Maybe He’s In The Bathroom

Knock on Iván’s door 10 times. (Missable)

Right when the game kicks off and asks you to use your keys on Iván’s apartment door, hold off. Just keep interacting with the locked door 10 times in a row instead to pop this one early.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Exploration & Secrets 7

Thinking About Him, huh?

Examine Iván’s picture 5 times. (Missable)

The first time you reach the second-floor apartment, head into the side room right by the TV with the computers and the revolver. Walk up to the framed photo of Iván and inspect it 5 times.

One More For The Road

Drink some Lavendoleum while you’re already at full health.

Nothing fancy here, just pop a healing draught when your health bar doesn’t need it.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Exploration & Secrets 9

Classics Never Die

Pick up the iron pipe. (Missable)

You’ll find the pipe inside the bathroom, but you need the screwdriver to pry it loose. You can snag the screwdriver off a box sitting on the stairs leading up to where you play the film reels.

Stella Plena

Unlock every star locker. (Missable)

Heads up: the Sanguis boss fight is your hard point of no return for these, so hunt them down as soon as possible since a few hide in tricky corners. If you need a map for every star and locker, there’s a handy walkthrough right here:

Bad Puppy

Have Sanguis smash every mannequin. (Missable)

When facing the big hound boss, bait its lunges toward all the upright mannequins in the arena so it crushes them for you. Take it slow and make sure you don’t accidentally take out the boss before all the dummies are trashed.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Exploration & Secrets 12

You Can Stop Now

Keep running down the infinite hallway. (Missable)

During one of the final puzzle sequences, you’ll find yourself trapped in a looping green corridor. Rather than solving the riddle right away, just sprint to the left until the unlock pops.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Exploration & Secrets 13

Heart of Lead

Take down every single relicta ghost. (Missable)

When you’re pushing for Ending #2 late in the run, hunt down every relicta ghost you can find. Don’t just clear the path leading toward Séptimo Arte; sweep every single floor thoroughly.

Tracking can be a bit finicky on this one. I had to run through it a few times before it registered properly, so try to take them out individually instead of stacking multi-kills, and hang around until their golden particles completely fade away.

Combat

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Combat 14

Wrench Queen

Beat the entire campaign using only the wrench. (Missable)

Pretty straightforward rule: don’t swing, aim, or fire any other weapon at all during the playthrough. Stick purely to your trusty wrench from start to finish.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Combat 15

He Just Wanted a Hug

Ditch an enraged Vorax by slipping into another room before it detonates.

You’ll need firearms to trigger this. If you’re doing your wrench-only run, simply save beforehand, pull off the trick, and reload your save.

Pump lead into one of the hefty Vorax monsters until it glows bright red and charges straight at you, then immediately step through the nearest doorway. You’ll hear the blast go off in the other room, and the achievement will pop without you even having to peek back inside.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Combat 16

The Two Stooges

Kill two or more foes in a single strike (excluding Carnitos minions).

The elevator corridors work wonders for this. If you spot a lone walker, leave it roaming around so it groups up when another respawns beside it.

A blast from the shotgun or a heavy swing of the wrench makes this a breeze. Just drop a quick save first and don’t be afraid to take a hit to line them up.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Combat 17

Iron and Wax

Defeat Obscuratus relying solely on the wrench. (Missable)

Obscuratus is the game’s opening boss, waiting in the candle-filled room you sneak into through the window. It pairs naturally with your Wrench Queen playthrough, so crack its skull with your wrench and leave the guns alone.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Combat 18

Exhaust Pipe

Take down Fumus using nothing but the iron pipe. (Missable)

Careful here: swinging the pipe will ruin your Wrench Queen run, so keep a manual save ready beforehand to reload right after.

Fumus is the second boss you face after using the animal skull key, easily recognized by the hollow void in the center of its face. Grab the pipe from the bar’s restroom and smack it down.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Combat 19

Valiant Little Taylor

Wipe out three Carnitos spawns in one hit. (Missable)

Carnitos is your third boss encounter, accessible after using the chisel. During the fight, it’ll spit out fragile minions that go down in a single blow from anything in your arsenal. Herd three of them into a tight clump and sweep through them in one swing.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Combat 20

Butcheress

Defeat Carnitos without suffering any damage. (Missable)

You’ll face Carnitos right after unlocking the door with the chisel.

You can actually cheese the encounter’s AI quite easily: plant your character firmly in the bottom-right corner and fire away. If you’re doing a wrench run, step out just an inch to lure the minions into a straight line toward you, then time your swings as they approach your safe pocket.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Combat 21

Acrophobia

Die from Lacuna’s grab attack. (Missable)

Lacuna is the final encounter you run into when pursuing Ending #1. In Phase 1, she lets out a loud shriek before leaping high into the air. When you see her launch upward, simply stand dead still and let her snatch you up for an instant kill.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Combat 22

Devoured

Get swallowed whole by Hermes. (Missable)

Hermes is the final boss waiting at the climax of Ending #2.

Once you reach Phase 2, its giant gaping maw will be clearly visible in the arena. Walk right up to the jaws and let yourself get eaten to grab the achievement.

Endings

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Endings 23

SOLVE ET COAGULA

Get Ending #1.

Make a manual save as soon as you can so you can easily reload for the other route. Once you get the Aurifer (the yellow knife), spare every single Relicta and head straight inside the Séptimo Arte Theater and Gallery.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Endings 24

MAGNUM OPUS

Get Ending #2.

Save beforehand so you do not have to replay the whole game. You can easily pair this run with the missable Heart of Lead achievement.

Once you pick up the Aurifer knife, go on a rampage and slay plenty of Relicta before walking into the Séptimo Arte Theater and Gallery.

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Endings 25

VIVUS EX MORTIBUS

Get Ending #3.

After clearing both Ending #1 and Ending #2, start up a fresh run and grab the book resting on the table. You need to push reasonably far into the story, tackling alternate versions of puzzles before completing them normally.

With the bible in your hands, take care of these three tasks:

Tenebris Somnia Achievements - Endings 26

RENUNTIATIO

Get Ending #4.

Once you have finished both Ending #1 and Ending #2, launch a brand-new game. Immediately spin around and unlock the exit door with your keys to leave the apartment complex.

Take your time poking around every creepy room before you push the plot forward. Don’t forget to flip through every single page of the old book before the final credits roll so you don’t miss De Relictis right at the finish line.
