Sol’s RNG Boss Raid Update – New Boss, Codes, Patch Notes

The Boss Raid update in Sol’s RNG brings new content, challenges, and rewards for players looking to push the limits of their luck-based grind. Here’s everything you need to know about Season 2, the new Sandworm boss fight, raid mechanics, and rewards.

Season 2: What’s New

  • Duration: Season 2 will last 50 days.
  • Rewards:
    • Raid Potions – Found in the pass, giving +100% luck for 15 minutes. Perfect for farming rare drops.
    • New Aura – Hidden deeper into the season rewards. While the aura itself doesn’t appear in the usual slots, it’s tied to a new system involving potions and items.
    • Scorpion Item – Earned through the pass. It may connect to unlocking the new aura.

Tip: Always claim your coins early so you don’t waste time on progression.

The Boss Raid: How It Works

Entry & Lobby

  • Boss raids are separate from the main game.
  • Up to 20 players can enter a boss fight lobby at once.
  • Anyone from your server (public or private) can join your raid.

Aura Selection

  • You get 30 seconds to pick your aura before the fight.
  • Once chosen, you cannot switch during the raid.
  • You can use your own auras or rent from three random purple auras, rotated weekly.
    • Rental auras deal 50% reduced damage, so they aren’t ideal.
  • Important: Avoid the Content Creator aura—it’s bad for this fight.

Fighting the Sandworm Boss

  • Boss Name: Sandworm (based on the giant desert crawler).
  • Health: ~38,420 HP.
  • Behavior:
    • Moves unpredictably across the massive arena.
    • Launches players into the air with strong attacks.
    • Can pull players into quicksand pits that drag you under, killing groups at once.

Death & Respawns

  • Dying has no penalty—you can respawn and continue fighting.
  • Because of this, raids are more about persistence than survival.

Battle Duration

  • Expect fights to last around 20–25 minutes with a full group.
  • Solo runs can actually be faster if you’re strong enough, since you won’t lose time chasing the boss across the map.

Rewards & Drops

At the end of the raid, you’ll see your stats:

  • Time taken
  • Deaths
  • Damage dealt
  • XP earned
  • Loot gained

New Key Item

  • Potion of the Dune:
    • Grants Ber Ber’s Gift status = 10,000% luck on your next roll.
    • Also gives a 1 in 1,000 chance to unlock a secret aura (???).

This potion is the main path to the new secret aura, making raids essential if you want the latest flex in Sol’s RNG.

Hell Mode (Future Content)

  • Developers teased a Hell Mode difficulty for raids.
  • Expect much harder mechanics and higher rewards in upcoming updates.

Delta Package – Pay-to-Progress Option

For players who don’t mind spending Robux:

  • Delta Package:
    • 40 Mega Potion Chests
    • 60 Rare Potion Chests
    • 100 Potion Chests
  • Much better value than the older Gamma Package.
  • Not necessary, but speeds up grind if you’re willing to pay.

Tips for Beating the Raid

  1. Pick the right aura – Choose high-damage ones like Hades or Cosmos, not flashy but weak ones.
  2. Play solo if geared – The fight may be faster than waiting on teammates.
  3. Watch for pits – Stay mobile to avoid being dragged under.
  4. Use Raid Potions smartly – Pop them before grinding after a raid to maximize your loot luck.

The Boss Raid Update in Sol’s RNG is a major shift from pure rolling to active cooperative gameplay. With raids, potions, and the chance to unlock the mysterious new aura, this update adds real endgame content for grinders. While raids can drag on, the Potion of the Dune makes it worthwhile, offering an absurd 10,000% luck boost and access to a secret aura.
