Arena Breakout InfiniteTier List (Season 3)
S Tier – The Absolute Best
Let’s start with the H4, which is hands-down the most dominant assault rifle in the current meta. It has an extremely fast rate of fire at 900 RPM, very low recoil, and a blisteringly high muzzle velocity that makes it feel like you’re deleting players off the screen. Even when you’re running with A1 rounds, the H4 still shreds. Its recoil can be tuned to feel practically nonexistent, and the ergonomics make it feel lightweight and responsive. It is expensive to build, no doubt, but every credit is well spent. If you want a gun that does everything at the highest level, the H4 is simply unmatched.
Right next to it is the AR-57, which many players consider the closest thing to a budget-friendly meta rifle. It delivers an excellent combination of high RPM, amazing recoil control, and high damage output. What makes it stand out is how stable it feels even during intense fights. It’s just as fast as the H4 at 850 RPM, and with the right build, it stays laser-stable. It’s also cheaper to run, making it a top-tier option for players who want top performance without dropping half a million.
The AK-12 rounds out the S tier as another incredible pick. It might not look flashy on paper, but once you actually use it, you realize how effective it is. It fires 545×39 ammo, which includes some of the most powerful rounds in the game (BP and BS), and it does so with excellent control. The rate of fire is solid, the handling is smooth, and it feels great across every range. It’s also not too demanding in terms of cost, making it a very balanced powerhouse. It’s that rare gun that does well in almost any situation — close quarters, medium range, even tap firing across long sightlines.
A Tier – Strong, Consistent, and Worthwhile
The M4 is a classic that still holds up. With its good rate of fire, controllable recoil, and solid versatility, it feels reliable in just about every fight. It may not stand out in any one area the way an H4 does, but it’s a dependable choice that performs consistently well, especially if you pair it with the right ammo. You’ll want to make sure the recoil is dialed in and that you’re using a solid scope setup, but once built properly, the M4 is a very safe and smart pick.
Then there’s the AUG, which is one of the most underrated ARs in the game. It fires fast, has low recoil, and can be built effectively for under 200k. What holds it back a bit is its 30-round mag, which can cost you fights if you’re not careful. Still, its handling is tight, its recoil is minimal, and it can beam players reliably at all ranges. For anyone looking for a mid-cost rifle that punches above its price, the AUG is a great option.
The T951, often called the “budget god,” is surprisingly stable for its cost. Even with a basic setup under 200k, it performs better than you’d expect. Recoil is low, the firing power is solid, and it doesn’t demand expensive attachments to be viable. If you invest a bit more, it becomes incredibly competitive — even standing shoulder to shoulder with rifles twice its cost. This gun is a favorite for players who want reliable performance without breaking the bank.
The F2000 might be the most slept-on weapon in the game. With 850 RPM, strong recoil control, and a great feel in-hand, it’s extremely effective. What sets it apart is the 50-round mag that’s cheaper than most others, giving it a strong advantage in longer fights. It’s slightly less powerful than the H4 or AR-57 but costs far less and still holds its own in the current meta. Many players see it as the poor man’s H4, and honestly, that comparison is pretty fair.
The AEK used to be an easy S-tier contender until its recent nerf. It still fires at 800 RPM and remains very strong in fights, but the drop to medium firing power does sting a little, especially considering how expensive it is to build. That said, it still has excellent recoil and feels really smooth to use. If you’re flush with cash and want something that looks and feels premium, the AEK can definitely get the job done — just know it no longer stands at the top like it used to.
Another one that deserves mention is the AK-102. While it lacks high RPM and high damage output, it makes up for that with rock-solid recoil and easy handling. It’s one of the most stable rifles in the game, and when built right, it feels like a laser. Its price is fair — not exactly cheap, but not overly expensive either. If you value control and consistency over sheer fire rate, the AK-102 is a great choice.
Lastly, the Ace31 is another solid budget pick that received a bit of a buff this season. It’s stable, it hits hard with 7.62×39 rounds, and it’s very forgiving to use. It doesn’t outshine anything in particular, but it’s easy to like and easy to build. It lands somewhere between A and B tier, but if you value price-to-performance, it absolutely deserves a place in this group.
B Tier
The MDR is a decent option if you’re trying to build on a budget, but it does have issues — mainly with horizontal recoil. It’s got decent firing power, a manageable rate of fire, and it performs well in close-to-mid fights. However, it doesn’t feel great at longer ranges unless you put in work to tame that horizontal sway. It’s a classic budget rifle, but one that requires a bit more effort to master.
The TO3 feels like a sibling to the T951. It hits hard, has good RPM, and is generally easy to handle. The only reason it lands slightly lower is due to its horizontal recoil being harder to control, especially at range. In close fights, it holds up, but once enemies are farther out, it can get tricky to land consistent shots. It’s not a bad weapon by any means — just slightly less reliable than others in its class.
SCAR-L is an interesting one. It hits hard, especially when using high-tier ammo like N5s, and is extremely accurate at midrange. The big downside is its very low fire rate — 500 RPM — which makes it weak in close quarters. It’s a rifle that rewards precision and positioning, but you’ll get punished hard if you try to use it like an M4 or H4. It’s situational, and because of that, it’s not a top recommendation unless you know how to play around its limitations.
C Tier
The FAL used to be one of the strongest rifles, but it’s fallen off significantly. It now suffers from excessive recoil and limited range, and it’s expensive to kit out. It only really works when run as a semi-auto DMR with premium ammo like M62, which makes it cost-prohibitive for what it actually delivers. Unless you’re playing a very specific build, it’s just not worth using anymore.
The AK-74N, once known as the budget king, has also lost its crown. It has a painfully low fire rate and requires heavy investment in attachments just to make it feel decent. With medium firing power and 550 RPM, it simply doesn’t hold up in today’s meta, especially when so many better options exist for the same price or less.
The G3 is another rifle that feels dated. It’s got high damage but terrible recoil, low RPM, and costs a lot to run effectively. It’s kind of like a worse SCAR-L — all the drawbacks, none of the rewards. Unless you’re specifically trying to challenge yourself, it’s better to steer clear of this one.
The MCX is more of a submachine gun than an assault rifle. It’s very limited in range and really doesn’t compete well in mid-to-long-range engagements. It has its moments up close, but there are simply better SMG-style weapons if that’s the playstyle you want.
D Tier
The AKM looks cool and sounds powerful, but it’s not worth building. You’d have to spend around 350k just to make it viable, and at that price, nearly every other rifle outperforms it. With 600 RPM and mediocre recoil control, it’s just not competitive.
The SG550 also lands at the bottom. Despite some players trying to make it work, it suffers from low RPM, medium firepower, and high cost. It’s one of those guns that looks like it should be good, but in practice, it’s just not.
The AKS-74U is completely outclassed in every way. It’s underpowered, unstable, and limited in effective range. There’s really no scenario where it beats out other options.
Then there’s the PCC9, which is… confusing, to say the least. It has to be tap-fired in semi-auto, uses 9×19 ammo, and performs worse than most SMGs. Even with maxed recoil tuning, it simply doesn’t belong in the current assault rifle meta.
The H4, AR-57, and AK-12 clearly lead the charge as the best-performing assault rifles in the game. If you’re playing to win and don’t mind spending, these are the guns to chase. For budget builds, the T951, AK-102, and Ace31 all bring incredible value and are more than capable of holding their own in any lobby. Everything else falls into place depending on your playstyle, map choice, and willingness to invest in high-end builds.
