Mecharashi Camilla Guide – Best Builds, Talent, Skill

Camilla Kurs is the newest S-Rank Fighter Pilot in Mecharashi, bringing a unique heavy SD-style combat experience with a focus on solo dueling, multi-hit combos, and magnetic armor survivability. While she looks powerful and stylish, the real question is — is she worth pulling right now?

Let’s go over everything you need to know: her abilities, recommended setups, and overall value for both F2P and endgame players.

Mecharashi Camilla Guide – Best Builds, Talent, Skill

Talent Breakdown

Camilla’s talent focuses entirely on fighting alone.

Base Talent (A–A2):
When ending her turn with no allies within two tiles, Camilla gains three stacks of Magnetic Armor. Each time she takes damage, one stack is consumed, reducing the next hit’s impact.

Advanced Talent (A3+):
Her attacks gain bonus damage if she attacks without any link attacks — rewarding pure solo engagement.

This design makes her much stronger when operating independently. In team fights or link setups, she actually loses part of her potential.

Skill

Skill 1 – Dual Combat

Camilla’s defining skill.
Consumes all AP to enter a duel mode with a single target for multiple rounds.

  • Effect: Uninterruptible duel where enemies can’t counter using abilities like Vigilant Shot.
  • Damage Scaling: Each AP above 4 increases her damage multiplier.
  • Duration: Lasts for 4 rounds or ends early if the enemy can’t counterattack.
  • Drawback: No link attacks trigger during or after the duel.

Avoid using this against snipers or units that can’t counterattack — the duel will end prematurely, wasting your AP.
This skill shines in boss battles or when isolating strong targets for burst damage.

Skill 2 – Precision Combo

A more general-purpose attack skill suited for mob clearing.

  • Effect: Attacks twice and increases the chance to hit body parts with each strike.
  • Synergy: Works perfectly with skills or modules that reward body hits (like increased damage or break bonuses).
  • Passive Option: Can gain +20% damage when striking the body — great for consistent DPS builds.

This skill is best for general missions or event fights where you need multiple hits to chip away at armor or parts.

Skill 3 – Utility Options

For her third slot, Camilla can pick between utility or support-style skills:

  • Command Passive:
Great if you can’t reach enemies on the first turn. It lets her trigger her Magnetic Armor and prepare for the next engagement.
  • Support Passive:
If you’ve built enough crit, you can use this to gain +1 extra AP, enabling more frequent dual attacks.

Her Ultimate Skill is more niche. It redirects enemy targeting, forcing foes to attack Camilla only, protecting nearby allies. However, it doesn’t work on every boss, making it a situational tool rather than a core ability.

Movement and Mobility

Camilla has limited movement by default:

  • Base Movement: 3 tiles
  • Rainbow Backpack: +1 movement (total 4 tiles)
  • Straight-Line Movement Bonus: +1 additional move in a straight path due to her passive

Currently, the Rainbow Accelerator (future craftable module) will allow all classes, including Heavy SDs, to gain improved mobility — a massive upgrade once available.

ST (Special Tactics) Suit – Dragon Style ST

Camilla’s exclusive ST looks great and performs decently, but it’s not a must-pull.

  • Full Set Bonus (4-piece):
Activates after spending 6 AP in a turn, granting:

    • +16% Damage
    • +16% Hit Rate

This is good early on, but later in the game, other STs offer stronger pure damage boosts (25%+). Her ST caps at around 60% total boost if maintained perfectly, which is harder to do every turn.

Rainbow Set Alternative:
Provides sustain through HP recovery after combat, useful if you’re not attacking every turn or prefer survivability.

Verdict: Her ST is viable but not endgame material. Pull only if you love her playstyle or design.

Recommended Gear Setup

Weapons

Double Pile Bonkers (Default):
Heavy SD melee weapons similar to Honk’s setup.

Best Damage Option:
Damage Jammer — improves output significantly.

Future Upgrade:
Heavy SDs will be able to use Rainbow Accelerator, improving movement and consistency.

Recommended Modules

Best modules currently available for Camilla:

Dretalon XR: Optimal for raw damage output.

Surfas Modules: Viable for close-combat builds.

A-Rank Alternatives: Flintstone or Cowolin (4-piece) for balanced performance.

These combinations emphasize her role as a close-range solo fighter.

Neural Drives

Sector 1:
Ideal for Camilla. Focuses on damage boosts and flurry strike triggers, fitting her aggressive nature.

Sector 2:
Focuses on survivability:

  • +10% Hit Rate
  • +15% HP recovery after destroying an enemy
  • Bonus Magnetic Armor when taking damage

Free-to-Play Tip:
Don’t spend your bionics or bindings on her. Sector 1 drives work well even without heavy investment.

Event & Upcoming Content

Camilla’s debut coincides with the September Event, featuring:

  • Phase 1: Lure enemies and destroy barrels
  • Phase 2: Collect chests
  • Phase 3: Boss fight (co-op mode, two teams versus a large enemy)

This is also where players can earn the first free Light Upgrade Kit, which is best saved for Asa SD or a future limited pilot.

Should You Pull Camilla?

Short Answer: No, not for F2P players.

Camilla is strong, stylish, and great at what she does — but her ST and overall efficiency don’t justify spending precious resources. You can obtain her ST later through mission farming, and she’s not required for meta progression.

However, if you:

  • Enjoy solo combat builds
  • Focus on PvP duels or boss content
  • Already have strong gear from past banners

Then she’s a solid addition to your roster.
