This Silly Polly Beast Guide explains how to get all 32 achievements, covers missable items, the skate levels, every ending, and a simple save-backup trick to make multiple endings easier to obtain. It’s for players who have at least one full playthrough under their belt — it spoils story beats and locations.

Chapter 1 — Early Decisions & Kiosk
Fast Ending (missable)
FAST ENDING — When offered help by the Tormented early on (after climbing from the pipe), choose No. That triggers the fast ending instantly. You’ll be returned to the choice, so you can retry later.
Kiosk achievements
HARMFUL (missable): Fire your Demolver twice inside the Kiosk. The shopkeeper will ban you for a minute. After you complete the game and gain the Eye of Arkan, the shopkeeper will compliment you instead and won’t ban you anymore.
WHAT AM I: After acquiring horns (Chapter 2), go to the Kiosk bathroom, look in the mirror — you’ll break the mirrors and unlock the achievement.
Other Chapter 1
HOLEY HOOD — Put the hood on after your horns have grown (the hood will tear around your horns).
ROCK FIGHT BACK — While fighting, time a skateboard attack to hit an enemy’s thrown rock back at them.
Chapter 2 — Outskirts
Contains several missable events and short windows.
THEY ARE TOGETHER NOW (missable): Before leaving for the Outskirts, accept the dough bird from the kid by the train. Later, after the third portal, place that bird on the corpse in the destroyed repeater section.
BOTTLE BREAKER: In the dump (after the first portal), shoot all 14 bottles. Doing so opens a container with an item and grants the achievement.
DANCING QUEEN (very short window, missable): After entering the second portal and passing the imp corpse puzzle, you’ll arrive at the rooftop dance scene with Kato and Kai. Near the portal is a “DANCE DANCE” wall — stand there for a few seconds and you’ll trigger the achievement. The window is short; don’t jump off the ledge too early.
MUSICBOX (missable): Defeat the miniboss Eye that drops a music box. Return to Eyey in the Metro and give him the music box to get three -50% coupons and the achievement.
THE CONCERT IS OVER: Destroy the four speakers behind the Rabbit Mask performer to trigger this.
Chapter 3 — Old Town
A few missable interactions; most are obtainable if you explore.
NICE TRY — Complete Skate Level 1 (Metro → Old Town). If you fail and skip, you won’t get the achievement; you can replay the skate level later or post-game.
OVERHEARD OLDCITY: Put your hood on and eavesdrop at the lit window before the ladder to the cannon; you’ll hear a conversation and unlock the achievement.
REST AT HOME (missable): Find the injured resident after the house explosion and drag them back to their flat to earn the achievement and a red coat.
IT (missable): Before the graveyard, enter the furniture pipe to get the imp, then pick up the falling book while dragging the imp; Polly will read it and you’ll get the achievement.
RAT KEBAB: Talk to the rat-grilling girl in the graveyard, agree to fetch the pig mask from the church, follow the sequence — you’ll get her story and a rat kebab achievement.
Chapter 4 — Orphanage (highly missable content)
Most achievements here are missable because the orphanage is destroyed after the boss.
COME FLY WITH ME — Complete Skate Level 2 (Metro → Orphanage). Replayable post-game.
TRAPS DESTROYER (missable): After switching off basement power, locate the three traps on the orphanage’s second floor and disable them (shoot them with your Demolver). Disabling them may draw Valentina’s attention.
INCORRECTABLE (missable): Get trapped twice; the sequence results in you losing a leg and the achievement triggers on death.
BURN BURN — Burn Mrs. Valentina in front of the furnace (unmissable during that sequence).
NEVER EVER — After burning Valentina, repeatedly kick her face to unlock.
MELANCHOLY — Sit on the chair on the balcony (right before the boss ladder) and rest a moment to trigger the thought/achievement.
Chapter 5 — Campsite & Finale
I WILL SURVIVE — Complete Skate Level 3 (campsite portal → Higher Demon Egg). Replayable post-game.
UNCHAINED — Finish the final sequence by cutting the chain in the razor-blade tunnel; unmissable at the end of the final boss.
Endings — How to get A and B variations
There are four main ending outcomes: Save This World (A/B) and Leave This World (A/B). Which variant you get depends on how many imp powers you retain (horns/tail) at the finale.
B Endings (partial powers)
- Leave This World — B: Leave the world while retaining some imp power (partial).
- Save This World — B: Save while retaining partial imp power.
Typical first playthroughs often end up in a B ending because traps in the orphanage remove horns or other power-halving events occur.
A Endings (full or no imp power)
- Leave This World — A: Leave the world with no imp power (you must remove all horns/tail).
- Save This World — A: Save the world while retaining full imp powers (keep horns and tail).
How to remove all imp powers (to get Leave A)
Complete these steps before the ending:
- Get caught in a trap at the orphanage at least once (removes some horns).
- During the campsite sacrifice ritual, cut off your own horn.
- Sell your tail to the shopkeeper (the tail sale option appears in the bathroom shopkeep menu on the right). Selling the tail nets 1000 money.
You’ll know you succeeded when your stamina bar shows no extra imp segments and the final outro button reads “Don’t keep the Lighter”.
How to keep full imp powers (to get Save A)
- Avoid getting caught in the orphanage.
- Accept Kai’s offer at the campsite to use his horn (keeps yours intact).
- Keep your tail (do not sell it).
When done correctly your stamina will be maxed and the final outro button will say “Don’t try to shoot Polly”.
Multiple endings in one run (exploit / oversight)
There is a current oversight that allows obtaining up to all four endings in one playthrough:
- Use the shop at the end of the game to remove or retrieve your tail (removal/retrieval mechanic exists at the end shop; retrieving costs 2500 money — or 1250 with a coupon).
- After finishing the game, go back to the Outskirts and defeat the first Demon Boss again. A cutscene will play as before but the game may softlock afterward.
- Alt+F4 (force close) and restart the game; your save will have been written with updated horn/tail state, allowing you to branch into other endings without replaying the entire game normally.
This makes it possible to: remove powers and do Leave A, get B variants by restoring tail/horns via the shop, then replay the first Demon to regain horns for Save A — all in one overall run. Use caution when using this exploit and consider backing up saves first.
Copying & Backing Up Saves (Windows)
If you want to make save backups to experiment with endings without losing progress, follow these steps.
Where saves live (Windows):
- Open File Explorer and type
%appdata%into the address bar. - This brings you to
Roaming. Go one folder up toAppData, then openLocalLow. - Inside
LocalLow, find the folderAndrei Chernyshov→Silly Polly Beast.
Save files are labeled:
_SPBdata_0.spb= save slot 1_SPBdata_1.spb= save slot 2_SPBdata_2.spb= save slot 3
To copy a save slot:
- Close the game. Copy the file you want to duplicate (for example
_SPBdata_0.spb) and paste it in the same folder. It will create a copy called_SPBdata_0 - Copy.spb(or similar). - Rename the copy to the target slot filename (for example
_SPBdata_2.spbto overwrite slot 3 with slot 1’s data). - Start the game and load the slot you overwrote.
Notes & safety:
Only copy files while the game is closed.
If a save slot hasn’t yet been used, its corresponding file may not exist; you can still create the filename by renaming a copied file to the unused slot name.
I am not responsible for lost saves — always keep an extra copy elsewhere (e.g., on the Desktop or in cloud storage) before making big changes.
