Rabbit & Steel Unlock Extra Mode DLC Content, Items

Rabbit and Steel hides a surprising amount of content behind progression flags that are never fully explained in-game. Difficulties unlock quietly, characters appear after specific boss milestones, item sets require oddly specific behavior, and music tracks are gated behind some of the strangest challenges the game asks of you.

Rabbit & Steel Unlock Extra Mode DLC Content, Items

This guide exists as a single, complete reference for unlocking everything currently available in Rabbit and Steel, including DLC content. It focuses on what you actually need to do, not speculation, shortcuts, or datamined assumptions.

If you are missing a character, wondering why Lunar is still locked, or trying to figure out why a music track refuses to unlock, this guide should answer it.

DIFFICULTIES

Rabbit and Steel difficulty progression is linear and tied directly to boss clears.

  • Hard Difficulty

DLC EXTRA BOSS

Extra Boss kill requirements are not fixed. If you unlock a reward via its challenge instead of kill count, future unlock tiers shift earlier. Because of this dynamic system, community kill counts are unreliable beyond confirmed thresholds.

Until contradicted by new information, this guide does not list speculative numbers.

Rabbit and Steel rewards experimentation, stubbornness, and occasionally doing things the game never explicitly encourages. Unlocking everything is less about perfect runs and more about understanding what the game is quietly tracking in the background.
