Welcome to Doll Town Walkthrough Wiki & Achievement Guide

Alright, so if you’ve just started Welcome to Doll Town, you probably noticed something immediately — it’s really dark. Not just “spooky dark,” but the kind where you genuinely can’t tell if you’re walking toward a doorway or a wall. Because of that, a lot of players get lost, miss items, or walk past important paths multiple times.

So think of this guide like someone sitting next to you, gently telling you where to go, what to look for, and when something important is about to happen. We’ll also cover every achievement so you don’t accidentally miss any.

Achievements — Explained Naturally So You Don’t Miss Them

Let’s start with achievements first, because some of them happen quickly and it’s easy to skip them without realizing.

The First Achievement (You Can’t Miss It)

You’ll get this one naturally just by starting the game and progressing through the opening moments. There’s nothing special you need to do — it just unlocks as part of the story.

Petting the Cat (Don’t Forget This!)

When you enter the convenience store for the first time, slow down for a moment.

Look behind the counter. There’s a little black cat sitting there quietly. Walk up to it and interact — Yumi will pet the cat, and you’ll instantly unlock the achievement.

A lot of people rush straight to the register and miss this entirely, so take that extra second.

Walking to the End of the Road

Early in the game, when you’re walking along the main road, try walking all the way to the very end instead of turning back immediately.

Once you reach the far edge, the achievement pops automatically.

It’s simple, but very easy to overlook.

Your First Doll Fight

In the back room of the store, when you pick up the crowbar, a doll will wake up and attack you.

Defeat it normally, and you’ll unlock the achievement for killing your first doll.

Nothing special required — just survive the fight.

Finisher Move Achievement

During doll fights, sometimes you’ll see a prompt for a finisher move.

When this appears, press the button immediately instead of continuing normal attacks.

Doing this once will unlock the achievement.

Most players naturally get this during their first or second combat encounter.

The Principal Dialogue Achievements (Two Opposites)

Later in the school flashback when you play as Mio, you’ll talk to the principal at the end of a hallway.

Here’s where it gets interesting.

If you spam through the dialogue really fast, he’ll actually stop the conversation and restart it. The first time this happens, you get one achievement.

But if you let the conversation play slowly and completely without interrupting, you’ll unlock a different achievement instead.

So basically, one rewards impatience — the other rewards patience.

The Freezer Moment (A Dark Choice)

During the second hide-and-seek memory, you’ll follow Tsumugi into a freezer room.

Instead of hiding, you have the option to lock her inside.

It’s a disturbing moment, but doing it unlocks the achievement instantly.

Dracula the Cat Achievements

Later, you’ll play as Dracula, the cat.

In Mio’s bedroom, jump onto the laptop. That alone unlocks one achievement.

Later, when sneaking through the mansion, successfully escaping without getting caught by the schoolgirls unlocks another.

If you get caught, don’t worry — you can retry.

The Final Choice Achievements

At the very end of the game, you’ll face a major decision.

If you choose to continue attacking Reina, you unlock one ending achievement.

If you choose to stop and put down the saw, you unlock the alternate ending achievement.

You’ll need two playthroughs to get both.

Walkthrough

Now let’s walk through the entire game in a smooth, natural way.

Arriving in Doll Town

The game begins with Yumi stepping off a bus into a strange, quiet town.

After reading texts from her mom, just walk straight down the road.

You’ll soon meet Frangin, who introduces themselves and leads you toward the store.

Just follow them — there’s nothing tricky here.

Your First Day at the Store

Outside the store, you’ll receive texts explaining the owner isn’t around and that the key is hidden nearby.

Walk around the side of the building. You’ll see two vending machines.

Check under the first one — that’s where the key is.

Once inside, take a moment to adjust to the darkness.

Remember to pet the cat behind the counter before doing anything else.

When you approach the register, a doll blocks your path.

Don’t panic. Walk toward the back of the store, then return — the doll will have moved.

Go behind the counter, turn on the register, and the lights will finally come on.

This also unlocks the back room door.

Inside, pick up the crowbar, defeat the awakened doll, grab the letter, and open the freezer to continue.

The Hide-and-Seek Memory

Now you’re playing as Tsumugi in a childhood memory.

Walk left toward the boxes to find Mio.

After she starts counting, walk right through the area until you reach the freezer room.

Climb inside to trigger the next scene.

Finding Frangin at the School

Back as Yumi, leave the store area.

The school is located to the left.

Walk there to find Frangin waiting.

The Manor and Temple Puzzle

Your goal becomes entering the manor, but the keypad is missing a number.

Head to the temple area and interact with a beggar doll to receive money.

Take the money to the gacha machine near the store and use it.

You’ll receive a lego piece.

Return to the manor, insert the piece, and enter the code 58008.

Inside, fight dolls, collect keys, and defeat the boss to proceed.

Mio’s Grave Scene

You now play as Mio’s father in a graveyard.

Walk forward, ignoring ghost appearances.

Mio’s grave is the decorated one at the far left.

Interact with it to continue.

Exploring the School and Restoring Power

Back at the school as Yumi, enter through the janitor’s door.

You’ll eventually reach a generator that needs five breakers activated.

Carefully explore nearby rooms and staircases to find them all.

Once done, return to the generator and restore power.

Tsumugi Rescue

Later, as Mio, find your backpack in the locker room trash.

Then locate Tsumugi injured in a classroom.

Pick her up and carefully carry her out of the school.

Playing as Dracula the Cat

This section becomes a stealth puzzle.

Use jumping, distractions, and careful movement to avoid enemies.

Successfully escaping completes this tense sequence.

Final Flashback and Ending Choice

In the final scene, you play through the confrontation with Reina.

You must choose whether to continue the attack or stop.

Your decision determines which ending and achievement you receive.
