Tree of Savior M Tier List – Best Classes

Swordman Tree

If you enjoy durability, close-combat fighting, and staying alive even in chaotic battles, the Swordman tree is built for you. These classes rarely die and are excellent for solo players.

Swordman (Basic Class)

This is the definition of a beginner-friendly class. You get high HP, strong defense, and reliable skills with low cooldowns. It’s perfect for long farming sessions because you can literally leave it running overnight without worrying about survival.

The downside is damage. Against certain enemy types — especially Devils — the output can feel painfully low. In late game, you’ll usually need teammates or companions to amplify your damage.

Skill Priority:
Thrust → Passive → Double Slash → Endure

Highlander

Highlander is all about mobility and utility. You can move quickly, apply bleed effects, and break enemy armor — which makes you extremely valuable in raids.

However, some skills require charging and can miss fast enemies. It also consumes a lot of SP due to cooldown resets.

Skill Priority:
Crosscut Combo → Cartar Stroke → Passive → Skyliner

Peltasta

This is the ultimate tank. Nothing kills you easily. It shines in PvP and hard survival content where durability matters more than damage.

But leveling feels slow because AoE damage is limited. You’ll often rely on teammates or companions for damage.

Skill Priority:
Passive → High Guard → Combo Skills

Murmilo

Murmilo is where Swordman truly starts to feel powerful. It balances offense and defense extremely well, and its AoE skills make mob clearing smooth.

It requires good gear and critical stats to really shine, so it’s better picked later rather than early.

Skill Priority:
Headbutt → Frenzy Slash → Cassis Crista → Passive

Doppelsoelder (Master Class)

A heavy damage dealer with strong AoE potential. When properly geared, this class can melt enemies quickly.

The catch is it can’t function alone — you must combine it with other class skills.

Skill Priority:
Great Finish → Great Swing → Passive

Barbarian (Master Class)

Think of this as a utility boost. It adds extra buffs and AoE skills to improve overall performance. Not flashy, but very helpful in builds.

Wizard Tree

Wizard classes dominate in damage output. They clear mobs quickly and excel in both PvE and raids, but they are extremely SP-hungry.

Wizard (Basic Class)

This class offers strong damage while remaining surprisingly tanky thanks to Energy Shield. It becomes very enjoyable after reaching higher ranks.

Early game can feel slow and SP management is a constant challenge.

Skill Priority:
Energy Shield → Earthquake → Passive → Energy Bolt Combo

Elementalist

Arguably the strongest DPS class in the game. It deals massive damage in both mobbing and boss fights.

However, positioning is critical — if enemies move out of your skill zones, your damage drops drastically.

Skill Priority:
Elemental Stripe → Passive

Pyromancer

This class dominates mob clearing. It can top dungeon clear times easily and still performs well against bosses.

The main drawback is RNG mechanics and animation lock on key skills.

Skill Priority:
Flame Incarnate → Meteor → Fireball → Passive

Cryomancer

Cryomancer focuses on control rather than raw damage. Freezing and slowing enemies makes it extremely annoying in PvP.

Damage improves significantly at higher ranks.

Skill Priority:
Freezing Sphere → Passive → Ice Bolt Combo

Linker (Master Class)

A powerful support DPS that amplifies both your damage and your party’s output. It’s not meant to be played alone but works incredibly well in group setups.

Keraunos (Master Class)

This class provides free passive damage through shock effects. It becomes powerful when properly geared.

Archer Tree

Archers are versatile damage dealers with no SP problems. They scale extremely well into late game but require more manual control.

Archer (Basic Class)

Strong in both bossing and AoE scenarios, and very resource-efficient. However, survivability is low and autoplay performance isn’t great.

Skill Priority:
Concentrate → Passive → Full Draw → Barrage

Ranger

One of the smoothest leveling classes thanks to high mobility and frequent skill usage. It’s also the best Archer class for autoplay.

Skill Priority:
Passive → Critical Shot → Barrage → Parley

Fletcher

The highest single-target damage dealer among Archers. Perfect for boss fights but slow in leveling due to limited AoE.

Skill Priority:
Special Arrow → Divine Machine Arrow → Spiral Arrow → Passive

Mergen

Excellent at AoE clearing and survival. However, it requires manual play and performs less effectively in single-target fights.

Skill Priority:
Spread Shot → Arrow Rain → Passive

Cleric Tree

Clerics are highly valued because they combine healing with strong offensive potential.

Cleric (Basic Class)

This class is always welcome in raids due to its healing abilities. It can also deal impressive damage against certain enemy types.

Skill Priority:
Divine Protection → Heal → Passive → Grand Namot

Paladin

A balanced solo class with solid defense and consistent damage. It performs well without requiring heavy investment.

Skill Priority:
Crusade → Smite Combo → Passive

Inquisitor

Specializes in boss fights. It can apply multiple status effects and deal heavy burst damage.

Skill Priority:
Breaking Wheel → Pear of Anguish → Passive

Plague Doctor

A hybrid DPS-support class with strong early-game power thanks to damage-over-time abilities. It falls off slightly in late game.

Skill Priority:
Incineration → Healing Factor → Incision → Black Death Stream → Passive

Scout Tree

Scout classes excel at assassination-style gameplay with strong burst potential.

Scout (Basic Class)

Focuses on disruption and utility rather than damage. Most players move quickly into advanced classes.

Skill Priority:
Smoke Bomb → Passive

Assassin

One of the best burst damage classes. With proper gear, it can eliminate enemies instantly.

Skill Priority:
Piercing Heart → Instant Accel → Passive

Rogue

Excellent single-target damage, especially against bleeding enemies. Weak in AoE situations.

Skill Priority:
Backstab → Mangle → Passive

Shinobi

Fast leveling and strong boss damage make this a popular choice. However, it requires high-quality companions to reach full potential.

Skill Priority:
Bunshin no Jutsu → Raiton no Jutsu → Futon no Jutsu

Gunner Tree

Gunners deal impressive ranged damage but are fragile.

Musketeer (Basic Class)

Provides strong AoE and party buffs but struggles with survivability.

Skill Priority:
Peace of Mind → Passive → Volleyfire

Sharpshooter

Exceptional single-target damage with strong defensive abilities.

Skill Priority:
Precision Fire → Snipe → Passive

Cannoneer

Wide AoE skills and strong burst damage make it ideal for clearing content quickly.

Skill Priority:
Explosion → Artillery Call → Passive

Rider Tree

Rider classes combine high mobility, survivability, and damage.

Lancer (Basic Class)

One of the strongest all-round classes. High damage, strong sustain, and excellent mobility.

Skill Priority:
Rhongomiant → Crush Combo → Passive

Winged Hussar

Best leveling class in this tree due to wide AoE skills and fast attack speed.

Skill Priority:
Uchisk → Passive

Schwarzer Reiter (Master Class)

A powerful single-target specialist with excellent mobility and kiting ability.

Skill Priority:
Limacon → Caracole
