Find Matt’s Cats Guide Wiki – Achievements, Hints, Locations

Tracking down every device for Gaming to Go in Find Matt’s Cats can get annoying fast, especially when a few of them blend into the level so well that you start second-guessing spots you already checked. The good news is that this achievement is much easier once you stop treating the whole stage like one giant search zone and start narrowing it down section by section.

This guide covers all 15 device locations for Level 1-6, The Lumber Yard, with simple area-based directions and extra context for the trickier ones. The goal here is to help you find what you need quickly without turning the whole thing into a messy list that is harder to follow than the level itself.

Find Matt’s Cats Guide Wiki – Achievements, Hints, Locations

A quick tip before jumping in: if you have access to a gun cursor, use it. Some collectibles are partially blocked by creatures or hidden behind visual clutter, and clearing the area makes a huge difference. Even when an item is technically “in the open,” it can still be easy to miss if the screen is crowded.

Device Locations

Device 1

Look on the left side of the map. This one is fully visible and does not rely on any trick hiding spot, so it should be one of the easier pickups once you focus on that side.

Device 2

Stay on the left side, but this time be ready to use the gun cursor. This device is hidden behind something that makes it easy to miss unless you clear the obstruction first.

Device 3

Still on the left side. This one is inside an object, so you will need to click around instead of only scanning the surface of the area.

Device 4

Move up to the top half of the map. This device is out in the open, so once you are searching the correct section, it should stand out more easily than some of the others.

Device 5

This one is also on the left side and is fully visible. It is not especially sneaky, but it can still slip past you if you are rushing through the level.

Device 6

Head back to the left side once again. Like Device 3, this one is hidden inside something, so interact with nearby objects rather than only checking exposed surfaces.

Device 7

This device is on the left side indoors. It is one of the more straightforward finds in the set, so once you enter the correct structure, you should spot it without much trouble.

Device 8

Search the bottom half of the map, leaning toward the left side. This one is sitting in the open, with no special hiding gimmick attached to it.

Device 9

For this one, move toward the middle of the map. It is out in plain sight, making it more of a location-check than a hidden-object puzzle.

Device 10

Check the bottom part of the map. This device is also fully visible, and there is a good chance you may have already seen it during a normal run.

Device 11

Now shift over to the right side. This one is inside an object, so make sure you interact with containers and props instead of only looking around them.

Device 12

Remain on the right side. This device is out in the open, but it has better camouflage than most of the earlier ones, so scan carefully.

Device 13

This one is also on the right side and is hidden inside a container or object. If you are cleaning up the last few missing devices, this is exactly the kind that can hold you up.

Device 14

Search the right side again. This is another device that is inside something, though it is not as devious as the more heavily obscured ones.

Device 15

The final device is on the right side and is out in the open. By this point, the challenge is usually less about the hiding spot and more about making sure you have not skipped a section during your sweep.

Best way to search the level

The cleanest way to finish this achievement is to break The Lumber Yard into three passes:

First, clear the left side, since a huge chunk of the devices are clustered there. After that, sweep the top, bottom, and center for the obvious open-visibility collectibles. Then finish on the right side, checking every object you can interact with before assuming something is missing.

That approach helps a lot because this achievement mixes together two different types of finds: items that are simply lying around, and items that are hidden inside props or blocked by creatures. When you know which type you are looking for, the level becomes much less frustrating.

Gaming to Go is one of those early achievements that teaches you exactly how Find Matt’s Cats likes to hide things. Some devices are generous, some are tucked inside objects, and a few are only difficult because the level is busy enough to make your eyes slide right past them.

Once you search in a deliberate order instead of wandering around randomly, this one becomes much more manageable.
