Detective Duck The Villa Walkthrough Guide – Keys, Puzzle

Alright, so if you’re jumping into The Villa map in Detective Duck, this one can feel a bit confusing at first because everything is connected step by step. If you miss one small detail, you’ll get stuck.

I’m going to walk you through the entire thing properly, exactly how it plays out, so you can follow along without missing anything.

Starting Area – Finding the First Key

As soon as you spawn in, the very first thing you need to do is grab the shovel nearby.

Once you have it, start digging through the mud piles. You don’t need to overthink it — just clear them, and inside one of them, you’ll find a silver key.

This is your starting item, and it’s what unlocks your next step.

Toolbox & Grinder

Now take that silver key and head over to the toolbox.

Open it up, and inside you’ll get a grinder.

This tool is important because it lets you break open a locked door nearby. Use the grinder on that door, wait for it to open, and move forward.

DJ Booth Key & Entering the Villa

Once the door is open, head over to the DJ booth. You’ll find another key sitting there.

Pick it up, because this is the key that lets you enter the villa itself.

Go ahead and unlock the villa entrance and step inside.

Scissors & Packages

As soon as you’re inside the villa, go upstairs immediately.

On a table, you’ll find a pair of scissors. Grab them.

Now go back downstairs because those scissors are used to open packages.

  • Open the first package → you’ll get a gate remote (very important)
  • Open the second package → you’ll see a poster showing the frequency: 433

Make sure you remember 433, because you’ll need it right away.

Opening the Gate & Turning On Power

Head back outside with the gate remote.

Use it on the gate, and enter the frequency:
433

This will open the gate.

Once inside that area, pull the lever to turn on the villa’s electricity.

TV Puzzle & Hidden Code

Now go back inside the villa.

You’ll notice the TV now has power. Pick up the remote nearby and turn the TV on.

The TV will show you a sequence of numbers.

This is where you need to interpret things:

  • The numbers shown follow a sequence
  • Use the nearby poster to convert those numbers into letters

When you do it correctly, you’ll get the word:

FREEZE

Refrigerator & Frozen Notepad

Go to the refrigerator and enter the word:

FREEZE

This will unlock it, and inside you’ll find a frozen notepad.

Take that notepad outside to the grill near the swimming pool and place it there.

Crowbar, Crates & Lighter

Next, pick up the crowbar nearby.

Use it to break open the crates in the area. You’ll need to check them until you find a lighter.

Once you have the lighter, go back to the grill and use it to unfreeze the notepad.

Now you can finally read what’s written on it.

Password Clues (Important Step)

The notepad reveals:

  • The password ends with 456

Now you need the first part of the password.

Go inside and check behind a painting, using your UV light. You’ll find another clue that says:

  • The password starts with “Den is the best”

So when you combine both parts, your full password becomes:

Den is the best 456

Safe & Denim Den’s Room

Now locate the safe and enter the full password.

Inside, you’ll get a key to Denim Den’s room.

Open that room, because this is where the game gives you the clues needed to identify the correct suspect.

Identifying the Suspect

Inside the room, pay attention to the clues:

  • An email mentions that Elena could keep the briefcase, but George has a way to deliver it
  • There’s also mention of the briefcase being transported
  • Another clue points toward a cross area that requires a yacht
  • And importantly, George is the yacht owner

Putting all of this together, it becomes clear that:

George is the one who took the briefcase

Fuel Tank & Reaching the Island

Before finishing, grab the fuel tank from the room.

Take it to the yacht, refuel it, and use the boat to travel to the nearby island.

On the island:

  • Use the shovel again
  • Dig up the spot to find a note from Denim Den

The note explains that you were trying to catch him, but he’s already escaped.

After this, a short cutscene will play.

Ending the Investigation

Once the cutscene finishes, you’re ready to complete the mission.

End the investigation and select:

George (the yacht owner) as the suspect.

That is the correct choice, and it will successfully complete the Villa walkthrough.

This map is all about following clues in order. Every item leads directly into the next step, so if you ever feel stuck, it usually means you skipped something earlier.
