RACCOIN Coin Pusher Roguelike Beginner Guide Wiki

RACCOIN throws you in without really explaining some of its most important mechanics, so a lot of what actually makes you better comes from figuring things out on your own. I’ve put everything here in a simple way so you can understand how things actually work and start playing smarter instead of just dropping coins randomly.

Controls & Coin Dropping Basics

One thing the game barely tells you is how coin launching actually works.

  • Press W or use the middle mouse button to drop coins from both sides at the same time.
This makes the coin land right in the center, which is way more consistent.

If you just want steady drops:

  • Hold down the launch button for a constant stream.

But here’s the important part:

  • Spamming the button is actually faster than holding it.

There’s also a small trick with automation:

  • If you hold the launch button, you can lock the launcher.
  • Once locked, coins will fire automatically whenever they’re available.
  • You can lock one side or both, depending on how you want to play.

Board

Instead of treating the whole machine the same, split it mentally into two parts:

  • Left side → where you keep coins in play
  • Right side → where you dump coins to score

This helps a lot once you start playing around bonuses.

Some coins (like clover-type bonuses) only matter while they stay on the board, so you don’t always want everything to fall immediately.

Coin Synergies

You’ll notice some coins give bonuses while they’re active — this is where things get a bit crazy.

One simple way to break the game early:

  • Stack bonus coins (like clover-style effects) on one side
  • Use chips that boost silver coin gain (like bracelet-type effects)
  • Add support tools (like rain-type effects)
  • Then throw in a single coin that converts everything into silver

When it works, you’ll suddenly get a huge payout all at once.

Later on, when you unlock more coin types like family or shape-based ones, these combinations get even stronger.

Expansion Choice

When picking expansions:

  • Go with the horizontal expansion early

Why?

  • Early on, you don’t have enough tickets to reroll properly
  • You’ll usually be forced to take whatever shows up

If you take vertical instead:

  • You might waste tickets trying to fix bad options
  • Or end up stuck with very limited coin choices

Build

If you don’t plan ahead, your runs will feel random.

Instead of checking the collection:

  • Go to your character directly
  • Look at:
    • Coins
    • Prices
    • Chips

Spend a few minutes figuring out what actually works together.

Even just 5–7 minutes of planning makes a huge difference.

Card

For the Manager character:

  • Night Guard is one of the best choices
Losing one exchange doesn’t matter since the Manager already has +2
  • Bank Book is extremely strong for stacking coins in tougher rounds
  • Desktop Bon is one of those things that quietly saves runs without you noticing

For the Biologist:

  • Not always reliable depending on your build
Since the passive gives an animal coin on exchange, it doesn’t always fit every setup

Avoid:

  • The Refitted card
It only gives +1 chip slot, which you can already get from the puncher keychain

Keychains & Bad Coins

When bad coins appear:

  • Always prioritize removing them

Even if they don’t seem like a problem:

  • You won’t get keychains until all bad coins are cleared

As for keychains themselves:

  • They’re all pretty solid
  • Just pick what fits your build or feels useful

If you have a UFO:

  • You can use it to make a bad coin fly away

It’s a small thing, but it helps clean your board faster.

Once you understand how to control coin flow, separate your board, and build around synergies, the game starts to feel completely different. What looked random at first becomes something you can actually control and optimize.

From there, it’s just about experimenting and finding combinations that completely break your runs.
