If you’re starting a new season, the biggest mistake people make is chasing “endgame builds” too early. What you actually want is something that feels smooth, clears fast, and doesn’t require perfect gear. That’s what these builds are about.
Instead of listing them like a tier list, here’s what each one actually feels like to play—and who it’s good for.
Sage (Chromatic Shot)
This is the kind of build that just works immediately. You don’t need crazy gear or deep knowledge.
You’re basically shooting projectiles that:
- Deal multiple types of damage
- Chain or explode through enemies
So early on, even weak enemies just disappear instantly. It feels very fast, very satisfying, and forgiving if you make mistakes.
The reason it’s so strong early is simple:
You’re hitting enemies in multiple ways at once, so nothing really survives long enough to threaten you.
If you’re new or just want a clean, stress-free start, this is easily one of the best picks.
Erica 1 (Windstalker / Lightning Shot)
This is one of those builds that somehow never gets bad.
You attack very quickly, and your damage scales naturally just by:
- Attacking faster
- Hitting more targets
It doesn’t rely on complicated mechanics. You’re basically:
- Moving fast
- Shooting constantly
- Clearing everything in front of you
It’s not flashy like some builds, but it’s extremely stable. That’s why people keep recommending it every season.
If you want something that won’t fall off later, this is a safe choice.
Thea 1 vs Gemma 2
Both of these are elemental-style characters, but they feel different.
Gemma 2
- Was very popular before
- Strong, but slightly weaker now
- Needs a bit more setup
Thea 1
- Feels smoother overall
- Generates resources (blessings) easily
- Easier to manage early game
So if you’re deciding between them, Thea just feels better to play. Less effort, more consistency.
Moto 2 (Minion Build)
This is for people who don’t want to micromanage everything.
Instead of doing all the damage yourself:
- You summon minions
- They fight for you
- You focus on movement and positioning
It’s one of the easiest ways to progress because:
- You’re safer
- You don’t need perfect aim
- You can handle tough fights more easily
If you like a relaxed playstyle, this is one of the best options.
Iris 2
This build is a bit weird at first, but extremely powerful once you understand it.
You’re basically:
- Controlling or riding your minion
- Fighting through it like a “mech”
It sounds complicated, but in practice:
- It clears very fast
- It doesn’t need expensive gear
- It scales really well early
Most people skip it because it feels different, but it’s actually one of the strongest early-game setups.
Mind Control Build (Yuga 2 / Thea 3 Style)
This is similar to builds where:
- You deal damage just by existing near enemies
You don’t spam attacks constantly. Instead:
- You move through enemies
- They slowly melt around you
It’s very chill to play, but requires:
- Understanding positioning
- Knowing how to scale damage over time
Not the fastest early build, but very comfortable once it gets going.
Kino 2 (Updated Gunslinger)
This one got major improvements and is now much stronger.
It’s a classic:
- Gun-based damage
- Fast attacks
- High burst potential
But unlike simpler builds, you need to:
- Position properly
- Manage your skills
It’s stronger than before, but slightly more demanding to play well.
Rosa 2
This is a very powerful all-rounder.
You move fast, deal heavy damage, and scale well into late game.
Early on, it might feel slightly slower compared to ultra-fast builds like Sage, but:
- It becomes extremely strong as you progress
- It handles difficult content better
That’s why many experienced players still pick it.
