Regions of Ruin Runegate Collectibles Guide – Cats, Drinks

If you’re going for 100% in Regions of Ruin Runegate, this is where things get serious. This isn’t just a checklist. Some of these collectibles are tied to quests, hidden triggers, or straight-up easy-to-miss interactions. And yeah — if you rush the story without paying attention, you will miss stuff.

Also, fair warning: a few things here naturally tie into story progression, so expect light spoilers.

Cats (All 4 Locations + Requirements)

There are four cats in total, and each one has its own little twist.

Stefan (Orange Cat)

  • Location: Recluse Cottage
  • Requirement:
You need to complete Mattias and Sigrid’s family questline first
After that, talk to Gry in Rivenbrook to trigger the quest
  • Only then can you bring Stefan to your settlement

This one is not just “find and click” — if you skip the quest chain, nothing happens.

Tabby Cat (Grey)

  • Location: Verdant Cavern → Deepstone Hollow (end area)
  • Requirement: None complicated

This one is refreshingly simple. You reach the end, interact, and it joins you without drama.

Scraps (Persian Cat)

  • Location: Lower District of Thaskrabask
  • Requirement:
A beggar will ask you for money
Give him 100 coins (maximum amount)
He runs off and leaves the cat behind

Yes, you’re basically buying the cat… indirectly.

Zanj (Sphynx Cat)

  • Location: Concealed Cave Mouth
  • Requirement (this one is heavy):
    • Complete all Resistance quests
    • Help them relocate and settle
    • Exhaust all dialogue

Only after all that, Zanj agrees to join.

This is easily the most missable cat if you don’t fully commit to that questline.

Drinks (All 10 Unique Drinks)

There are 10 drinks total, and some are easy while others are tucked behind progression or revisits.

Easy Ones (Common Finds)

  • Ale → Found in glass mugs across the map
  • Stout → Found in wooden mugs

You’ll naturally get these unless you’re actively avoiding them.

Old Mushroom Wine

  • Location: Top room of Bazguramundokh’s Tower (Rivenbrook)

  • Found in a horn inside one of the ground-level houses

Worm Blood

  • Location: Moonwell Oasis (Ealam)
  • Found inside the second tent

  • Then find it inside his house

  • Found to the right of the cabin

  • Found in the far-right corner of the room

Important Notes About Thrumgr Pages

  • Total = 30
  • Many are tied to puzzles
  • Some require revisiting areas after bosses
  • A few are tied to risky or permanent decisions (like Omed)

If you skip puzzles or rush zones, you’ll miss these.

This isn’t a game where collectibles are just scattered randomly.

Everything here connects to:

  • Questlines
  • Exploration depth
  • Revisiting areas
  • Paying attention to NPCs

If you play casually, you’ll find some.
If you play carefully, you’ll find all.

And yeah… a few of these are very easy to miss if you don’t know what you’re looking for — especially Zanj, late-game drinks, and several Thrumgr notes.
