If you’ve just started Magical Princess, you probably already noticed something… this game doesn’t really feel hard. Most achievements just happen naturally as you play.
But then there are those few… the ones that make you pause and go, “Wait, how was I supposed to figure that out?”
That’s exactly what this guide is for.
Instead of wasting your time repeating obvious stuff, I’m only focusing on:
- The confusing achievements
- The ones people usually miss
- And a realistic roadmap so you don’t end up doing 6+ playthroughs by accident
Also quick note, there will be some light spoilers, especially around endings. Nothing crazy, but just enough so you don’t get stuck.
The “Wait… How Do I Even Get This?” Achievements
These are the ones that trip up most players. I’ll explain them the way I wish someone explained them to me.
Deal Made (Sophie Merchant)
This one is easy to miss because Sophie doesn’t just casually exist.
You need to:
- Visit the town
- During a Crimson Moon night
She appears as a hidden merchant. Just buy anything and you’re done.
If you never visit town at night, you’ll completely miss this.
That’s Going to Sting (5,000 Damage in One Hit)
Normal builds won’t cut it here. You’ll cap around 4k damage.
What actually works:
- Get the Chainsaw weapon
- It appears later (around Sep 899)
- It has a crit chance that hits 9999 damage
Pro tip:
- Buy it during January with discounts
- Or just steal it if you’re playing that way
This achievement basically expects you to cheese it.
Divine Encounter (Harvest Goddess)
This one feels random unless you know the pattern.
Here’s what you do:
Every Bread Festival:
- Don’t participate
- Go for a walk
- Donate money to the lake
Repeat this every year.
On Year 3, the Goddess finally shows up.
Important:
The donation cost increases each year, so don’t go broke before then.
Terrible Omelet (All Naughty Events)
This one catches a lot of players off guard.
Requirement:
- Morality below 50%
Then just trigger events in specific months:
- Apr 898
- Jul 898
- Oct 898
- Jan 899
- Apr 899
- Aug 899
- Nov 899
- Jan 900
- Apr 900
You don’t need to pick specific choices, just trigger them.
Most people miss this because they play too “nicely”.
Ties That Bind (All Friendship Events)
This one feels random, but it’s not.
What actually matters:
- Befriend everyone
- Watch the map for rainbow icons
If you struggle:
- Do it in NG+
- Start with boosted affinity
Once you’re late in the game, events start chaining naturally.
Walking Cookbook (All Dishes)
Don’t try this in your first run. Seriously.
Best approach:
- Do it in NG+
- Max cooking bonuses early
Important sources:
- Combat drops
- Tavern rewards
- Night stealing
- Even trash digging
Yes, the final recipe literally needs failed trash items.
Respected Collector (100 Items)
This one is simpler than it looks.
Key detail:
- Items only count if they enter your inventory
So:
- Buy everything you see
- Don’t skip random items
Also:
- Music/art items count too
This is tracked across playthroughs, so don’t stress.
Well-Traveled (All Family Trips)
You won’t complete this in your first run. Period.
Why?
- You need high daughter affinity early
Best method:
- Start NG+ with boosted affinity
- Travel every season
Progress carries across runs, so you can clean it up later.
Warrior Princess (200 Enemies)
This one feels inconsistent, so just brute force it.
Best farming spots:
- Forest Stratum 3 → ~17 enemies
- Academy Festival battles
- Night street fights
- Crimson Moon encounters
If you focus it, it won’t take long.
Queen of the Kitchen (Cook 50 Times)
Easiest grind in the game if done right.
Just:
- Work bakery day + night
- Spam basic bread recipes
You’ll stack flour quickly and finish this fast.
Partner Endings Explained
There are 6 characters, and each has:
- Dating achievement
- Max affinity achievement
- Ending achievement
Here’s the trick most people miss:
You can prepare ALL candidates in one run.
How?
- Raise everyone’s affinity above 100
- Keep them close in value
Then:
- Save around Aug 900 (morning)
- Push one character slightly higher
- Finish ending
- Reload and repeat
This lets you clean multiple partner endings without replaying everything.
Roadmap
Here’s the approach that actually saves time.
First Playthrough (Just Play Smart)
- Focus on ONE stat → push to S+
- Choose matching school + activities
- Max one partner
- Do Divine Encounter
- Learn systems, don’t stress perfection
You’ll likely get a mid-tier ending. That’s fine.
Second Playthrough (Optimization Run)
Now things get smoother:
- Use NG+ bonuses
- Boost affinities early
- Start working on:
- Cooking
- Relationships
- Trips
You’ll unlock a lot passively here.
Third Playthrough
At this point:
- Focus missing achievements
- Trigger specific events (like naughty ones)
- Prepare partner ending saves
Final Cleanup Runs
Usually needed for:
- 200 enemies
- Missed events
- Small grind achievements
This part is fast if everything else is done properly.
What makes Magical Princess interesting is that it doesn’t overwhelm you with difficulty. Instead, it quietly hides things behind:
- Timing
- Morality
- Affinity
- And small decisions you don’t think about at first
If you approach it casually, you’ll miss a lot.
If you approach it smartly, 100% is actually very doable.
And honestly? That balance is what makes finishing it feel satisfying instead of exhausting.
